  • Is Cork the real Capital of Ireland? I take to the streets to ask the people of Cork themselves!
It is widely agreed amongst Cork people, that Cork is the true Capital of Ireland. Do Cork people really believe that though? I went to County Cork, Ireland to find out.
What do you think though? Is Cork the real capital of Ireland? Comment below and let me know!

@@dior096 I heard about his chat with the radio station talking about the Homeless. He lost his brother in a motorcycle accident 11 years ago. His father passed away don't know if it was a stroke or Heart attack from years of smoking. His mother died when he was small might be cancer not a 100 % on it. He has a older sister called Catherine who now lives in Kerry don't know what part. She has tried to help Garry over the years but it was difficult because she had two small kids. Gary was hooked on class A drugs and people were after him. His cause of death i don't know. I just know he was the homeless man found dead in carpark cross the road from bus station. Shame really because he was a lovely person who just went down the wrong road with the wrong crowd.

Cork drove out the British and achieved independence. Today Dublin make political decisions for Cork which Cork people hate, hence why this "Republic of Cork/Cork is the capital" thing came about. Cork people feel they have the right to make their own decisions. For example local politicians in Cork tried to change the names of a few streets in Cork because they had British names like Victoria cross (Queen Victoria was Queen during the Irish famine), but of course Dublin would not allow it because they didn't want to be seen as anti British so we can keep our neighbors happy

Gas as always keep it up lads☘, Dublin an Cork have both been largely influenced an expanded by Viking cultures to spark their growth but when I talk to some Cork heads they claim Dublin was more heavily influenced by foreign forces an they have kept more of the ole Gael ways so should be considered the better capital. Good banter regardless.😂

The Irish are funny just by being themselves. At 47 years of age, i believe they are one of the most loved people of the western world. Everyone seems to like them.

Cork is similar to Belfast, we both believe we are the capital of the world, and we are both right, and Dublin is wrong!

Would the reason be that if Cork would have not started to rebel, Ireland still would be under English rule? Does it make sense?
