What PC Parts are you targeting for Prime Day in July?
AMD Radeon RX 6750XT and 1440p Gaming Monitor
I may take this offer up I still need a few more parts myself like a monitor, ram, psu, motherboard, cpu cooler, and ssd.
1440p IPS ultrawide gaming monitor.
Maybe a 5700x3d.
But realistically I'm not going to get it.
I do miss building a new pc though. It's a lot of fun to tinker with.
Am looking at better CAS DDR5 kits or OLED 4K but I think I'll wait on the later. 1440P atm still.
can tell you still recovering from your illness . . . push your fluids and electrolytes!! . . . shotgun some blueberries 😉
Thank you! Yes its been a challenge this week. Going to go drink more tea right now!
What happened to him
My wife who edits the videos and I both got nasty colds this week (tested negative for Covid thankfully just nasty chest colds) so producing a video was on hard mode for us this time
Along with Boost Your Build, Boost Your Immunity as well. 😊
@@PCBuilderChannelyou can also try not talking so much shit
Just watched the first 4 episodes of Paul's Hardware Fix Build series, when sudenly I got a notification saying new episode of Boost My Build is available, I was like "Yay, my favorite series is back" 👌😎👍
Great to see you! BMB for the win!! :D
This week i got an RX 6950xt brand new for 400$ my first AMD card.
It's been too long we have not seen PC build fails series, Cmon Jason please release MORE! Lol
Happy to see recommended parts change when presented with new information.
Keep up the good work brother! You're making me want to build a new one!
Much appreciated! When the time is right ;)
15:05 I actually have this cooler. It's great if you want to use it in restoring an older build with an older slimmer case. I have this in my 4790K build. It's my backup PC, which I don't use often.
Thanks love these vids. Still on the fence if i should jump on am5 haha
You make such great videos!!! Thanks for doing what you do.
Much appreciated! So glad you're enjoying the channel!
You were on the right track saying maybe just stick with the included box cooler. That 12400 will never need more than that. The money saved could get them into a 7900gre 🥳
As Jason said, I disable all the RGB on my case Antec CX200 "Fish Tank" as it was affordable comparing to those Be-Quiet cases. The only problem is that the post office delivery guy always perform illegally box-kicking. As a result, I've 3 x replacements of my Antec CX200 Fish Tank as it was cracked / damaged. I drove 2 hrs to the warehouse to got the last replacement.
I love this series make more of it ❤❤❤
Oh I know, it's sooo good.
So glad you are enjoying! Once Ryzen 9000 launches in July and we see where prices are going we can do a lot more of these. But if you like these make sure and click the like button to teach youtube to share this series!
Mr. Bear says he loves a good deal! He also says he loves Boost My Build series, cause he gets to look good on camera. 🥰🐈
Kitties and computers. Two of my favorite things!
He sure does! And he appreciates your attention :) Thanks for tuning in!
Welcome back and great video as always your knowledge in the PC building space is greatly appreciated especially when you have other youtubers talking about spending over $1000 on a 1440p PC build. The main difference between someone trying to actually help you build a solid gaming PC for less vs those who do it just for views and clicks.
So glad its helpful! Our goal is to help people find their dream build at every budget level so that's great to hear. Thanks for watching!
Always fun and informative. Thanks
You're so welcome! Glad you think so. Hope you keep enjoying all the content!
@@PCBuilderChannel Thanks man.
Yes! My favourite series again. Love the boost my build series. Both builds this time weren't that bad from the start. The 1000 dollar build is definitely better off with AM5 over a intel 12th gen. Now that build has a upgrade path. Love mr Bear getting some pats. Good video like always.
Glad you appreciate BMB! Mr. Bear thanks you for the attention. Thank you for tuning in!
Jason on point as always :3
Thank you!!!! :)
Great content as always thanks
Thank you so much Jason! Glad you're enjoying it all :)

God bless you man! Get better get some rest I love your videos man!
