Let's not forget what he achieved with Aberdeen...two European trophies, defeating the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, European Champions at the time Hamburg for the Euro Super Cup, Ipswich etc etc. That arguably is his greatest achievement. Aberdeen are still statistically the most successful Scottish club in European competition.

Kevin Davies For me it does'nt go on that.
Its the longjevide & Spectularness - Bob Paisley is most people were/are most in awe of when i ask at small footy games, who actually remember the times.
Yeah I'm sure Clough was Amazing & a close 2nd - but just not quite as Reassuring & Spectacular.
But on paper I agree its Fergie, Clough, Paisley, Shankly, Ramsey in that order

Just such an honour to have become a fan of this football club and under his management. This is why city and chelsea will never be as big no matter how good their squad is at the moment. United is a unique club, transformational from kids to superstars and a global brand not dependent FULLY on a massive transfer budget. A lot of you anti United fans will say we've spent heavily? Yes but where did that money come from? That's the difference.

i will say united never played super entertaining football like city do now, like arsenal did for some years under wenger, like the great rm teams, like Barcelona at times, like ajax in the late 60's and so on. Fergies attitude was winning at all cost. primitive style and very primitive behavior at times from this person

Thank you very much for the subtitles. I'm learning English and I don't think there's something as helpful as watch English speaking with subtitles. I know it should have been a quite busy task. I'll be waiting for more. Also many thanks to the people who are coming up with corrections.

Measure of the character of the man right there, humble to his core. Strong morales, best manager ever. Pompey fan.

luca ceccarelli I see. Well Paulo DiCanno had no problems when he played for Celtic understanding us, and I even hung out with him. I guess to educate yerself watch a few Billy Connolly or even sean connory interviews that have the subtitles.......then watch a local thing we have like chewing the fat to understand the street slang we have :)
