''how do we stay number one?''
''play and train as if you're number two''
wow.
Death Rager in so doing one won’t get carried away for sure.
Stolen from Maurice Greene
What I want to know is how can we be 2ND last season n come right back to 6th place this season n can anyone tell me if manunited have ever played Nottscounty in there time of playing
Its a good sound bite , but id hope he would have expanded on his answer , and sure he did , as SAF wouldnt be that easily impressed
Seriously. Wat an answer to give during an interview. No wonder Sor Alex is GOAT
The Story of Sir Alex Ferguson deserve a Movie
His book is a great read, would love to see it made into a movie.
I'd like to buy the ticket now, if it's possible
When he dies they will
It will show how much if cheating, warlord of a tryant he was. Kicking off rival managers, haranguing refs. Basically throwing his dummy and having strops if things weren't going his way.
moondee lundee it’s called passion you bellend. Anyway from 2006-2013 25+ major decisions (red card offences, penalties, offside goals etc) went against United. Loser managers act like robots and don’t win anything because they don’t have that fire in them. Anyway klopp harangued refs for years so did Mourinho and Wenger and the worst of all Alan Pardew.
He found the balance between treating his players humanely and not letting anyone's ego overshadow his authority.
AceLinkFPS but at the same time he fell out bad and got rid of vital players because of his ego.
@The Flying Scotsman What do you mean “fell out bad.”
Beautifully put
@@Jonathan-pg2hd and still won without them
Liverpool supporter here. We have Klopp and he's out of this world but SAF was from a different planet. 49 trophies FFS !!!
JOE GHADDAR
Same here, I’m a Liverpool fan and I have to agree. SAF is a living legend, to our detriment unfortunately, but you’ve got to tip your hat to what he did and how long he did it for. Remarkable really.
I’m a Tottenham fan so I don’t know what silverware feels like
@@Ben-ng3og maybe the cabaro cup semi finals
@@hellom8490 well get to the final and the get embarrassed by united or city
Its kinda funny how you became a supporter when they started to win stuff🤦♀️😐
Sir Alex. The true Godfather of Football Management. He brought a team back from the dead to be the most successful team. He won his last season with a team that shouldn't of won, let alone win the league by 11 points. He is truly a football genius
He is indeed irreplaceable
Love how every time someone does a film on sir Alex aberdeen gets overlooked go and see what he did with aberdeen a small team in the northeast of Scotland and turned them into one of the best teams in the world that to me is a bigger thing then anything he did at Utd won it all with aberdeen with 11 Scottish lads beating teams like Bayern Real Madrid . It’s so annoying how it gets overlooked yes he did something special at Utd but Utd where a big team and expected wins he took aberdeen from noting to the world stage
It wasn't in the last interview /documentary I saw can't remember what it was called
Spot on this mate....he is a great for what he did with Aberdeen....what he did with Utd only re-affirms it
Like Ole has done with Mold. Not as successful but a good indication I feel
@@howardchambers9679 oh please.
@@7adit7 what? If you don't agree at least make the effort to make a counter argument.
Best manager ever. Miss the glorious days when SAF was in charge of MUFC. #From a Manchester United fan.
Zwe Paing Htet Me too. Its not even the fact we've gone downhill so much since he left. Its just like since he left the job along with the last of the 90s old guard, the club soul is gone with them. Zlatan and Pogba still carry the torch though!
Zwe Paing Htet Agreed. man u fan here as well
Overrated? Clearly haven't watched him play football in a Utd shirt this season.
Basically it's called performance pay. They're able to pay that much to players because of the revenue the players create. He's probably made the club over half of that back just in shirt sales. He's played fantastic in the majority of the games this season and is highly regarded as one of thee most influential midfielders on the planet at such a young age.
He has not played fantastic in the majority of games this season, in fact he has been mediocre at best and occasionally showed what kind of player he could be.. yes he might be highly regarded in certain circles but one of the three most influential midfielders on the planet lol, stop pulling fairy stories out of your arse and get real ffs. Agreed on the shirt sales though, but that is irrelevant on the pitch.
Not a Manc Utd fan at all, but you have got to respect and admire the man.........Manc Utd were blessed to have him.
Who do you support?
The reason why other fans hate us ! His teams shamed others in the EPL! Truly the boss !