Love to hear it! Thanks so much for watching :)
Another great video!
Why thank you! And thank you so much for watching.
been following your channel for a while and just ordered myself the 750 dollar build here, very excited since my last desktop is over a decade old
Awesome! Good luck on the build!!
I like the blue RGB for its cooling
Jason, the xfx 7800xt is going for $390 rn and the 7900 gre is going for $420 on amazon. Best value rn
Just had a look. Pretty confident that’s a fraudulent seller imitating Newegg. Barely any ratings and a Chinese business name.
those are both the same scam seller w 2 ratings.....b careful out there
Green with Envy!! I'll Never get a price like that in Canada!! That GPU cost almost $700.00+ Cdn.
the GRE is a confirmed scam, I suspect the 7800XT is too
I checked both amazon USA and Canada and didn't see any such deals
I have the Thermalright Assassin X 120mm CPU cooler for my 7800x3D. Can't recommend it enough! It's quiet and cool and less than $20, you can't beat it!
I like the cpu cooling and ram recommendation changes.
It's unfortunate what's happened to Deepcool, hoping their products continue to be available in Canada.
I'll 2nd That Thank You! All (3) of my Builds are in Deep Cool Cases + 2 other Friend's Builds: Brian & Jeff.
always great and realistic builds
except for the windows os :p could always do better but i digress
You can turn off the RGB, but you can't "turn off" the glass panels. I'm one of the strange creatures that doesn't really like RGB, but I hate all the glass on most modern cases. I want solid steel in the side panels. It's lighter and it's less fragile. The problem is almost no cases are as standard supplied with solid side panels, but some manufacturers will sell you solid panels as extra. Problem is you almost always have to buy the case with glass panels first so you pay for those too. Fractal does sell their cases with solid steel panels if you ask for it. Still not cheap.
Hey Jason, I DID IT!!! pulled the Trigger on an RX7700XT & Got (2) Free Games Bundled with It!! Standby for Further game Testing Updates!!
Which games??
@@Marcelis Company of Heroes 3 & Lies of P; Since I already own Starfield, didn't see the Point of getting the 'Premium Edition'
@@michaeloneill1360 yeah lies of Pi and Pandora would be my choice since I also have Starfield from the last bundle and I’m not really interested in Company. Hope you enjoy everything 👍🏿
Bought the 7800XT. Picked Avatar and Starfield. How can you go wrong? 😁
Huge Mistake/w Company of Heroes 3; I'm Not into RTS Games! I don't know how do anything!!!
Alright! Saturday mornings with Jason! 😁
Cheers! BMB for the win :) Thanks for tuning in!
Thanks for the recommendations! He decided to buy a prebuilt on-sale.
You're very welcome! As long as everyone's happy :) Thanks for watching!
I used the Pop Air on my last build, and I like it. $80 was a good price at the time, though.
In Build #1 I almost chose the same GPU: RX6800 non XT, but for $20.00 Cdn. more, I chose the RX7700XT/w (2) Free Games!!! RDNA 3 vs. RDNA 2 I think I made the Correct Choice??
I think they are both great. AV1 encoding is taking way longer than I hoped to get fully adopted but I think at some point in the next year it will pick up and that's they advantage of the 7700 XT.
It's an interesting time those looking to get a cheap build there are some deals now and Prime Day/Fantastech likely will have more. Though 9000 series is coming, not excited about pricing leaks (if accurate they are a mixed bag), am more interested in the new X3Ds that aren't out yet. Good thing is once you've upgraded you can chill and take your time more in thinking about the next upgrade. That CL30 kit isn't bad though, I'm torn having both 2 x 32gb kits and a 48gb kit for DDR5, I want better CL and capacity on upgrades, it's a weird obsession to think about, would love a good CL ram kit on sale though am not sure I would want another 32gb.
Just once I'd like to see one of these where he shows the build and is just like "yeah, good job, it's perfect!" I know that kinda defeats the purpose of this series, but it would just be funny lol.
