"We Will Have To Fight Russia" British Colonel Predicts Chilling End To Ukraine Conflict

  • The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has reached a critical point, with both sides locked in a fierce battle amid a harsh winter. Former British Army Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon sheds light on the situation, highlighting the static fighting, precision-guided artillery strikes, and attacks on civilian infrastructure.
    As the world's attention is diverted elsewhere, de Breton-Gordon emphasizes the importance of Western countries, particularly the UK and NATO, maintaining their focus on Ukraine to avoid a potential war with Russia. The recent escalation in attacks raises concerns about the future and the possibility of Western allies sending troops to Ukraine.
    In the past week, Russia has intensified its attacks on Ukraine, prompting a swift response from Ukrainian forces. De Breton-Gordon explains that Russia had been stockpiling precision-guided drones and missiles, which they are now unleashing in an attempt to force Ukraine's hand.
    Despite Ukraine's effective air defence, Russia sees an opportunity for victory and is throwing everything it has into the conflict. With Ukraine barely hanging on, President Zelensky urgently requests more ammunition and air defence missiles. The upcoming elections in Western countries also add to the complexity, as politicians may reconsider their support for Ukraine.

      Russia never advanced anywhere for like 8 months straight except towards Moscow. If Ukraine had 10% of what Russia had they would have won this war long ago. They have destroyed 75% of Russia's arsenal and caused 350 thousand Russian casualties. Unfortunately NATO doesn't want Russia to lose because if they lose outright it would mean regime change and they are afraid who may come after Putin or afraid he may launch nukes. They should have been all in from day 1. Putin wouldn't have invaded if NATO built up troops on the border from day 1

      These are the words of an ostrich. Back in the real word, with heads out of the sand, far from all wars are wars of choice to every participant. Often the only choices are (i) war now vs. (ii) war tomorrow vs. (iii) subjugation and destruction of ones life. Therefore, every human being on the planet except a _tiny_ minority of very extreme pacifists "advocates war" in certain imaginable and possible situations. Yet if/when the war happens, they can't all be "on the front line" as wars are not fought on the front line only. An unsupported front line is an intrinsically absurd concept. Wars are resource hungry undertakings. Who supplies the resources to those on the front line?

      NATO and Ukraine need to face reality. They thought economic sanctions would collapse Russia. They got all the oil and gas, cola minerals they need. What part of Russia is a "dictatorship" do too many people not understand?
      'Dictatorships...' don't even allow their own people to speak out, or know the truth!
      So why on earth would think for a moment they would tell "you" the truth?

      If a Russian person even calls this a 'war...' they can face upwards of "10 years" or more in jail, or worse be murdered by the regime. Putin has said this 'war...' has to be called a "special military operation."
      Russian soldiers are brutalised, lied to and tortured by their own government. The families how lose loved ones, few get the death payments promised them, and soldiers themselves are left often with no pay or weapons with substandard equipment, which left many to freeze to death in winter.
      There are no free fair elections in Russia under Putin - all free media and political opposition has been shut down, journalists, politicians and ordinary people - imprisoned or murdered!
      Many have been taken in by Russian disinformation: by the way it was Russia under Stalin and the KGB in 1923 which arrived at the concept and coined the word 'disinformation!' They even gave it a Western sounding name, so we would more easily adopt it... so that worked?
      Putin has murdered "100 000s" of people in Chechnya, Georgia, Syria, Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine and elsewhere in the world.
      Syria, was a people's uprising as a result of the Arab Spring, which began in Tunisia in 2010, as a result Assad slaughtered peaceful protesters with gunships. The people fought bravely for years, but when Damascus was about to fall, Assad called in Putin. Assad and Putin then murdered "100 000s" of people, dropping bombs on children in their schools, burning them alive!
      In Russia itself, if people even call the Ukraine Russia War, a "war..." they can face up to "10 years" in jail, or if someone is a high profile politician or public figure, then can be imprisoned or even murdered.
      A recent UN stated the in a terror campaign orchestrated by Putin... "children" as young as '4' years old are being tortured and raped.
      We must act to stop this, and support the people of Ukraine to ensure this ends... in defeating the Putin Regime this could be a turning corner for humanity, in our search to end war, and all injustice?

