Haha, yes, I had doubts about going at first because it would be busy . But although very busy, I always managed to get a seat when I wanted one, although only went as far as Bewdley and Highley. Bewdley platform was packed and uncomfortable in the afternoon, when I had to change trains, and there were 3 in the station

I will certainly be back for their steam gala in September. It was a shame to hear about a few incidents caused by the crowding - reportedly two fights yesterday, one at Kidderminster that resulted in someone being pushed off the platform onto the track, and then a less serious altercation at Hampton Loade that involved quite a lot of shouting and threatening but nothing physical. But for the most part, everyone I came across was very nice and civil, just a few idiots ruining it for everyone else