Im stealing that $1000 build upgrade for a friend of mine who is coming from an amd fx system.
Its exciting to hit AM5 at that price!!
He might feel that upgrade
@@veilmontTV”might” lol
Gearing up for a new build, i cant wait for the new cpu's
Yes! Which one are you most excited about?
@PCBuilderChannel I am really looking forward to the high-end X3D chips and how they have progressed. I'm going to attempt my first custom hardline loop. 😅
Many reviews state the bit Fenix case is misrepresented of max gpu size, pictures showing the 6750 doesn't fit at 323 mm
I did a build with the 6800 and bitfenix case, and at first it didnt fit but i took off the cooler, ram, and 24 pin connector and it fit. It was tight but it worked so just letting you know
Hell Yeah !!!
Hi Jason. Love the detail in the videos. Just jumped to AM5 with a 7950X3D on an MSI X670E gaming plus - and it won't recognise the CPU. Seems to be a common problem. Anyone else come across a fix for this?
I grabbed that deepcool case with 3 rgb fans for 60 bucks at the beginning of this month lol just barely before all that. The bitfenix was my second option though.
Hey I was wondering if you could try/look at the Acer Predator GM7000 SSD compared to the Lexar NM790. Its cheaper, about the same speed, listed as a high-end SSD on the SSD tier list, and has a vram cache whereas the lexar doesn't. Wondering why its not more popular.
Love seeing Mr. Bear. 😊
Thanks for watching! Mr. Bear appreciates it very much ;)
Finally more BMB!!!
Yes! Looking forward to getting all the new CPUs launches in July so we can do lots more!
That GPU is huge, I bought a used Fractal Design Meshify 2 Mini in mint condition very cheap, to replace my Meshify C (missing front USB, scratches, some missing screws), and this XFX card simply did not fit. Great card, but must be really careful choosing a case.
Man a good SolidEdge or KiCAD model is well over 16 GB, gotta have more. I am undecided on 32 or 64 (maybe 48) dor OpenSCAD even.
First build I personally would've stuck wirh the peerless assassin knowing AM5 has the option to upgrade to X3D Cpus while they're not as hot as Intel I9s it can throw out a good amount of heat even if it is efficient so knowing that that upgrade path is there I personally would stick with the overkill for RN cooler for an easier upgrade later
I have the same XFX 6800 GPU, it's great. My little 12400F can keep up with the 7600/12600K CPU, thanks to the BCLK OC of the B760M PG Riptide. I plan to buy a Phantom Spirit or Pearless Assassin, because my old little Cooler Master Hyper 212 can't keep up with the summer heat.
I have a dilemma, I would upgrade to a 4K OLED TV from my 27" 1440p 144Hz IPS monitor, but I am afraid that the 6800 will be very weak for that.
Asrock b650m pro motherboard(for AMD 7000 cpu) doesn't have a port for my Sound Blaster Z sound card. which other motherboard do you recommend that has port for my sound card?
Hey Jason, I got a system with a 2060 super and a ryzen 5 3600 with 16 gb of ddr4 and a 512 gb pcie 3.0 ssd. I got it used for the equivalent of 250 usd, what do you think?
As of now Rx 6800 goes down to like $260 on amazon and I am eyeing this gpu and I would like to make it a combo with either 5600x or Micro Center have this deal on 5800x3d with mobo and ram for like $350 but the don’t have a store near me. This will be my first gaming rig. What’s your thoughts on that?
I bought a Deepcool AK620 white digital air cooler then that news came out the next day, sucks cause I really like Deepcool's styling.
The 7900 gre is the goat tbh for price performance especially since the ram clocks are unlocked now
I scored a brand new EVGA gt 1000 supernova for 68 bucks at my local best buy was an unopened return that just sat in back room 😅 I hope it will run my 7900xtx build if not might just build my son a nice mid tier setup.
