Ok... I take everything I ever said back. Any man who professes his love for Brent like this is a winner in my book. If you ever need a kidney, I got you bro! Brent is my favorite child... I can not over state my love for Brent. Please for the love of god, start naming notes instead of degrees of the scale (hell, I'm pretty sure I didn't even use that terminology right). A Master delivering a Masterpiece. Jeff usually used Marshall 100 Watt 4X12 amp/cab but this looked like a fairly intimate setting. I would have thought an amp that powerful would blow up a room of this size (these are for open air stadiums), but this tone is incredible. IDK what he used here. Yes, his singing and playing are legendary, but that tone is the secret sauce. And oh yeah, he's blind. And he just did that.

I made it about two thirds of the way before I was in tears. Really makes you take stock of every careless word you’ve ever let loose. And you nailed the analysis. I have a serious problem with religion because it has all lost its way. No one seems to teach or even remember that the main idea of every religion is to love each other. The maxim of reciprocity, a.k.a. the Golden Rule, is found in every religion on the planet, usually in prohibitive form-don’t treat others in a way you wouldn’t want to be treated yourself. It predates Christianity by around 600 years. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” means in a given situation. Imagine yourself in the position of the other person and threat them accordingly. Very simple. Again, thank you and excellent job.

Man, it's so clear that broaching these subjects on air makes you uncomfortable. And you did it anyway. You took your time and gave an earnest and thoughtful response to this absolutely gorgeous song. I'm a man in my 40s now like you and (I suspect) Mr. Martin, and we all know what it's like to live in the comparison of our current and former selves. We understood so little about masculinity when we were younger, and in reaching for it we sometimes hurt the ones around us. Being better now means admitting that and learning from it. This is what being a good man (or human) looks like. Thanks for it.
