Disneyland Experience it would have been funny to see Harrison tell the crowd to shut up, jokingly.
Disneyland Experience BRING BACK THE FUCKING CLONE WARS
the last jedi sucked..thanks for ruining luke for me assholes
@@jshada11 cry more
Harrison Ford at the end... "What the hell is a mace windu?"
At the end of the day, he doesn't give a rat's fuck about Han Solo. He's just doing his job for a living.
Don Gress this prelogy was so... Bad....
Nico C. So is the recycled trilogy
@@nicoco.6520 What tf did you say? 😤
“ I get the purple lightsaber 🥶😬”
LOL George and Harrison wanted to leave that place
I know you can so easily tell hahaah
Being both strong introverts, no surprise there.
George had to run home and count his billions --- still laughing at how much Disney paid for his franchise
Why laughing? He could've demanded 10 billion and it would still be a bargain. Now that the Star Wars IP is bigger than ever before the IP generates between 3 to 5 billion a year! Owning the rights to Star Wars is like owning a money printing machine.
+Bill Belzek Seriously?? 4 billion is nothing for Star Wars... a relatively small scale craft beer brewery was sold for $1 billion dollars... Star Wars is arguably the biggest franchise on the entire planet... there is not a single continent where Star Wars is not known and in many cases a household name... you are incredibly naive in thinking 4 billion dollars for Star Wars was a "good deal" for George... luckily George still has a % invested in it. George Lucas used all $4 billion from the sale towards his foundation for helping children.
"Are you looking forward to watching the Han Solo movie as a fan?"
Harrison: "Not really."
Never change Harrison. Never change.
He clearly does not know anything about Harrison's relationship history with the series. Yeesh. I thought the kiddies liked Google these days. About 2 minutes of "research" would be all it takes.
Rae Carson fuck off
Well, that escalated quickly. Lol.
I remember you from Bruceblitz.
Lucas is like, "I made this shit I'm not a fan."
exactly
I cringed so hard at the reporter. Poor Harrison and George.
Rafa Twitter is filled of such.
That interviewer guy is super-vapid with an obnoxious and piercing voice. Yes, I've heard worse but not much. Ugh. Every interview I've seen with him so far makes me want to punch him.
I really don't like him. I think Andi Gutierrez is enough for me
His laugh is the worst part, I can't stand it!
well Andi is actually aware of how cringy she should not be, while THIS GUY isn't
Harrison Ford had no idea who Mace Windu was when that guy mentioned him and that's why he's awesome.
2K16 how do you know?
Among other things.
Why's that?
BroBroNelly because he can shake off such an iconic role so easily
The fact he just treats it as a job is nice, true. I still prefer Mark, though, just because he gives at least half a shit about Star Wars. :P
I love that Harrison quoted Monty Python.
LOL Yes nobody here is talking about that, oh the interviewer is terrible oh George and Harrison are strong introverts oh me oh my...What about, "I'm not dead, I'm just resting?"! Best part of the whole thing.
*Still can't figure out Harrison after all these years --- he seems grateful for his iconic role as Solo --- but also very tired and bored of being forced to talk about Star Wars at his ripe old age LOL*
He is just a very strong introvert. It's difficult for people who aren't to understand that behavior.
Yeah, he's an introvert. But also remember, he didn't experience Star Wars as we did. He was there from the start, seeing the thing get made from behind the scene. I'm sure he likes Star Wars, but he's not into it as much as we are. I guess sometimes he has to be a little tired by everyone asking him the same things for 40 years.
In every interview Ford is always a little grumpy and withdrawn, don't think too much of it, it's just his personality.
Bill Belzek He is a MAJOR stoner. Which is why he seems so detached most of the time and so grumpy when he hasn't had his ganja.
There's some point in your life where being asked the same questions repeatedly for 40 years gets a little tiresome, you know?
And no, he's not a stoner. He has social anxiety and gets nervous in public. And honestly I think most of it is just him putting on an act. He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor that he uses to be more comfortable in public
Harrison Ford: I'm not dead..I'm Snoke
Daniel Medjedovic that doesn't make any fucking sense 😂😂😂
Now that would be something, wouldn't it.
Now he's dead.....
🫂
Harrison looks so annoyed by the interviewer lol
Ford is always annoyed lol
He just wants to make the film and move on.
I'd be too. Who found this idiot? Ford and Lucas together for an interview and the most pre-packaged questions ever...
Chris Mongeluzzi I mean he was annoying during it...
Chris Mongeluzzi He isn't much of a public guy from what I read.
His squeaky voice is grating....
This is so awkward for George Lucas...
if i was George i would not even care.
I love George. I bet there he was thinking " kill me. Just kill me now "
You gotta know Ford and Lucas wanted to just go home.
True, true words.
LMAO Did you just agree with yourself after 8 months?
WTF xD
@@Commander_Shepard. Yep he schizophrenic
I like how both of them looked at the card to see how many more questions there are left at 2:24
LOL good catch, they both made the same exact face too
They look so ready to get away from the interviewer lol.
Reporter- "Are you looking forward to seeing a Han Solo movie as a fan"
Harrison Ford- "Not really"
😂I died when I heard that
"Will you be watching it as a fan?"
Han: "no. I'll be watching it as a...uh...uhhh..." *looks at crowd* "...yeah Ill watch it as fan".
