I was born in 1970 and I feel so lucky cause I grew up watching Diego in the 80's.. He was just unbeliavable. There will never be another Maradona. I can't imagine how big he would be if he played today with better training. Long live Diego, you are a legend. You are the best ever.. God Bless you, we all love you so much.

I think that passing most of the day since baby with the ball you learn a lot of things about it.
I mean that things like these are not learned in academies or at training but playing in the street with friends or also alone.

Argentina played such a great game, but Brazil did so as well, but Maradona was 50% the team, and with his great inteligence, put Caniggia (one of the best rightwing Argentina ever had) and he did put the ball inside the brazilian net, and bye cariocas.
Also, the Brazilians used a lot of foul tactics on Maradona in that match. This was the one time he didn't get fouled, and he ran through the entire defense.

Never understood what Pele, Messi and CR7 were doing up there anyway. Good players, obviously, but not like this. The only two I'd consider are Luiz Nazario and Ronaldinho. At their peaks they were on another level too. To me is Diego first, Nazario second and Ronaldinho third.
