This is probably the best executed apartment tour video I’ve seen! Y’all told us the rent, explained the rooms without telling us about every single little item in every drawer, and had links to stuff in the description. Well done!
I agree. Some apartment tour videos get into every little detail, and both of Cody's apartment tours give just the right amount detail.
Savannah I agree. It bugs me when some say, “and here are my pens I use to write. Here are some forks I have to eat with. And this candle I burn in the evening.” But they don’t show the actual apartment layout. 🙄

Another extremely well done video! We are middle-aged folks with grown kids and we sold our family home and downsized to a condo in the centre of our city (Toronto). Totally worth the move as city living has enhanced our quality of life - we are actually outdoors and walking more in the city than we ever did in the suburbs. What we, however, need more of are ideas to use our smaller interior spaces better. Thank you both so much for the great ideas regarding hiding technical wires and using space wisely.
I love to see other people living comfortably in smallspaces. I live in a 400 sq. ft studio in Seattle and I haven't been able to take the Murphy bed plunge! Mostly because my dog loves to lie on the bed...

I literally rewatch this video at least once a month. Every time I need a boost of inspiration to finish decorating my apartment I watch this video and it reminds me that one day I too will have a completed and successfully decorated apartment that's at least half as aesthetically pleasing as this one and I can't wait for that day...so close!!! :-)

The light bathing your home is irreplaceable. It can dramatically impact your outlook, if you let it! I was fortunate to have something similar when I was on the corner top floor of an Astoria, Queens apartment. I’ll have to look for your podcast to hear how you guys have adjusted after switching coasts and of course, the long boarding situation.

I hate small spaces, but your's is the first studio I think I could actually live in (except for the fact that the bathroom is not big enough for a kitty litter pan). The way you designed and decorated your apt is perfect. So well thought out. A place of everything and everything in its place. Congrats on a great job!!!! PS: Are you both really that neat? 😉

There's a huge difference in 450 square feet vs even 300-350 square feet. Everything is basically "regular" size.
Much easier for 2 people to share.

I'm usually never envious of couples, because there is always tension, but you two are definitely meant to be together. You both radiate positive energy!!!
Love the look and style of their apartment! So beautiful and clean
lovely couple with a lovely, clever, cozy space. Welcome to the west coast. Suggest putting a long horizontal mirror on the hall wall across from bathroom to bounce the light making entrance brighter and larger feeling. Inexpensive at Bi-Mart etc. Also I would change out the rugs. Put the one now under the dining table in the hallway; the one under the couch put under the table demarcating and enlarging that space. It's Colors will flow the space into the couch. Put a larger cream rug (maybe shag) under the couch. On the patio entwine faux ivy throughout the grill fence for privacy, to collect dirt, and to shut out cars/buildings while leaving open sky for your delight.Enjoy
Or they can leave their space how they enjoy it. Just a suggestion.. you can do what you like in your own home. I think what they've done is beautiful and your comment is so rude. If you're such an expert make your own home tour.

Beautiful home I live in a 450 sq ft nyc apt and love it. I didn’t want to take it at first but a friend said it’s just YOU living there so the lightbulb went off like OMG your right💯🙃. Congratulations on your amazing home guys. Less cleaning as well💯
My wife and I just moved last month and in our new place we now have a blue velvet sofa; Lindome from IKEA. We also have the same double bookshelf setup you guys went with. I was never a huge fan of the natural wood look in a home (I’m not sure why) but we took a chance on it and we love it.

I've seen your 300 sqft NYC apt tour as well, and I just want to say that the amount of care and creativity you guys have poured into your living spaces, is really wonderful to watch. I've been furiously planning my own apt layout of the place I'll soon be moving into; it's more space than you guys have (600 sqft) but nevertheless your videos inspire me to be more thoughtful and intentional in working with limited space, so thank you!

Cool space! Definitely taking notes on how you guys maximize space. We've gone back and forth on the murphy bed idea. We currently have a sleep number mattress that we love that wouldn't work with a murphy bed, but if we changed mattresses, I think we'd make the leap and free up the space. Love your minimalist style!

you look so different without the hat...I was trying to figure out "that man" was in the apt for a good 2 minutes. I like this apt even better than the NY one. You both are good at small space design.