@@stelun56
So very well put
I actually started "hating" MU after his retreat. Because of his toxic fanbase thinking they are the best when obviously are not even in the top 4. MU have became what LFC used to be
Carlos VG so that makes sense to hate a massive club ? Wat ? That makes no sense,Hate City or Chelsea the cancers of our league
What about the brown envelopes 'sir' fergie used to give to refs for favours. He did this by wearing a g-thong and a kilt crawling to the refs behind and seductively placing the brown envelope (with 20 pounds cash inside) by neatly placing it between the refs butt cheeks. Liverpool also dominated u dont see them becoming the most hated??? U need to get your head out fantasy land cos every ManureUrine marinated fan is deluded by default. Bet u fans jerk real hard when manure players dive and ref gives a penalty. ✊💦🤤
@@amajeet Agreed. They complain that Chelsea bought the league, meanwhile they score in the 96th minute while 4 minutes are added on.
If SAF made Lee Sharp sell his dog, car and break up with his girlfriend back then. I wonder what he would done to current United team always on social media all the time?
That’s why he stopped , it was not his world and the fact that he was getting older and dealing with this was simply unhealthy …I’m sure lingard and Pogba would never play for United if he was still there
@@mariovh yeah.
@@mariovh facts
@@mariovh that's why he let Pogba go to Juventus - he knew that he would be a drama queen from early ages
@@mariovh Oh.. is that why then.. cheers Mario. Its brilliant when you are able to speak to sombody who knows all the detailed stuff, and is able to tell us exactly what he did and why.. anyway.. how long have you known sir Alex for ? Obviously when did you both speak about this ?
As a life long NUFC Fan. I can not disagree with any of this.. A True football Genius .. Kudos Sir Alex...
Just the greatest manager of all time, won everything multiple times in the game and made football feel special. Yes I'm a Liverpool fan and yes I am jealous of the success UTD had, but beyond all that rivalry and banter, possibly even hate from some fans, the respect IS there from both sets of fans. It's what makes both clubs the top two in England, the sheer passion for football and desire to be the best. Fergie had such a monumental task when he arrived at UTD, but he achieved what many thought was impossible, so fair play to him and UTD.
Cant believe a bindipper said this Redspect
shankley, ferguson, clough. 3 kings
i'm not disagreeing with that, not trying to start a debate was just saying he was a class manager, he even said himself he wished he had more European success. Guess no manager is perfect
@ShiftCtrl85 ok fair enough
Yep he did so much easier to win them days when you played 4 rounds to get to the final, and you played teams from eastern europe that never get into the champions league these days.
anybody who supports Manchester United to date cannot forget Sir Alex Ferguson and what he did for this big club personally 2008 was the year i cant forget
arguably fergusons greatest achievment was breaking the stranglehold of the old firm would love to see someone do it again
Deano bang on that pal. Quality management.
Deano great comment
And knocking liverpool of there purch lol
Tony Marshall nah no chance sadly mate
Break it? He fkin smashed it mate.
I am Portuguese, Porto hardcore supporter but Man Utd has a special place in my heart ever since the class of 92 and SAF was and always will be my vision of what a manager is and needs to be. The BOSS. Also this times are just like a fairytale with Ronaldo Back home and Fergie still alive to see it.
I wonder what our history would have been without SAF's 25 years...Thank god we have him, a true Genius and a great guy.
@@godsdisciple4893 fucking hell mate you just took delusional to whole new level you Scouse rat
He is irreplaceable. Forever legend. Respect from a Man United fan.
Will never be another Ferguson again. Sure you may have a manager who might break his trophy record, but to come a big club at such a young age and get given the time he needs to create a footballing supergiant will never be repeated. He will always be remembered as the reason united are the biggest club in the world
There is no way Leicester would have won the league if SAF was still manager at United. Not a chance.
In that season United would have already won the titile by the end of march.
I'd say Ferguson would have won the league in 15/16 and 16/17 (possibly 13/14 as well) if he was still in charge. By far the best manager of all time. Managing a big club for 27 years was never an easy task.
Blackburn Rovers won the league when he was manager
Selectric So did Arsene Wenger,Jose Mourinho and Roberto Mancini But when u think of it that's not a lot of challenge in 27 yrs is it.
Selectric Yeah by doing what man city and chelsea did, they bought the league in 1995 and nearly lost out to utd
Funny to hear about Bruce's phone going off being such a big deal, and Denis owning a phone which he never turned on! What a job managers must have now keeping players off phones for 2 minutes!
Exactly.
