@@dugganracecraftyeah, I bought it about a year ago and it sat in a box until I finally decided to do something with it. Local shop near me, Zero In Racing, helped do the install. Basically all stock parts from a GT500, including the timing cover, fuel rails and injectors, crank pulley, cooling system. He had to mill the heads down a little for fitment, and we used a 90mm C&L throttle body because we couldn't figure out the pinning on the Hellcat throttle body.
@@dugganracecraft it's fun! Definitely quicker than stock, and a way different powerband than when it was Procharged. Don't get me wrong, I loved that build, and it was a beast, but this is much more liveable.
That looks pretty fun, almost makes me miss the Mustang II I used to have, but also not... as the only Mustang II I've seen in Norway was the one I had, and it had a V6, not the sportiest thing around, but still was fun to me having just gotten my drivers license, though mine wasn't a fastback, not sure what they called those for the Mustang II, HT or notchback? I've been wondering how a restomod one would be like though, but for me it'd be handling, as while drag racing exists in Norway, it's not as common as AutoX or track days. Yours must be pretty fun, as the Mustang II is kinda small, I can't remember it's weight, but I imagine it's fairly light for a US car, I could kinda see it having potential in drag racing instead of the mandatory foxbody with a LS swap. :P
I’d love to build another one and maybe some day I will, this car has been a LOT of work to get it where it is and it’s not even close to being fun. But let me know if you end up doing something, I’d love to see it!
@Duggan Racecraft what did you do with the port on the blowers water neck that normally goes to the overflow? Does that metal port just pull out then tap in a npt plug?
would I be able to do this swap with a GEN two timing cover? You wouldn't happen to have an itemize parts list with numbers would you thanks in advance
Hell yeah man the car is badass ive been waiting on this video forever. Your car cant have all of the Beans because I own 100% of Beans which is my car 🤣😂😆🤪. Im almost finished with the interior on my car then fixing to do a big brake conversion on the front then a real vic jr intake heavily ported to install and off with the china one that has a bad choke point in it . Then ive gotta get my bud to make me some cool headers then ill be set.
I went with VMP and they absolutely nailed it! I ended up using the hellcat TB with JMS throttle max for the Hellcat TB for the gen 2 PCM. In your case you can use the GT500 throttle body with no issues

VMP is not the only company that has a triple pass. Department Of Boost has one too, but it's over 2x the size of the VMP.

The water level in the tank needs to be higher than the intercooler or you will never get all of the air out of the intercooler.
Hmm that’s weird, it works fine for the 20-22 GT500 🤷🏻♀️

You could just cap the nipple that’s there, I pulled that out and drilled it for a 1/8” NPT plug!
U should paint red or black with horse on the hood an horses running down side of the doors 3d look

I don’t have an itemized list of parts, but you can use a Gen 2 timing cover as I did but it depends on what you’re going to do for AC!

Who tuned the car I have a gen 3 with the same blower and now we just need to tune it it seem a lil hard to get it running
