Whether it’s steep technical climbs where the grip is low or after-work laps on a local downhill track, the E-Mythique LT has been tested and developed to deliver.

I’m 65 and retired. Having pedaled analog bikes 60 of those years, riding an ebike isn’t cheating, it’s rewarding 😊 I live in Vermont up a 12% grade road and while I’m plenty capable of riding up my road on my analog bike, I don’t enjoy that and it decreases the amount of riding I do. Instead of transporting my bike to local mtb trails, I ride there, then ride twice as long as on my analog bike, and then I ride back home - ready for another ride later that same day. And for anyone that thinks you can’t get a proper workout, do your homework - look at the studies comparing analog/ebike physical fitness (surprisingly similar benefits). I have my power turned way down for workouts and then turned up to medium for pleasure rides and full power when I’m eventually gassed. Call me a cheater all you want, but I’ll be out riding with a smile all day long

Dont care what people think, ride your e bike enjoy it. Dont have to validate why you ride it, you want one you bought one you love it, i once had a rather fat man who could hardly walk and was struggling for breath ask me about my e bike, he called it a cheat bike, i looked him up and down and just rode off bare in mind im 72kg

I've rode analog bikes for over 10 years racing and pleasure, demo'd both light weight and full power specialised bikes and was blown away by the fun you can have. I ordered a trek rail a year after, " saved up" . Not looked back since, I ride rode races with road tyres and do over 50 miles and do 4000 ft of climbing, and do 30 + miles mainly off road and have tons of fun and workout. Use the power or eco it- it's your choice. It's not cheating it's more fun.

To many mucho MAN here. Lol. I use my emtb for staying in shape but also having a lot of commuting fun. People don't know and don't realise that you have the option to work hard on a e bike and probably workout better. But yet i enjoy the hardcore comments.

Been riding my first ever e-bike (Trek Fuel exe ) for couple weeks now and it’s the best thing I’ve done it even makes the boring bits fun, as for being lazy definitely not you get out of it what you want I did a 30km loop with 800 meters of climbing compared to the same loop on my accoustic HT my heart rate was an average of 15 beats a minute more on my e-bike

You can use an ebike to enable you to do more of your current riding such as 5 loops of a trail rather than 3. BUT they are so much more, they are an enabler to bigger adventures and epic days out. Best advice I heard was "if you buy an eMTB go ride up a mountain" I live in south wales and at 66 years old I can still do 60Km rides with 2000m of climbing riding out in the Black Mountains and Brecons without feeling completely ****ed for a week after!! I ride a Vitus E-Sommet VRX and never regretted buying it. Going up is the new coming down 🙂and steep techie climbs become fun not an obstacle. PS... if I am heading to the trail park I usually take my hardtail MTB as I find it more fun on the downhill trails than the ebike. Don't always think of an eMTB as replacement to an MTB they offer up a realm of different capability. That is why there are the 2 sports of EWS and EWS-E, both involve super fit elite athletes but they test them in different ways.

I own an ebike, since december 2021, however in my region in Brazil we don't ride trails, mostly cross crountry. With an ebike I can ride with my friends, otherwise I styed behind, way behind, they had to wait for me all the time. I recently bought a normal mtb, just for fun, and I'm riding during the week, to train, and i can say, makes so much difference. I'm stronger now, because you need more power in the climbs, not so much rotation in the pedals. But I can't live anymore without my ebike!!!!

You certainly need 2 batteries, hired one @Bike Park Wales for the day (no uplift) and the 1st battery was done after 3 hours. Budget for this when buying as the batt will not last the day. Really enjoyed it, which surprised me. Cycled 40 miles on the mountain in the day and had a blast.

This looks like a fantastic bike, and great to see a brand that is bringing EMTB in at an affordable level.
There's a lot of focus on 15 - 20K super E-bikes these days in the press, that let's face it is beyond reality for most of us.
For all the EMTB hater on here, you need to tell all the athletes that compete in the UCI E-MTB World Cup and World Championships that they are all "just lazy and weak" .....
I'd be interested to hear how that goes.
It's all cycling, so what's to hate?
I have a number of bikes. The two I spend most of my riding time on are my Devinci Troy Carbon and my Focus Jam2 EMTB. The riding is about 50 / 50 on each. Both bikes are fabulous. I can ride the Troy when I want pure human power pedalling only, or the Focus when I want to increase the fun factor, or bomb about in my local woods for an hour at lunchtime - it's all good. I've been riding Mountain Bikes since 1988, so I've seen all the innovations over pretty much the entire history of the sport, and EMTB is great, and fun development for those who want it (everyone should give it a go). I can remember that there were purist BITD that thought suspension forks were an unwelcome development....!!!😂

Exactly my thoughts. They're an absolutely great invention if you cannot use a regular bike for whatever reason. However, if you're able to propel yourself under your own steam then they are most definitely cheating and literally nothing will sway me on this.

@@chainreactioncycles emtbs are fun but so are normal mtbs. I had a Vitus E-Sommet about 4 years ago and increased my strength lifting it over all the fences but reduced my cycle leg strength substantially, so sold it.
