I have lost tweeters in 3 sets so far. I had a DSP but it was defective so sent it back and didn't get another one. My amp is the 400ad and I had to dial the gain back to the 12 o'clock position to keep it from blowing tweeters. It sounded great at 2 o'clock until the tweets failed. I am looking for a replacement so I can get the volume back.

great video.. I have the rockford fosgate stage 2 400watt amp w/fairing speakers installed on my 2022 Road Glide ST. I am now looking to add saddlebag speakers. Do you think I should stick to the RF 6x9s or something better? Looking for direct fit with my existing 400watt amp installed in the saddlebag. Don't really want to change the amp.. too much trouble.

Thanks Carlos! Quick question (hopefully)... I just got the TMS69BL14 for my 18 LTD and plan on adding it to the bike this wk. I intend to use the RF speakers for ow that come with the kit but I have MMATs in my front speakers now and think those sound really good and may want to swap out the RF 6x9's for a set of MMATS 6x9's. Question: After modifying the shell as you demonstrated, does the RF basket for the 6x9 MMATs as well? In your demo at the end of the vid, you dont show the basket installed so just asking. Thnx!

I have a 2014 ultra limited, so the system is set with 4 speakers. 2 in the front and 2 in the tour pac. I want to add the 6x9 kit in my lids. I want to add an amp to the tour pac and separate the tour pac allowing the saddlebag speakers to be connected to the main harness. Was hoping you might have already completed a video or would do a video for the wiring process for this project.

Need to update this video with this year's Rockford Fosgate for HD Stage II system. All 3 way speakers. Can no longer cut your own bags; they make you buy new lids. I just put the 8 speaker/2 amp system in my bike (good luck getting parts as most are BO'd until June). 8 speaker setup will run you about 3K but truly great sound. Can play at 100% with zero distortion and will leave your ears ringing.

I had to order from about 4 different places but got everything I needed. Many at discounted prices. Just FYI.

@@NVSAUDIO Hey, Carlos. I have this exact kit. I previously attempted to install diamond audio MS69CX speakers in this kit. It was more modification to attempt to make them fit. I got 3 holes to line up before I realized I would have to reamer the 4th hole on the speaker housing to accomplish my install. So I purchased the Hertz neo SPL show SX 690. They fit perfectly in my heavily modification rockford speaker adapters. I water tested the setup with about 10 oz of water in each lid. They leaked where the Hertz housing has the square cut out in each corner of the speaker housing. So I put the speakers that come with the kit back in the adapters and tried the same test. Not a drop of water entered my bags. Do you think I can apply a thin bead of urethane or butyl sealant to the bottom of the adapter in place of the thin foam to resolve the water leak with the SX690?
