This is the first short-travel E-Bike I have ridden, and honestly, this thing was UNREAL - in this video I share the spec, sizing, and first ride impressions. - Zábava
I enjoy watching your reviews, as you seem to get a nice balance of product shots, riding, music, pov footage and comentary. The bike seems like a really good purchase to get in to e-mtb as a first bike - decent components that can be later upgraded if you wanted to....brakes, wheels, tyres, drivetrain, bar, stem fork and shock.... and it's in a really nice red colour too, bonus! I agree with your point on the frame size too. I have a Medium size NP Scout 275 & a Large Mega 275 - despite frame size diferences, I do feel at one with each when riding rather than perched on top like you mentioned. I've yet to ride a full 29er, however, the E-Escarpe would be one I'd defintely consider, as I am not wanting to be forced in to the mixed wheel size, so a 29er front and read trail emtb suits my riding stye and terrain choices.
That looks cool!
Just bought a vitus escape off wiggle for £1800 !!! Looking forward to my new hobby this summer.
No chain reaction now so good luck with warranty issue
yes lad!!!
Sick❤
Nice bike i prefer the 29er over the 27.5.the color nice on the frame
what do you guys think about the Vitus E-Escarpe 290 VR Mountain Bike for my first proper mountain bike
How do I lock in my my changes? There are no buttons on the display and only two buttons on the EM800 assist switch I can't see another mode button.
Hi mate, on your vitus E-Escarpe the button that is used to be on the display unit is that now just under the power button on the frame because I haven't got a clue 🤔
I'm in the same boat! I can't figure out how to access the menu on the display!
Im a noob.. so, the bigger the wheels the better right?
but even on road like if its less rolling resistance?
Not necessarily, larger tyres go over bumps easier and have more momentum, but 27.5 tyres are more playfull and snappy.
My GF, desperately wants an...E-bike. Won't go trailing me without one. Narrowing the list down to three: Vitus e-Escarpe, GT EP6 Current, and the Haibike alltrail 7. QUESTION: Is it attainable to install a 650B rear? And can the rig be fitted with a external battery, or a 720watt internal battery, for longer range? Would prefer to see all e-MTBs, using a 35mm internal width rims. Much better ride quality, & much less turmoil to remove the tires.
Don’t think you can put 27.5 wheel on the E-Escarpe without changing the geometry.
Don’t think it’ll fit a 720watt battery internally.
It looks like trek rail 9.8 eBike
From 3 years ago
I can't tell if that's a compliment or a critisism 😄
@@RicardoPetrazzi it's most likely much cheaper than trek, so I think both😊
I've just picked up a brand new Nissan Qashqai N-Connecta it's just to get me from A to B. I'm always on my bike
far to exspensive just take a decathon
Are you serious?😅
You look too tall on the bike