Waiting on the 9000x3d but I’m piecing everything else together. Asrock b650e steel for 129, and 32 gb 6000 ddr5 team group for 106. Just waiting to see if the 7800x3d will drop on prime day
heyyy jason good video
Hey hey! Thanks for being with us this weekend!
I'm confused with Asrock b6660m pro picture top left hand corner it has AMD on board why? this an intel CPU board? 14:29
If 7800X3D drops to like $250 on Prime Day, I'm going to have to pull the trigger on it. It's looking like the 9700X might be slightly better than it for gaming, but that could cost like $350 to $399. Thumbs up!
This if that happens my am5 will be built far quicker. I was waiting on the 9000x3d. I started piecing it together already
You can already pick up a 7800X3D for that price. 😂😂
I believe amd has already confirmed that none of the non x3d 9xxx series cpus will be better at gaming that the 7800x3d.
I'm still rocking a 6750xt paired with a 5600x, crushing my gaming needs!
16:00 unless, you have like i3 12100f paired with 1660 super, 16 GB still remain good conbination for that budget.
New to this channel and you seem so knowledgeable :) id love to have the confidence to build my own pc but would somehow mess it up 😂. could you recommend a pc prebuilt + monitor if i had say €1500 - mainly playing World of Warcraft for the new expansion coming in august .
Thanks so much, glad you found us! I'm sure you could build it and it would run :) But in the meantime, check out our Best Prebuilt 2024 and Best Gaming Monitors 2024 videos for our recs!
Appreciate you replying 🙏 may have to give it a try after all
I would appreciate some help. I bought a preebuilt pc with a AMD 5500 and radeon 6600 with A520 something motherboard and 16 GB of ram. I am new to this so I would like some suggestions on how to upgrade my pc. Love the videos!
Even as a certified mechanic i would never recommend a 6cyl... 8 core is the bare minimum..i am bumping up to 64gb on primeday to get a jump on the gaming curve. I cannot justify am5 no matter how much i want one as i have a disability income and have already done a full build in the past year...love your videos and your cat man 🎉
Just found your channel: I'm new to P.C. been studying through you and other resources. Where can I go to build a P.C. that suits around my needs? I'll spend what I have to for reliability and years of upgrades, but I'm not really looking for flashy, just more for study, possibly video calling, and some gaming. My main goal for gaming is to be able to play the shooter games I like with knowing I have confidence in my setup, and I'm not lagging or something due to having outdated materials. Please point me to a website or video so i dont spend unnecessary money for my applications.
PC Part Picker is where Jason and others here go to.
I can make a parts list for if you want, I just want to know your budget.
I was trying to snag a Teamgroup m34 for my first build but I missed out, what would you recommend in terms of similar performance and not a drastic increase in price?
Check out our Best SSD for Gaming 2024 video for more options
Need more info on 7900 gre it has had driver update as and memory over looking unlocked and no one mentions it although most say it the best fps per dollar

Thank you!
Hey Jason, I have a really really serious question over here in Germany
I need to know if it makes sense to upgrade my PC from an I5 10400F with 1 ram stick of ddr4 (very slow speed) to a new ddr5 mainboard with an Ryzen 7600 and 32 gigs of ddr5 ram (6000)
while keeping my 1660 super for another 5 months in this build until i will buy a new gpu???
Answered elsewhere!
Had to drop a like. Amazing work, really helpful.
Thanks for the like! Glad you found this one so helpful.
