Well it wasn't really his "pet" but he wanted it to be and it wasn't really a car it was Hess Station Gasoline Tanker Truck just like the one Santa would bring at Christmas but about 40 times bigger. Though the resulting fire did destroy our whole block and the three adjacent ones as well. When the "pet" squirrel (probably shocked a person had picked it up for first time and near death from truck crushing its legs) bit Soldier Boy on the hand he threw it into all the way up into low orbit where (with a good telescope) it can still be spotted to this day! What an American Hero! Great Memories!

I was 8 when Soldier Boy visited my elementary school. He gave a speech about good health during an assembly and even showed us some of his secret super hero work out routines! I saw him snorting some type of white powder in the parking lot after school. He told me he had a hard time swallowing his vitamins and his doctor recommended to take them in powdered form. I could never swallow pills either, so I had something in common with Solider Boy!

My Grandmother was one of the backup dancers in this video. She said that soldier boy was a larger than life figure to meet in person. It broke her heart to hear about his passing while sacrificing himself to protect others. However, this video made her smile because it reminded her of how much fun it was to work with him.
