I'm ordering more of them, it screams out to put one on my Typhon speed run car. The gyro would help stop any high speed wobbles and that braking would help for sure

@@MuscleAKAOzzy been running this transmitter/ receiver for almost a month now. And it is very responsive. Range is insane. I did a range test and i could barely see the car from where i was and it was still in range (about 2 and a half blocks away). Just make sure you recalibrate it with your esc after you bind it.
Nice looks good, only thing I can't find X6FG Receiver alone . I will wait before buying to see if i can fins them But this is a good solution to replace traxxas tx rx . nice find bro . 👌🌞🌞😎

The sub trim for channel 1 (steering) is opposite of the direction the vehicle or boat is going. How do you correct this?

I have a couple remotes with ABS n the function really is there for nitro n not really used with the electric, the nitro has real disc brakes n works good but ive tried with electric n it pulses but wont stop on a dime n pulses n dont stop till much farther then when u first brake

I need it it for my PX-16...converted to brushless. becuase it has twins.
That's going to make a huge different on a boat...even if you dont run twins.
When you're on a single motor...it'll over torque the boat to one side..
The gyro is going to help alot.
It'll be cool for TANKS...ect too.

I just have a concern about the fact that the receiver is not waterproof,,
I think this could be problem,, you it be treated a paint? But how do you access it functions with that little button on the side if it's gummed up with some protective coating??
Also is it abs by default? And when selecting the gyro function,, does remain in gyro mode when you switch it off and on again?? As selecting it every time you switch your car on would be a problem if it's sealed in something water proof

The waterproofing he mentioned is a solution that you either spray on or dip the board in after you open up the case.
Is the conformal coating a spray and do you just spray the whole thing before or after connecting it and will it affect the little button to turn on and off the gyro? Sorry I’m a newbie at all this thank you for your help
the conformal coating I use from Amazon is in a bottle with a brush, goes on easy and dries in under an hour. Brush probably safer and easier to use than a spray

I just got my jlb 21101 extreme version and It was suppose to come with the flysky. And I got this Dumbo x6 with it instead! Is that a good thing? Mine doesn't have the 2 knob on the top of it though? What's your opinion? Better remote than the flysky? Awesome vid too bro!! God bless you. Hope to hear back your opinion. I value it! Thanks
Jared the dumbo is a very good radio they also do a four channel version and I think that might be what you have
I used this video as a recommendation and purchased one.....
I was going to use it on a SCX10 but the forward and reverse was way tooo fast.

ve spent in years. The braking has literally snapped one of my motors, I like goijng fast but stopping quick even better!!
Does this have a throttle speed limiter to reduce full speed if you are trying to get use to your vehicle before using full speed?
Not as such. it has throttle trim but that won't dial it back much
I bought one of these, it was broken out of the box, throttle channel didnt work properly :P Now waiting for banggood to hopefully send me a new one.
They seem pretty good on warranty stuff although sorry to hear it didn't arrive working, I've been buying the 6 ch rx's to use with all my new stuff as they're $9.99 each and you still get the gyro, abs and that stupidly long range!

Darran if you've a stock traxxas rally then you can set the radio to training mode, and it has 50% power ideal for learning. It's in the traxxas manual as to how to do it

I keep my gyro set at 50% and it works great. Not so much at 100% with my big tires
yes the gyro % you need varies hugely in relation to the car, on some of mine it's down at 5%
Do you think this radio will be a good upgrade for a Arrma Talion compared to a stock TTX-300?
Reason being that I want the fast response but also a Gyro function.
100% yes, I am getting new receivers to fit to all my high speed stuff, this radio is a ridiculous bargain for the money, and you can control the gyro from the dial on the transmitter

I know this is a dumb question so bare with me, the receiver your pairing the transmitter to. Is it the one you got with the dumborc package or is it the one already in the car. You see I’m new to this if you remember me contacting you, and I’ve ordered one of the dumborc packages like you recommend. I’ve not got it yet but my plan is to put/or pair it to my Arrma Senton 3s 4x4 blx. So any detailed instructions would be great fully received. X
Your enthusiasm for this has made me so excited to get this I’ve actually ordered to of them and I don’t as yet have another suitable car to use the second one on! Lol 😂 I’ve got the senton and the Redcat Gen8 scout but I’ve still got my sights on the Arrma Typhon 6s v4 2019 as my next buy. It’s proving harder than I thought to warrant the expense to my wife. I bought the Redcat before telling her and whilst not too bad a reaction I’m not sure about doing it again so soon. My birthday is in March and I also get my Royal Mail pension from 15 years service so that should be a better time to do it.
It's the one in the package, you can't bind a reciever with a transmitter that's not compatible.

Very easy and I'd recommend it as the stock arrma radios these days don't have very good range, I've owned Typhons from V1 through to V4 and the early tactic radios had more range. You will love the Typhon V4

Yes, but no memory for settings, so you'll need to adjust the settings each time you change vehicles.

Chase if your fpv is good for 500m then this would be ideal for it, best radio distance I've ever tested.

Driftomaniacs hi rich I’m having problems with mine. I’ve tried different receivers but still no luck, sometimes it cuts out at 70m other times it can do around 180m but I can’t get it past around 180m any idea what’s wrong?
Do you have to turn the gyro on every time you power your car on?

no you set it up with a button on the receiver and it stays on until you want to turn it off you don't have to turn it on each time, once and it's done

I see the pulsing of brakes being a motor killer in my typhon with stock motor, can it be turned off? I have ordered one with a 4 weeks delivery.
Shane I am pretty sure you can turn it off that said I've had no motor issue and I use these in quite a few cars. It'll let you steer that Typhon under heavy braking though!

The SRX200 receiver in my Ruckus 4x4 is not waterproof or slash proof for that matter(found out today) lol..I need some conforming liquid! Lol

How do you activate abs?
Now not sure about that BUT it is a god send no more skidding under heavy braking, now I can do speed runs without worrying about stopping or drifting in to a curb under braking. That said check out todays Radiolink 6ch review as in that radio you can turn the ABS on or off

you should always turn the car off first!
