I made a crosscut jig to get the most out of it. This is multifunction crosscut jig can use for circular saw, jigsaw, router and trim router. It's super handy to have in the shop. I think this is the best one so far.

By far the most COMPLETE video on the CZcams... 5 Stars!!!
thank you
I agree. Plus, you gave Metric measurements!
I had to look up HDR as I never heard of it before.
Excellent job!
I'm hoping to start in woodwork!
That should have read MDF and not HDR.
@@V21IC sorry you wrong not MDF not HDF but HMR this is for detail HMR (high Moisture Resistant) www.sinkwarehouse.com.au/blog/what-is-hmr-board-why-it-is-best-material-for-your-bathroom-vanity-cabinet/
or maybe in UK or europe more familiar Valchromat material almost same like HMR
Muy bueno y vien entendido tu trabajo Dios te siga bendiciendo con sabiduría y muchas gracias por ese aporte
thank you very much!! sorry for late reply
Well executed jig. A couple of tips, when you cut a slot in material as plywood with the router it can be useful to first only score the surface with a very low depth of cut, then repeat the cut at full depth. When you check for square you have to butt the short and tick side of the combination square against the piece and then slide it until the thin part have contact with it, but avoiding to apply any pressure on that thin blade, thing that you don't seem to do properly. To apply pressure on that part can give false results as the light that reveals an error can be split between the 2 parts of the combination square or even be all in the thick part, that being shorter and thicker make less easy to spot discrepancies from a perfect result, assuming that the combination square is precise, thing that is usually true for the high end ones only, while I have still to see a cheap one that comes really square out of the factory.
So for people that uses the cheap ones without tweaking them to be precise (there are videos online about it) I suggest to use some other kind of square (I don't assume that yours is cheap and not precise, this is mainly for who takes inspiration from your video), and the method of checking, applying pressure only on the short tick part of the square is true for all and every time you want a precise result, should become an habit for every woodworker (it is also useful to butt that part against the most straight and better refined of the 2 surfaces to avoid that the piece you check introduces discrepancies). Ciao from Italy.
wow so long comment, thank you for tips!!
Hermano Dios le siga bendiciendo y dándole sabiduría, mi opinión es el cerrucho japonés y la multipropósito

Excellent video. Detailed and somehow simple, all in the same tutorial. Well done my friend.
Thank you hope can give inspired
Muy bueno
thank you
Muy bueno el video. Tengo una pregunta. Como garantizo la perpendicularidad de las guias sobre las que desliza la herramienta. No se como asegurar si cada guía tiene tornillos en los extremos y cada uno se mueve. y no veo ningún tope.
thank you, i only use aluminum glue that very strong glue, but if want more strong you can give screw on slider
Hola felicidades por ese gran trabajo, solo me quedé con la duda de saber con qué pegaste el perfil de alunio con el tubo cuadrado, es algo especial, o cualquier pegamento?
thank you for visit, more good if use all steel but i difficult found, good quality L shape steel that why i use aluminum, but i recomended if use steel more durable
very good~^^
Thank you very much
Nice job. Couple things, though: First, the steel channel bars you used will have to be absolutely perfectly straight. It has been my experience that they can sometimes deviate from straight. Second, I think it would’ve been best if you had shown that in order to line up those steel bars, you have to put your cutting tool at both ends and adjust the width of the bars so that the bars line up perfectly at both ends, otherwise you may get pinching of the tool when you move it from one end to the other.
thank you, 100% right before i use the metal i always cek that perfect straight and flat or not. inow i upgrade that tools have guide if movement the slider
Congratulations, excellent Jig!!
I wonder if the 2 x 2 metal structure you used for the main saw track is aluminum or steel ?
Thank you...
Yes, correct
Looks great.
I personally don’t trust epoxy resin glue to hold metals. Polyurethane mastic (as used on car body panels) is a better option. It can be messy so protect the panel front surface with masking tape. You could also use countersunk M6 socket head screws to screw the tracks into place.
The same glue would also bond the box and L sections section.
thank you for suggestion , tes you right if i push more for track i think cant hold. more secure give glue and screw that
Thumbs up .....Keren Pak channel nya...baru kali ini sy liat channel lokal yg bermutu dan ngga asal2 an utk cari follower.. ngga spt kebanyakan channel lokal yg ala kadarnya..Awalnya sy pikir channel LN....pas liat Lem yg dipake baru sadar hehehe...keep up the good work. Btw...HMR di pasaran lokal namanya jg sama?
hehe mnaksih banyak supportya mas
Woodprix Blueprints has some very useful blueprints with all the details you need.
Thanks for the tip!
@@plywoodworking Fantastic you love it ! Best wishes and many hugs 🤗🤗🤗
how do you allow for different height between jigsaw blade and circular saw blade? Also does jigsaw blade go through the base?
thank you very much
👍👍👍
thank you
Aluminium box section is more precision made than steel. Maybe that would be a better option. You would need tube or resin insets at the ends so the box is not crushed by the hold-down nuts.
that good idea i will try on new jig, thank you
very good idea, I would like to know in which store they bought the red bras that are seen holding the wood
thank you very much, i buy this clamp on ali express
Hi great video and detailed instructions, I am currently in the process of manufacturing one for myself. Two questions please, you do not mention the track end stops or their manufacture in your video and secondly do you use a sacrificial layer under the boards you cut to avoid cutting into the base board? Thank you again for your series of professional videos for DIY tools.
thank you, i set up height cross cut only touch 5mm on base (base thickness 15mm) for circular saw that why i not give extra leg or board under base , coz my circular blade only 6.5 inchi i try make max cut.
You could use SIN board would be a good choice. What is SIN board? Sheet PVC. Aso some home stores have it in limited sizes.
thank you for suggestion, what about the price that expensive or not?
Mau tanya om, lem buat nyatuin alumunium L dan besi persegi. pke lem apa ya om? Makasih
Lem dextone yg clear bening lbb kiat drpd yg hitam
Uses a mobile track saw to make an immobile track saw 😆💯
thank you very much 👍👍
👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you
Cool
Seems kinda like a novelty in some ways. Ex. I've never seen someone use a jigsaw in this fashion. Not sure you ever would since there's about 60 other saws you'd use before a js

hi! You should make this tool and sell it worldwide. I have a jigsaw and I want a guide. You would make the parts and I assemble them! ... excellent video and tool! Congratulations!
thank you, maybe one day i will production this jig
Great idea! May I ask where I can buy HMR. I only find MDF in HomeDepot. Thank you
thank you, try find on local store, you can ask HMR or valchromat that same material but vamchromat more better than HMR
very good job. please You can tell what material the assembled structure is made of.
thank you, i use HMR (High Moisture Resistant) material, this is the next MDF.
👍👍👍✋.
thank you
May I suggest some kind of dust collection or control
I still build that,my problem on electry, i have limit if use many tools and vacum
Very nice and extremely practical.
What is HMR?
thank hope can give isnpired, this is explain for HMR www.sinkwarehouse.com.au/blog/what-is-hmr-board-why-it-is-best-material-for-your-bathroom-vanity-cabinet/, maybe on this web wrong image but right explain
@@plywoodworking Thanks
@SkrIbbLe Thanks
HMR = High Moisture Resistance; a special resin that is added to boards like MDF to make them very resistant to moisture. Great for bathroom installations.
Boss ang lupet ng mga Idea mo. May I ask what HMR stands for? Thank you in advance.
Hmr high moisture resistan this is new material the next mdf and partical board, more solid, durable, flat and water resistant
Ngeri mas!
Makasih banyak mas
