In 2 years he won 2 Portuguese Leagues, 1 Portuguese Cup, 1 Portuguese SuperCup, the UEFA Cup (currently Europa League) the Super Cup and the Champions League.

Max Gonzalez hate his team (chelsea), but i gotta give the man credit where its due. He's a damn good manager, probably one of the best we will ever see. I think people will be able to look back at his career and use his name in the same breadth as Ferguson, Paisley, Busby, Michels, and Herrera.

Pete Davies I'm sorry but during those years I regularly saw domestic games for Portugal, England and Italy and the champions league. Man Utd was one of the favourites, had the best team and should have won, Porto was both exceptionally efficient and lucky. You are talking out of your ass.

As an ESL teacher, I must admit that his grasp at the English language is very, very good. He must have been a great, grateful student. I know he´s spent some time in England but so has Tevéz. Coming from a MUTD fan.

+Dušan Koloděj I'm Portuguese and I'm an ESL Teacher, and whereas I wont always get as well paid as a native English speaker, I'm a better English teacher than a lot of them. I'm also a UCL post grad, but I was fluent in English long before I stepped out of Portugal for the first time. The point being that educated Portuguese people, which is Mourinho's case, overall have a fairly good command of English. You can't use, say Cristiano Ronaldo, as a measuring stick, because Ronaldo is a part of the uneducated minority. Mourinho already had a good enough English long before arriving in England. He used to be Bobby Robson's translator in FCPorto, before becoming a manager. So if you ask me, yes he does have a really good English, but these many years into it, he's English should actually be even better than this. But then again it's football we're talking about, and I suppose that according to football standards he may just sound no short of shakespearean.

la liga teams are better than premier league teams, there's no doubt about that. But the premier league is more entertaining and competitive, thats what jose and everyone is saying
just look at the table and you'll see why PL is better.
Frank Lampard most of the teams in the la liga are considered "Easy" for the big teams like barca and real.....that is why la liga is not the best league in europe..the wins they had are practically "given" to them...but its different in the premier league...the smaller teams has a winning mentality that sometimes even big teams could lose....you say real or barca madrid would dominate the league...that maybe true...but im pretty sure in the long run they would lose sometime to a weaker teams like stoke city...in the pl a win is a never a sure thing...if real madrid were to play in the first season in pl they would probably win the league but in the second season i can bet it would be harder for them....that is why epl is wonderful....unlike that la liga.....its kinda boring watching la liga...i would rather watch qpr vs burnley than watching barca vs zaragoza because i already know who is going to win...the big teams rarely loses and the smaller teams usually give up in the second half....i use to follow madrid and i've seen that all the time..boring....the only match i anticipated is when they meet these two teams only...atletico and barca....sure there are times when these big teams would lose to a weaker team but that rarely happens....that is why they usually get 100 points and more than 100 goals...boring....i wish they would include madrid or barca in the premier league for two season...i would like to see what would happen....see what happens with di maria..he couldnt cope well with epl's intensity....i've seen him dribble past defenders and such and give good passes in madrid..but not here in the epl...he's guarded like hell and he couldnt move freely...and the same would happen to christiano or messi..i can bet you that these two wouldnt have the same goal scoring record they have with their respectives teams here in the epl...
Freddy Xinan I agree for a bit, but its also the playing style. la liga is so tactical, u wouldn't watch a game between levante and bilbao for example. The premier league is fast, about quick game play, quick intensity and the crowd plays such a big role in that. I would definitely watch any game. Not just about the big teams. All these derbies. The newcastle, liverpool, london, manchester, birmingham derbies are all amazing. The tough matches, even with stoke and west ham are good to watch.

Jose - born with a footballer & teacher as parents. I believe Jose when growing up, has a brain that's been sculptured from both sides of his parents, which combines the attributes that created his own very successful mentality as a manager. A very good & thorough tactician due to his dads experience, but also seems very psychologically sound in what/how people are thinking, man-managing, discipline & how to treat people, from his mothers side. 99% of the players when asked what they think of Jose is always very positive - his tactics, his training regime, his personality, his love for the game & his team... The best thing that has happened since Sir Alex Ferguson.
