Trains at Preston 10/4/2024 (ft. 45407 "The Lancashire Fusilier")

A wet morning at Preston to see LMS Black 5 No. 45407 "The Lancashire Fusilier" on an ECS move from the East Lancashire Railway to Carnforth in preparation for the Great Britain XVI railtour. The 5 really puts on a show here, passing through the station with an almighty whistle that echoes through the covered station. Other highlights include 68005 "Defiant" passing through with a little bit of thrash, although this was a bit too low pitched for my camera and pick up well, and 88005 "Minerva" passing through with the Tesco train bound for Mossend.

Great video. I really like Preston Station, but normally only stop there when passing through or visitimg Ribble Steam Railway

Thanks for watching, I don't go to Preston very often myself, this is only my second time visiting, but yes it's a nice station, with the added bonus that you won't get wet on rainy days like this one
