I come from Naples and I was lucky enough to be a boy when Maradona joined our team. I had many chances to see him play live and I must say that perhaps Maradona's greatest skill, which neither this fantastic video can show, is that he had the capacity, with his charisma and his generosity, to transform even the worst players of his team (and Napoli for example had many mediocre players at that time) in very good players...
That's one of the many important aspects that so so so many people fail to factor in or understand. You can't measure inspiration and leadership ability, but no one else could do those things better. Players merely compare in an aspect or two sure. He was and still is, light years ahead not only technically, he was world's away in aspects that can't be measured.