Sir Alex is one of the greatest manager of all time... he turn man utd around...with discipline and thats all it takes....bravo to Mr Alex...im by the way liverpool fan
I love the phrase that he was value conscious not image conscious, sums it up perfectly for me
Absolute genius. I feel so lucky that I was 9 when we won that first FA cup in 1990. It was the start of the journey which coincided with the start of my infatuation with football and United!
What gives a person that kind of drive and steel? Amazing.
As an Arsenal fan i respected Fergie so much because of his relation with Wenger and they was title rivals for 10 years. He knew what was going on in the game and he was always 2 steps in front.
Just started this video but I already know it's going to be a good watch. Love this man. One of a kind.
The charisma let him do all those things and prevail
I hate that some people forget this Legend now and days
You can tell just looking at the guy that he is a great man.
The best manager of all times 🙏🙏🙏
hes such a phenomenal manager. loved watching him every time
Absolute genius not one person can say he's not the best manager to grace the game
Greatest manager ever in the history of football👌❤

Legend is a huge Understatement
Excellent video, thanks for uploading... Carl
After United win against psg? I love this game
Lee sharpe had to break up with his girlfriend and sell his dog haha
Liam Jam why tho?
Lee SHarp was young and a bit of a party animal. The boss felt he needed more structure and supervision so back to digs with him. It didn't work in the long run.
this is why Sir Ales sell D.Beckham to R.Madrid even he wont go anywhere...bcause sir alex want his player focus for football..if sir alex coaching man utd right now,im sure the 1st one he will kick is Paul Pogba..why? he is the social media player instead football
Arman Japa thats why pogba never played for man utd in sir alex era
Stewie Griffin he did

Get well soon Sir Alex,🙏🏽❤️⭐️ prayers from Arsenal fans to you 🙏🏽❤️❤️ Beat manager ever we,shall see.A leader of men and true man ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙏🏽❤️
Arsenal would be the most successful club if Liverpool had hated them but the fact we hate mancs is the very reason they are classed as successful. The enemy of my enemy is my friend ? Would've liked to see what this cheat would've won without the FA's help.
This video was all to quick, I could listen 👂 to the stories about Sir Alex all day long, the great 👍 mans a genius regarding his football ⚽️ man management skills and how he accomplished his trophy 🏆 laden years at Aberdeen and Man United. ⚽️👍🏴
From now on I shall call my naps "controlled recovery periods".
You have to have done something to recover from first though!
I love it
Thanks for uploading. This should be shown in all schools. The youth need to learn about how one man dedicated himself to a cause and wanted nothing for it. These are prides of our nation and I remember going to my parents home country (Bangladesh) as a youth and all the kids knew about Man UTD and the legendary Sir Alex who was like the boss of all bosses and had the team on point. They also admired the fact he stopped many players from drinking (Bangladesh is mostly Muslim country) heavily and how the team went on to spectacular things because of it.
Arsenal fan here but Sir Alex you are a hero of football and ambassador for hard work and determination. God bless you and your family.
We miss you BOSS !!! G.O.A.T

@@Ben-ud7ze Birming who?
@oh yeah yeah you probably run around trolling MUFC fans now, but you miss the point....
Hes on a 3 year contract and still has a team that he inherited, not built up. He put forward a 3 year plan to turn the club around.
Once he brings in players and gets rid of a few others then he will have his team that he built and to be judged upon
Brandon Friedman OGS is not good enough, just another yes man. Real problem is the owners, followed by Woodward followed by players. 3 headed shitstorm we've got ourselves in
Brandon Friedman IT FEELS FUCKING SHIT.
Very insightful, for real success it shows you players need a healthy respect for a manager rooted in fear.
Wonderful manager. He had total control, a decent man and also had a business sense of Manchester United. So intelligent, shrewd and intelligent. He made all the right decisions. Pure class. He would still have a winning team today and he really cared about everyone. I learnt so much from him
Not a united fan at all, but as a football fan you cant deny what this guy did for this club and the modern game
A "winning cycle" lasts 5-10 years, best case scenario. Players went by but SAF winning cycle lasted for decades.