      If NATO troops went into battle with Russia, since the Russians are clinging desperately to their much vaunted Surovikin Line, {RIP Suroovikin} that was built to protect the Russians from the Ukrainians, I really believe that the last thing on the minds of the Russians will be to raise an armed response from Russia on any other NATO countries. They will be trying to cover their a$$3s from the buck-shot as they flee back to their own borders.
      Consider Russia's real capacity.
      Russian T-14 Amata Tanks.
      "According to TASS on August 22, 2023, sources within the military-industrial complex confirmed that the T-14 Armata tank will finally enter into its finalization phase, which is the process of completing or perfecting the development, design, and production of a vehicle to render it prepared for operational deployment."
      {Note: "The T-14 was first unveiled in 2015. The Kremlin ordered production of 2,300 of the tanks by 2020, but this was later stretched to 2025, according to Russian media reports." There have been about two dozen built to date. (Jan 2024)}
      "A total of 2,300 MBTs expected to be supplied by 2020, modernizing 70 percent of the Russian tank fleet. The Uralvagonzavod plant was expected to roll out around 500 T-14 Armata tanks per year. In 2017, the order was scaled back to a test batch of 100 tanks by 2020, with the program extended to 2025."
      "In January, British military intelligence reported Russian forces in Ukraine were reluctant to accept the first tranche of the tanks because of their “poor condition”.
      {Having to be towed from Red Square during a parade would, presumably, not have enhanced its reputation.}
      "It also said any deployment of the T-14 would likely be “a high-risk decision” for Russia and one taken primarily for propaganda purposes.
      “Production is probably only in the low tens while commanders are unlikely to trust the vehicle in combat,” the British military said.
      “Eleven years in development, the programme has been dogged with delays, reduction in planned fleet size, and reports of manufacturing problems.”
      "The T-14 was first unveiled in 2015. The Kremlin ordered production of 2,300 of the tanks by 2020, but this was later stretched to 2025, according to Russian media reports."
      Apparently, there are still only a few dozen that have been produced.
      "To address various problems, Russia also decided to restart the production of the T-80 combat tank {first produced in 1980}, a Soviet-era model, mainly due to its performance in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The T-80 has shown certain capabilities useful for the Russian Armed Forces, offering valuable insights into their potential usefulness. They have also introduced a new variant of this, the T-80BVM in 2023."
      {Is it possible that the lack of availability of electronics, chips and other components, previously supplied by "Free World" {West aligned} sources have influenced the decision to revert to the T-80 tank variant ? I believe that may be so.}
      138 JOURNAL OF INDO-PACIFIC AFFAIRS
      JULY-AUGUST 2023
      India Takes a Step Away from the Russian Defense Industry Matthew Stein
      Abstract
      India and Russia have had a long-standing security cooperation partnership, with India relying heavily on Russian weapons and equipment for its armed forces. However, Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi launched the Make in India initiative in 2014 {interesting year date} to develop the country’s defense industry and reduce dependence on imports. The war in Ukraine has caused India to accelerate this process and end negotiations or cancel agreements with Russia on several weapon system acquisitions. Indian officials cited Russia’s logistical problems in delivering new systems as the reason for the cancellations. This article examines how the conflict in Ukraine has impacted one of Russia’s key security cooperation partnerships and how India’s defense industry is developing to produce replacements for these systems. The study provides insights into the challenges and opportunities for India to achieve its goal of self-reliance in defense production.
      The End.

Putin has never indicated any firm intention of re-incorporating the Baltic countries, Byelorussia is a firm ally, the old Polish-Lithuaninan commonwealth is long gone, the modern Poland is a totally different entity both ethnically and geographically than it was at that time... As for Finland, they've gone their own way since before World War II, Putin and the Russians have never indicated they were interested in pursuing an invasion or conquest of the country. The Pacific and Atlantic Oceans weren't going to protect us then and wouldn't now if things broke bad. It is beyond shameful that now we can't even muster the consensus to provide military aid (much of the funding actually helps us employ our own to build up a more modern weaponry for ourselves while we send our old military stock to Ukraine). We aren't being asked to go or send our young, only help Ukrainians fight to preserve the order we set up after WWII., freedom and supporting democracy..and we won't help defend it with material support this year. That's shameful and cowardly and absurd. There is a cost to doing something, yes, but there is also a cost to not doing it. The cost of not pushing back against Putin can eventually be American lives, both pampered and not....like WWII. Speaker Johnson is a disgrace.

    With a British soldier being so out of touch one can only ask what has happened to a British army that once defeated the Zulus (who were only armed with sticks and spears).

      My point is that British intelligence was just as dumb in 1865 as it is in 2024. Then, they thought the Zulu were mere savages; now they forget that the Russians have routed west Europeans three times since 1812!

      And who started this? Russia annexed Crimea in 2014, 100 years after the start of WW I, then invaded Ukraine wholesale in Feb 2022, expecting an easy victory. What they got was slaughter. Now we are in stalemate, with 650 miles of trench warfare on the frontline in Ukraine. The Western Front in WW I by comparison had only 450 miles of trenches. WW I ended when the Americans jumped in and brought a million fresh troops to the fight. I predict something similar in Ukraine. History repeats, we are solidly in the fourth turning. Google it, and read the goddam book.

    Crimean peninsula 2014 (forcefully taken and occupied in in a couple of months?)
    Ukraine 2022 -