I would like your opinion on how i can upgrade my current setup:
Ryzen 9 7900x
Asus tuf 3080 rtx
Tuf b650-plus wifi
Evga 860 psu 80+ gold
Z73 Kraken liquid cooler
In a hyte y60 case
Hard to top the Corsair 4000d with rm750e preinstalled for $155 if building from nothing
Got myself a 6750xt couple months back for 330$, and after a single day they dropped price to 300 😂😂, however I've had a terrible experience so far, screen tearing, shutting off like when switching resolution, brightness flickering, and my monitor is freesync premium, never had these problems on rtx 2060, only time it runs relatively smoothly is when using super resolution
hi jason i love ur videos i watch every single one they're very informative. i was wondering if the Gigabyte B550 GAMING X V2 ATX is a good mobo for a 5600? its been going on sale for 80 bucks from 100 so idk whats up with that but its a good deal right? i just don't want it to give me any headaches. also I'm thinking about using 4 sticks of ram, is that going to be a problem? sorry for the long message, hope youre having a good day
Yes the Motherboard is good.
As for the RAM 2 sticks are better and less expensive.
@@kelley09162 ive heard its better but i really like the look of 4 sticks honestly thats it. if it wont be a problem or affect performance much i dont mind
The cat's name (Ambrosius) sounds so badass.
He agrees and says that he very much is ;) Thanks for tuning in!
I currently have an i9 10900 paired with a 3070. Which one should I upgrade first?
Option 3: hold on to what you have for another 2 years and then upgrade everything.
Most games I'm playing now using upwards of 20-24 GB of RAM. 32 is the new 16.
Jason! You need to create a "How to install Case Fans" guide! You won't belive how many mistakes I made!
hey what’s up pc builder ! I’m new to the pc building scene but I really want to build a 1440p pc but I only have 1000 are there any videos or recommendations u have thank you 🙏
Welcome to the community! Check out our 1440 Gaming is Cheap/Best Builds 2024 video for some great recs!
The rx 7800 xt and rx 7900 gre seems good as Well as the rx 7900 xt
I have the 6750 xt. It's a great card.
Jason, what gains can I get going with ASUS ROG Z790-E Gaming WiFi II vs ASUS Tuf Gaming Z790 Pro WiFi?
There’s basically a £200 difference here in the UK
I would say the ASUS ROG isn't worth it over the ASUS TUF. I don't love the TUF either because somewhat recently ASUS Scammed Gamer's Nexus so I can't recommend any of their products.
However if you're set between those two go TUF.
Yea there’s something telling me that the ROG just isn’t worth it. Cheers!
on the topic of rgb you can turn it off yeah... with software for most things nah. i picked a keyboard with on board rgb control and my mouse i took it a part and clipped the wire to turn off rgb. dont install a bunch of bloat just to control or turn off rgb look for hardware that is what you want, its your build.
Jason, wanted to ask about ssd’s? Will it get cheaper for prime day?
It's possible though we don't know for sure
@@kelley09162 thanks for the reply bro

With your $1000 build, would swapping GPUs to a rx6750xt still be a good build? i found one for $220
Yes it would

I just decided to wait to save more money and get a nvidia 4070 ti super as opposed to getting a 7900 gre
Wait til Bear finds out he not talking to him.
So I'm having the weirdest issue and I can't find a similar case anywhere I think you can help!
Whenever I start up the PC and start gaming I get consistent fps drops after 5-10 mins (99% 10-20 fps)
As soon as I restart the problem gets fixed and I can game all day without any concerns but ONLY if I restart
Anyone knows what the problem may be? My rig is new I just built it last week
Just got a prebuilt off of fb market place. 7900 xtx ryzen 7 5800 ,ddr4 ,mother board is a msi non WiFi or Bluetooth. I want to get another motherboard with WiFi and bt what one do u recommend? I also want to get ddr5 , and a ryzen 7 5800x 3d. Just want to make sure I get the right motherboard
DDR5 won't work with a 5800X3D.
Also you can save money and just get a Wi-FI adapter/card instead of paying money for a new Motherboard.
Deep cool is in deep trouble.

Hey, is it currently worth getting a new pc or should I wait for new gpus? (would like to put together a 4070ti super build, they are priced at about 750€ here)
Depends on your market but I'd say its a good time to build. That GPU isn't the best price to performance in the US market but it might be for you. See our latest GPU Market Update video for more
