A fantastic morning around Summerseat for the East Lancashire Railway's 'Legends of Steam' Gala, featuring a true all star lineup of locomotives.
- BR Standard Class 7 No. 70000 "Brittania", visiting from LSL's fleet.
- LNER Class A4 No. 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley", visiting courtesy of the Sir Nigel Gresley Locomotive Trust.
- LMS Jubilee No. 45690 "Leander", which has been seeing out the final months on its boiler ticket at the ELR, with it supposedly returning to Carnforth for overhaul in May.
- L&YR Class 23 No. 11305, a member of the ELR home fleet recently renumbered from 51456.