Legend
Sir Alex
The greatest football manager the World has EVER seen!!! #Fact
Quick recovery Fergie 🙏🙏🙏
He had homegrown stars (the 92 boys)
He had superstars (Ronaldo, Van Nistelrooy, Van Persie)
But his success is defined by assembling them with hidden gems and lower string players that did all the dirty work and are always hungry to win (Vidic, Solskjaer, Valencia, Park, Evra,Hernandez to name a few)
Get well soon Sir Alex... we miss you... Living legend ;-)

The Greatest ❤️
My all time managers are Matt Busby, Alex Ferguson, Jock Stein, Tele Santana, Rinus Michels, Arrigo Sacchi, Johan Cruyff and Bill Shankley. If I had a dream team I would have Jimmy Murphy as Academy manager, Cruyff as Academy head coach, Busby as sporting director, Stein as manager, Ferguson as assistant manager, Santana as head first team coach, and then I would have 3 or 4 specialist coaches; Michels and Sacchi being the two specialist tactical coaches and I would have Bill Shankley as motivational specialist coach and maybe Brian Clough to assist him. If I'm feeling really greedy I might have Karl Rappan as a specialist defensive coach, Tommy Docherty as a specialist attacking coach, Wenger as a specialist in failure, joking, Wenger, Bielsa, Rijkaad, Mourinho, Guardiola, Paisley, Coerver, Lippi and Meulensteen as non first team managers. I think they would have the best players and youth development and win everything for 1000 years
And Clough? Took two teams in the lower half of old second division to league titles, and took one of the them from second division to European Cup in 4 years.
@@simonboughey5246 Yeah Clough too. I mentioned him.
A statue of him should be built on top of Old Trafford overlooking the pitch.
Great. Respect.
Oles...Direction...lets support it...
Watching Man Utd losing at half time you just know they gonna turn it around after that half time talk with him
The greatest ever manager SIR ALEX
The greatest manager of all time his acumplishments will never be matched
Livin' LEGEND!Right there beside Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley as far as managers go.
Better than paisley and shankly combined
The players played for him more then MU because of his man

Best coach of all time...hands down
Would Fergie have taken a division 3 side in the bottom 3 to 2 time European champions inside 4 years with no money?? Not in a million years. Only one man has ever done that. Mr Brian Clough and that will never happen again pal that I can promise you 😊🔴⚪UTF⭐⭐
Sir " Alex" the greatest manager ever.......
Where I stay in Glasgow there’s a chip shop, across the road from that chippy is nice wee council terrace house, a few weeks after Man U won the champions league in 2008 I was delivering the Sunday papers to one of these terrace houses and Sir Alex answered the door.. he had been up for a drink with his old school friend and ended up staying for the night..
Total gentleman, still got the photos
Man United fan from being a young boy.Troubled times with the current set up, but NOBODY can take away the ride we had with Sir Alex.No matter which path Alex would have chosen - manager of BT, B&Q John Lewis or The Dogs Trust, the end result would be the same. Astounding Success.Like him or loathe him, you should feel privileged to have seen the master at work.Nice to see some Arsenal and Liverpool fans donning their caps to the great man. Both great teams with great fans that appreciate success and history. Good luck to both of you (good window for Gunners) and well done to Liverpool for winning Champions League.Best to all.Paul.
best manager east stirling ever had.no doubt about it.
If you watch how Fergie built his team, it's was the blue print left behind by Sir Matt Busby
Top dog.a magician. A man with bull dog faith.I will forever salute u Feggie.......
Nothing but respect. I’m a Newcastle fan and I hated him during the early premier league years but everyone must admire what he achieved.
Leeds fan here . Some years ago Sir Alex brought a Man U team including Beckham and Scholes to play Northern Counties East side Selby Town on the occasion of their 60 th anniversary , Walked past me at half time behind the goal...closest I've been to a football legend . A true football man .Remember seeing Beckham's Ferrari outside the tiny ground ..wonder what AF made of that .Beckham and Scholes were the big draw of course , both very down to earth and conducted themselves impeccably . Respected that humility ever since . No Man U hate from me .
The bartender won the thief back in Aberdeen : )) local boy in the photograph :)) can't smoke cigarettes in there now Sir Alex and £10 a pint 😢😢😢😢😢tough on civi street but that's the way it is thanks Manchester United for the inspirations and the influence :)) x x x x x God I love ya hope ya well :)
Sir Alex, was the best ever and the last of the dominant managers.
Wenger was the last to leave. We replaced him with a Director of Football, Raul Sanllehi. Managing Director, Vinai Venkatesham. Sporting Director, Edu Gaspar (former player) and finally our Manager, Unai Emery. Wenger and Ferguson must of been geniuses to be able to do all the work they was doing and stay at the top of the game at one club for 22+ years! Crazy when you think about it 🤔😯
What a grafter, never stops.
No one will break Sir. Alex record in the entire world.. Good job Fergie, miss U alot.. DavidUnited Hauzel.
