    I've had my Badlands bronco sport for about three weeks now and love it. Here's a factoid that might be of interest: on the facebook group for the vehicle I created a poll asking if your sport was purchased to be driven primarily by a male or female. Got about 500 responses. Result? 61% female.

    I have my Bronco Sport Badlands 2021 for 2.5 years now. All options. The first year model and it is 100% reliable. It is my best car ever. Every features is super and works perfectly consistently. Here in Canada Quebec. It drive like a charms in all road conditions, highway, open country, campground, snow, ice. It tows my 4x6 enclosed trailer easily. It accelerates 0-100km/h (60 miles) in 5.9 sec. Lot of torque 277 and hp 250. The audio system is very good the screen is capacitive super fast. Connectivity of phone apple carplay an android auto works perfectly. It easily manage two phone in the car to switch between my wife and I. The car feels super solid. The color orange cyber is very nice. I receive always compliments. The gas consumption is not that much more than my old pontiac vibe and it has twice the power. I have no issues with the gas mileage 9L on highway, 11-13L in winter with snow. In city i can get 10L with the eco mode. But i use it most of the time in normal mode with very responsive engine. And i didn’t mention the 360+ automatic driving, the 400w inverter the heavy floor mud resistant, heating wheel and seat very fast. Front seat driver with back support and passenger electric seat 6 way. A/c is very good and fast. It is my best car ever. Love it.

    You hit the nail on the head with the "made for people that want to go off roading, but don't need it." I LOVE the big Bronco, but would never use it for what it's made for. But the Baby Bronco is perfect for what I need: transport rugby players around, go camping/hiking/kayaking, but also do errands around a city. I'm picking mine up today and am so excited.

    You guys had a great overall review of this vehicle right up until you said it was for “city millennials” . I’m about to be a retired 59 year old teacher and I want this vehicle to travel the United States and enjoy nature at its best. Camping in the back and tailgating with the best of them!
    “Youngsters” have no clue what us “older folk” want. I taught my whole life, and contrary to what some people believe, tail end boomers do not always retire with a fat 401k or with the desire to sit out the rest of our lives at a bridge or mahjong table. I’m looking forward to living the life that I necessarily couldn’t when I was being a “responsible adult”. PS: I’m in Texas and so looking forward to traveling this great state and beyond!

      @@TexasTruckChannel One year update. I have had my Bronco Sport Badlands for a year and 31,000 miles, still loving it! Completed our Alaska trip that included driving up the Dempster Highway in Canada all the way to the Artic Ocean! Also the Bronco off Roadeo in Moab was a great experience. We also did several off road trails in Moab, the Bronco performed great! The only limiting factor was ground clearance. It was not traction. In our whole time off roading it barley slipped a wheel. Lastly , it not just for millenials, we are seniors (mid 60's) and it works perfectly for our lifestyle!

    I love this cactus color, and although it does have a square shape, the corners are rounded off and that softens it. Ok, I think this Bronco is pretty!!! I could see me driving this ONLY in town because I don’t off-road, but I could loan it to my sons who would love it! 😉

  • @fretless05

    Did you get a sense of how capable it is offroad? We live in Nevada, and there are a lot of parks in driving distance that include trails to features; Death Valley comes immediately to mind, as there are a ton of places only accessible by rough gravel roads or worse. We'd like a vehicle that can go to those places and still have daily driver safety features and comfort. If it's not too small, this seems like a decent fit.

    • @TexasTruckChannel
      @TexasTruckChannel  Před 3 lety +3

      Yes we got a good sense of its off road ability. This is one of the best options for your described uses shy of a full frame off roader. In the crossover game this is top notch. While it looks small from certain angles, the front seats are very comfy/roomy and the rear are on par with its competition. For two people going on an overland trip, its spot on. Thanks for watching.

    Had my Big Bend since October. Love it, love how high it sits up on the road. But, I don’t like the 7-10 wait for service in Austin. You have to leave it there for that long till your number comes up. They won’t let you make an appt! Crazy! Have any of you with the sport model seen the recirc button just intermittently go off? Two pretty serious recalls already. They told me not to drive it as much as possible till we get the parts in. No loaner cars.

    I'm shocked not a single review has remarked on the horrible visibility out of this vehicle. The windshield is extremely short from top to bottom, and there is a HUGE contraption the rearview mirror is attached to.... that I have no idea what purpose it serves.
    Other than that, I really like the vehicle. But the visibility just kills it for me.

    • @TexasTruckChannel
      @TexasTruckChannel  Před 3 lety

      Man I hate to hear that visibility is an issue for you. The vertical spacing (dash to ceiling) is not huge, but we didn't feel that it was particularly terrible. We drive so many cars that have that issue, we probably felt like it wasn't the worst. The plastic around the rear view mirror is odd, and that is for some of the forward facing sensors for the safety systems. Hang in there, the Bronco Sport is a great unit even with these issues. If a rear facing child seat is in your future, this is no mini van, but it will certainly get the job done.

    This Bronco Sport (BS) is the real deal, not the Big Fish 🐟 Story you tell your friends come Monday. Agreed, most people don’t need a land cruiser/wrangler/big Bronco gettin’ 14mpg. I think Ford is addressing the leisure market fir glamping and SAV, sport activity vehicle, sector with clever marketing 👱‍♀️. They addressed all the shortcomings of the Scubie-doo Forester and then 1 🆙 Subaru. I think it will do well in the baby boomer group as a second car (daily driver) or third car for the let’s note take the 8mpg RV - 2WD Sprinter. The BS infringes on so many levels to other manufacturers offerings . It’s like salt 🧂 in the kitchen? You didn’t know you needed it, until you had it…
