    lyrics
    Drivin' through the roadwork
Oh, the work they took forever on
The road cones blur like memories
Of the miles we shared between
The place you learned to say your prayers
The place I took to prayin'
    Loadin' in and breakin' down
My road dog door deal dreams
    Long before we ever met
    I made up my direction
Long before I knew the half
Of half that I'm sure of now
And though I'd say it ain't the way
    That you'd a-gone about it
You follow me, and lead me on
    And never let me down
So I'll love you 'til my lungs give out
    I ain't lyin'
    I'm all your'n and you're all mine
There ain't two ways around it
There ain't no tryin' 'bout it
    I'm all your'n and you're all mine
    Fried morels and fine hotels
And all that in the middle
Every bite and curtain drawn, I wanna taste with you
The goddess in my days in pen
    The muse I ain't refusin'
The part of me that ain't around
    I'm always talkin' to
So I'll love you 'til my lungs give out
    I ain't lyin'
    I'm all your'n and you're all mine
There ain't two ways around it
There ain't no tryin' 'bout it
    I'm all your'n and you're all mine
So I'll love you 'til my lungs give out
    I ain't lyin'

There ain't no tryin' 'bout it

I live in Lexington, Kentucky, which is where Tyler gigged around when he was just coming up. I’m not nearly hip enough to have known about him back then, but once he started to blow up, living here had huge advantages to being a fan of his. I got to meet him and get a couple of his albums on vinyl autographed, and I got to see him concert in October 2017 at a venue here called The Burl that has a capacity of only 300 people. It was just Tyler and his guitar and it was an amazing show.

You have Inspired me to “pick it up” more times than not. Lifetime musician first comment and subscriber just wana say thanks for keeping me centered during all this crazy mess we’ve been going through. Music is life. Rock on my brother man! And thanks.

Amazing! Although you are the reason my sleep schedule is totally screwed. I’m consistently up until 5 watching vids and adding new music to my playlist!

Theres still great country music out there. You just gonna look a little harder for it. "Country music is dead," nah man, it's just in hiding so the radio "bros" who like singing pop songs can't ruin it 😉

So true man, I saw Alan Jackson said a few weeks ago that country music is dead. He’s a legend but he’s dead wrong!

@@alexanderwondaal5592 yeah. Never was that into Alan Jackson or 80s and 90s mainstream stuff anyway. I like the rougher, more edgy stuff of the 60s and 70s outlaw and country rock guys.

I went to that concert and it was absolutely electric. Best show I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately when he came back to red rocks in 2021 it wasn’t very good. Still a huge fan and recommend seeing him live!
