Wicked ride! I've a '74 fastback, my first car. Owned it for 43 years. Has a 69 4V 351 Windsor in it now. And also have a Black and gold 77 Cobra ii with an empty space under the hood lol. Thats a quick combo you have there,
Definitely capable of 9's. Rain-X works wonders on the windshield, and if the car is garaged a lot it will stay on for quite some time. Been a lot of years since I've used it. If I recall, you have to apply it when dry, but man does it make a difference in the rain.
Oh its a deep in the 9s car my man. Heres the thing . Your 60 is being overlooked here a little bit but thats where your gains are going to be. A small improvement in 60 is a big improvement in ET. That car seems to have 1.5-1.4s in it , I am guessing that will stick you around 9,40s - 9,50s at around 140ish . Im guessing the car is right around 2800 pounds now.... Great job man....
I couldn't agree more! I just posted the last racing video for the season and I wasn't able to get the 9, but I did go 1.56 to the 60'... and then it broke the pinion... lol
Luckily we found out what was going on in the tune! If it left too hard in first it would go into limp mode on the hellcat throttle body which is why I went back to the Mustang TB, but now that the tune is figured out and it doesn’t go into limp mode anymore I went back to the hellcat throttle body using a JMS throttlemax.
hey there, this is pretty amazing. I do have a questions for you if you have time. Do you have videos about the 4 to 5 bolt swap? What needs to get done for it? I'm looking to go 4 wheel disk brakes and was thinking of a shortened Explorer 8.8 but not sure on the front. Thanks and keep up the great work.
You could do the explorer axle, that’s probably the most cost effective and the easiest to get! As for front brakes you have a ton of options! I used an 11” conversion kit to use GM metric calipers while using the Mustang II spindle. You can also just get 5 lug rotors for the stock Mustang II set up from speedway motors! If you have any more questions please let me know!
That is a 9 sec car already , the only thing stopping it is the 60ft because its a freaking beast making too much power for its own good. Hell I would be happy to run a bullshit 9.99 as you call it 🤣😂 Ive gotta get mine to the track to see what it will do. Did Shannon quit making youtube vids? He was doing good then vanished .
@@dugganracecraft yeah theres lots putting out content just to be putting it out and some way over posting which will play themselves out really fast .
Thanks for keeping us updated. Nice to see the progress. Can't wait to see a 9 .
That makes two of us! It’ll happen soon, it has to!
Sucks about the tire getting gouged, car sounds incredible! Making great passes bro! Glad you got home safe in the rain
It’s alright, nothing a few decent burnouts can’t fix right? 😉 but thank you! There was a short bit where I wasn’t sure lol
Love how this KC has progressed!!!
The good thing is it’s just gonna keep getting better 😉

I’m sure that 351 car is a lot of fun! But she’s not too bad, hopefully will be faster this year 😌
This car is sick man! Can't wait to see it 100% with a coat of paint!
You and me both! I’m running out of excuses not to paint it 😂
Hopefully da bois are with you when you do end up getting that 9.90-9.80!!
Me too but that’ll be up to da bois to decide 🫠

It save my life that night honestly lol
I'm enjoying this journey, and looking forward to the 9s.
You and me both brother!
@@dugganracecraft If I went 140mph I would ruin the seat upholstery.
The car is really becoming a badass! Good job bud! (get some wipers!)
I agree on all counts 😂
Such a unique sound outta that car. Love it!
Thank you kind sir! I would have to agree!

That thing is strong
It definitely feels like it!
oh yeah, get the suspension and gesrs sorted you got 9's for sure! Can you figure out a way to make 1st gear launch work?

What is the weight of this thing? Lol love it
With me in it, it weighs 3400 pounds! But I’m kind of a big guy too lol

He’s kind of in the same boat I am, making content just to put content out isn’t good content and we both want to put out quality over quantity!
