    In this video, I show you what the Rockford Fosgate HD14RGSG-STAGE 3 kit sounds like on the highway, not in a parking lot.

    Thank you for your review 👍🏼 Finally someone did it while on the bike so we can hear how it sounds “on the road”. Anyone can do it in the parking lot 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Nice to see a fellow Arkansan out and about, and relatively close by as well. Appreciate the real world review, as I’ve been on the fence about Rockford or Sinister for a 4 speaker kit on my 17 ultra. This helps out

    Just found your channel, great content. I have a few questions:
    What size windscreen do you have and I assume that is a Klock Werks?
    What make, model and size are your handlebars?

      @glidearkansas  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you! I’m glad to have you here. In this video, I have the 8.5” Klock Werks Flare windscreen installed. I have since switched to the 10.5” model. My handlebars are the 10” KST Kustoms Mayhem model.

    Will my wife actually be able to hear music from the lids ? some say yes and some say their only good if you're in town riding.

    • @glidearkansas
      @glidearkansas  Před rokem

      She will be able to. My wife says its not as clear at 80+ mph with a full face helmet on, but she can still hear the music. My exhaust is extremely loud, which doesn’t help that. It might be different, if I had a quieter exhaust system.

    Question, what do you mean "have to have your stock radio 'flashed"?

    • @glidearkansas
      @glidearkansas  Před 3 lety +2

      Apparently, the stock settings have a curve in them that is not good for upgraded systems. They hooked my bike to a laptop and “flashed” new settings in to the computer. I’ve heard other people call it “flattening the curve”.

    Did u have to adjust any amp settings? Or are there any amp setting? I have the exact same setup. I even have tabs and zombies

    • @glidearkansas
      @glidearkansas  Před 2 lety

      When they installed the system, they flashed my factory radio and made some external adjustment to the installed amp. I don’t know what the exact settings were, but I sat on the bike and was told to tell the installer when the sound was clear. I hope this answers your question.

      @Hunter Biden’s crack dealer Did they have you listen to the speakers when they dialed it in or did they have it ready to pick up all dialed in ? I get mine installed in a couple months after I get my stage 2 done with Tabs full system with Zombie pipes so my bike is going to be loud as hell.

      @@Hhhhhgggihgdd no basically u just control the bass and treble from the radio. If they use the double sided tape to mount ur amp to the bag it will fall off and rattle around. Mine has been back twice and it still falls off. Gonna make a bracket to hold it in place. Terrible design by Rockford. System is awesome otherwise.
