Hey guys!!!!! The only part of the original Elizabethtown remaining are those stone walls which was a boarding house. All those buildings and other items have nothing to do with the original Elizabethtown. If you were to have looked around in and around those walls you would find charred pieces of wood that were part of the boarding house.

Had to laugh at the woman who said the south siders has classier people living there no dear they just think they are I was on the dart and believe me the brats from the local schools have no manners and very rude they are so pretentious and they put on a false American accent so cringe to hear them speak I couldn't understand what they were saying all the middle aged ladies look ths same with silly golf gear and boring blonde bob hairstyles Something I noticed as I counted about 12 lookalikes on the train going to dalkey I visited Dublin last year on my hols I loved the north siders they are super characters and great craic and have great personalities unlike the southsiders The liberties area is amazing beautiful place full of history, culture and character People from there are salt of the earth lively and funny no pretentiousness As a tourist all the south has to offer is the lovely scenery and beaches But unfortunately not the wannabe snobs

I love the accent. They used to say Mayo God Help Us. Maybe because some of the land was poor and hilly. Cromwell did say to Hell or to Connacht. The English took the best land in the Midlands and elsewhere. Mayo is awesome today, on all levels.

I find every town or village is unique and most people living there adopt their accents from those living around them. The Kilkerley guy being a classic example. Dis toeilly bout de Dudawk accent.
