  • Is Galway the Best Night Out in Ireland? I take to the streets of Galway to ask the people of Galway themselves!
Galway in Ireland is known for its amazing Nightlife. But does Galway have the best nightlife in all of Ireland? I went to County Galway, Ireland to find out.

Interesting that some Galway people's accents sound really close to an American accent, especially the first girl. I don't think I would have known she was Irish just from her accent.

Lot's of young Irish people, girls in particular, have accents heavily influenced by the media. I'm Irish and I regularly mistake young women for Americans these days (they don't always have the new exaggerated California type American accents, they have like a 1990s/early 2000s General American accent). This wasn't the case when I was younger, people had local accents or 'RTÉ/Southish Dublin' accents. Nowadays genuine local ones are becoming rarer among the young middle classes. Media. Notions. I don't know.
