That skit was…off the wall!
RIP to all the boxes on the wall that fell over 😔
I’ve almost completely replaced my iPad with my Vision Pro. The only thing it hasn’t replaced yet is drawing, looks like that’ll be coming.
"🫨A butterfly I can almost feel" 😂😂😂love you bro
Honestly, Apple Pencil support on the Vision Pro would be pretty cool.
thats what fingers are for
I think there’s a greater than 50% probability that in 5 years the Apple Vision (Standard Edition) sales will be higher than iPad sales and in 10 years they won’t be selling iPads. I think the same thing for Smart Glasses (Apple Glasses/Vision Air and competitors) eclipsing smartphone sales in 8-10 years and the smartphone disappearing in 15 years. Look at the Immersed Visor that is going to be shipping in a couple months and imagine where the technology is likely to be in 8 years.
videos been looking a lot better whatever youve been doing keep doing it lol
I used a Note 10 (not the Note 10+) for a few years & can't overstate how useful the s-pen was. I'm a physics student & would sometimes spend hours using my phone as a notepad, scribbling the solutions to problems I was working on, & could open OneNote (my primary note taking program on my laptop) & make amendments/edits to what i'd previously jotted down. If the display of the Note 10 was as bright as phones released today i'd still be using it.
Just because your use-case doesn't call for the pen functionality in a phone doesn't mean it isn't blindingly useful to others.
I use S-pen daily in work. Mailnly using notes from lock screen. I would probably switch to Pixel years ago, but S-pen is the reason I still use Samsung phones.
I recently bought a galaxy fold 4 after 8 years of having iPhones and this is one of the most compelling things for me to want to switch to Android. I loved note taking on my iPad but it’s too big to carry around in my pocket and I’d have to pay extra for cellular. And I was able to set up blue bubbles on my MacBook so I can get iMessage on my fold as well. I just wish you could use Apple Card and iCloud on android; then I’d be switching all the way
@@fryball1443 Apple making everything proprietary is why I never entertained getting an iPhone (the last Apple device I bought was an iPod video & I hated the restrictive OS so much I didn't use it for long). Google pay, & other payment apps, work on pretty much everything, except iPhones. There's a plethora of cloud services to choose from, so iCloud has never been a consideration (I use Google Drive, & it acts as a link between my phone & laptop). Outside of north America no-one cares, or is even aware, of the blue/green bubble thing. We all use cross-platform messaging apps, so everyone has the same experience whatever phone you're using. Best to avoid ecosystems & opt for interoperability.
you lose me when you said draw on the wall 🤣
Im a student who uses an iPad for uni. The Vision Pro could never replace my iPad. How would you show others from your study group your notes quickly with the AVP? How can they quickly add a sketch to your notes? In courses there’d be no chance of my wearing the current avp as it’s to big.
AVP can’t replace it but can find it’s niche next to it.
The skit was hilarious 😂
Lots of schools still does not let you use computers in class so I can't imagine them being ok about wearing Vision Pro just like that, lol.
my school give me a computer also you could get put restrictions on vision
They should make a live subtitle + translation app for vision pro
Do you think they will add something like Mac OS or wait for devs to bring more Mac apps
Would you rather Apple vision pro had Mac OS or it just had most of the apps
The iPad will likely be an accessory to the AVP - like a window for others not in AVP to see your world through it like a window.
Or, it may serve as a coprocessor to offload computation or apps for the AVP like the Remote Desktop with a Mac does now.
Maybe it’ll serve as a touch/swipe interface for the AVP like a giant trackpad?
The skit is awesome:):)
The boxes... that hurt...
Aint no way they bringing over an iPad accessory to headset. They rather would want you to buy both an ipad with pencil and Vision.
Is that “wow” in the skit edited in? Sounds clean asf
In Vision OS 2 you’ll be able to drive around in a virtual Apple car and go grocery shopping in the instacart metaverse
As an iPad user, I would never switch to any kind of vr or ar device. I just don’t see the crossover. It’s the same way people think touchscreen laptops and foldable phones will kill the tablet. For some people they might, for the core audience there is nothing better.
The only advantage the iPad theoretically has over the vision pro is it can connect to a keyboard. For some (like myself), having a tablet-laptop hybrid is exactly what I need (musician/student, so "pro" apps are not an issue for me. Also, I prefer iPados over Mac/windows [too confusing for non-native users]).
I just wish it worked natively with a windows or Linux machine. Being a CS student, my MacBook is getting increasingly more useless because most applications we use, and operating systems we develop for is windows or Linux. Otherwise I’d jump for the Vision Pro in a heartbeat solely for having unlimited screens for my pc. I know this will never happen but one can hope 😢
@@fryball1443 there are apps like duet display which let you use your iPad as a second windows monitor. Usually iPados covers all the bases for me, but I can also use remote desktop to access a windows/Linux/macOS operating system if i need to (there's also services you can sub to if you don't have a windows/Linux machine)
The color picker will be wild
I want it!!!!GOOOOOOOD
I’m totally down with the avp getting its own Apple Pencil … it opens the possibility for tracked motion devices in the future not necessarily controllers for VR/AR…
But I totally want to use The AVP for 3d art … and sculpting /model making and a pencil would be perfect for that as for 2d applications like not taking or general pointing device things I only see this working if The VisionPro engineering team is willing to go full Wacom NotePad with it where the pen itself has inside out pressure sensitivity and motion sensitivity and in combination with the Vision Pros object tracking system you can write on a physical surface and virtual content will respond to it
Offcourse I don’t believe that the AVP 1 is a replacement for the iPad I think a future version can be especially if Théy develop the right accessories for it
And as always I’ll say i don’t think it’s a glorified dev kit it’s a first generation device meaning it’s still in development but it’s reached its mvp status (minimum viable product) meaning Apple could have waited and made a better speced product with a more refined design but it would be more expensive then what we have now or they could have made a cheaper version which will have a ton of shortcomings that they can add features on year by year but that would literally be them selling us unfinished prototypes… which Oculus did … before they became meta
Vision OS was a very big bet by Apple as it could cannibalize both the Mac and iPad products - if the hardware gets good enough and cheap enough it could be an all-in-one device for computing and media consumption. No more monitors, TVs or laptops to drag around. I would expect that the iPhone will remain, no matter what.
Don’t think so. I got the meta quest 3 after trying the Vision Pro and I can only use it for a few hours at a time then jump to my iPad.
the sales are fine from apple's perspective I suspect.
Headline: College buys Apple Vision Pro for every student to prevent cheating! 😂
GooodMORNINGGG
I expect if I get a Vision Pro it will replace my iPad.
Ok hear me out. I miss the black magic camera and I think your videos looked much nicer back when u had it.
I hear ya, but I’m not going back
Given Apple aren’t making standalone music players anymore & thus have a trademark going spare, they kinda missed a trick not calling the Vision Pro the “eyePod”…
I'm using S-pen daily in work. It's the main reason I bought S23 ultra. Just saying...
So, Apple chalkboard...
Apple Pencil for Vision Pro?
Nah, Apple ring. Use the Apple ring to create an “invisible” Apple Pencil or more like a paint brush. Easier and more convenient.
Hi
😂
Oh but you need to buy the 800 dollars 2024 iPad Pro to enjoy it. Because last year most powerful chip in the world can handle it.
First
No views in 26 seconds, man he’s really fallen off
Wait - why hasn't your apple fanboy self made like atleast 15 videos about the DOJ lawsuit yet? 😢
He has - he’s addressed it in a Livestream
I did an hour long stream on it
@@TailosiveTech sure, what about the 167 other videos you would spawn from this topic?
That’s all overrated