Harrison Ford and his hate for star wars! haha
Christopher Ryan 😂😂
3:00 Harrison's facial expression is priceless! Like "who is Mace? Ah, whatever..."
I love seeing ford be genuine, at times you know he says things he doesn't mean because of contacts etc but he is unhappy, seeing him happily express an emotion is so great.
George Lucas = LEGEND
Yep
Love how Harrison always looks spaced out when interviewed.
harrison was so genuine as he expressed how great storytelling was something to be proud of and gave recognition to the fans that supported Star Wars for 40 years.
*Unfortunately the interviewer squandered that.
Nope. He said absolutely. Nothing squandered about that at all.
Rest and be happy Carrie Fisher. You are loved and will never be forgotten!!!!
Aww man! Just missed this! I love seeing Harrison Ford really eccentric being at the celebration. Thanks for posting this!
Obi Wan Has the high ground looks like he's loosened up a bit now that he's done with Han.
ACB Films But he's still denying Han is dead like he did on Kimmel and another interview he said Han was resting again. So what's the big deal if he's dead just say it
ACB Films Yeah probably! Well, at least we will see what really happened with him between Han Solo and Lando. The "huge" fight or whatever between them or whatever
"I'm not dead, I'm just resting."
If this doesn't convince you, I don't know what will.
Harrison ford looked like he enjoyed that pay check but doesn't look like he gives a shit
Pretty much staying in character as Han Solo.
Like George Lucas
Why should he? He doesn't give a shit about Star Wars, it's ancient history for him. He's done a million films since then, and he loves Indiana Jones much more as a character he's created.
glad to see Harrison talk positive about Star Wars and be celebrating 40 years
George is a living legend.
George looks so sad lmao
He always looks sad
Yeah he's always really laid back and sad looking. Even when laughing.
It's because , some one is ruined his franchise , if we think prequels where bad, prequels are jewels, pure gold and silver compared to this garbage Disney is doing ....
management1 Episode 1 introduced poop and fart jokes to Star Wars Franchise. He ruined this himself. Let that sink in for a moment. Every time you think Star Wars is pure gold or better than other sci-fi, or movie franchises. STAR WARS HAS POOP & FART JOKES.
Commander Shepard and the tits alien in this movie what is that? I prefer to see creativity and imagination , like prequels who Lucas so every thing Whit story in his world, than the copy paste shit this movies are, Whit no creativity and anything about star wars ... A fucking Mary Sue , and a boring and stupid plot of the entire movie...
Harrison Ford just quoted Monty Python. And just when I thought the man couldn't get any more badass.
Wtf, 2 legends take some time to answer your questions and that's all you got? omg, i have 100+ more interesting questions than this wtf?!
I'd love to hear some of yours.
such as
My most favorite George Lucas interview was were he got to talk about the underlying narrative and mythology that helped him create Star Wars. Not this crap.
Lord Fluffykinz link?
Sometimes I can't believe how bad the interviewers can be, hire someone with more brains capable of prepping better questions.
and generally who's much more calm in that situation, however those are the kind of people that be running those events.
@Grunwald why?
@@thejfoshow1320 bcs that guy looks gay
The sadness in George’s eyes is too much.40 years of Star Wars, his child and he sold it.
You can tell how much the sequels really hurt him.I wish all the prequel haters who are now fans can apologise to george and start a revolution to get him back.
why do they insist on using the worst interviewers and hosts every time.
They keep hiring Star wars fans who simply can't contain their excitement and sound like idiots. Rather they hired someone who hated the films
GavinJ37 Journos these days are overrun by kissassery and zero professionalism.
Harrison Ford is completely over the whole Star Wars thing.
He's been that way since 1980 lol
to him it was just another gig. A rather good one tho.
Jk
George and Harrison are my favorite Beatles.
"Are you looking forward to watching a Han Solo movie?"
"Not really."
Its like you just read my mind, mister Ford.
I think it speaks to their success that they show up, do their work, and keep living their lives instead of getting swept away in minute details and distractions.
Thank you so much for uploading 😊
Harrison Ford kills me
I liked both of their answers to the dumb questions that must have been a great moment for Geoorge finding out A New Hope was a hit and I like Harrison's follow up to that. But I find it so funny at the end with how done with Star Wars Harrison Ford is. He doesn't care at all about what people think about what he thought about Han Solo's death lol
Harrison Ford is the best
I feel so bad for Harrison... Could they at least choose a less fake interviewer and more comfortable location to facilitate his shyness?
That was awkward.
Star Wars is the best movie franchise ever!
The interviewer sounds like one of those nerds from Bully lol
This is historical for Harrison Ford to do this - amazing
Two legends!
That was really hard to watch knowing those two old guys are the icons of sci-fi for me. Cherish every moment we have with them. Carrie is gone from us and we so miss her.
Two legends finally together and they chose the work experience kid to interview them?
That is exactly the kind of interviewer I would expect to see at a movie convention.
I love these guys.
At 1:16 'most proud of'. I would have loved to have seen the audience reaction if he said Jar Jar Binks.
Harrison was lit almost slurring his words XD this is gold
Great to see our childhood heroes in this "new" and very different world of ours and likely dealing with the same or similar social challenges that most of us do and have been for a time. An iconic thespian like Harrison and a creator of worlds like Lucas. Both were certainly great heroes of mine.
I have to disagree with Harrison as a writer myself that writing is a service and that you only do it if people are happy with what you write.
I believe that as pretentious as it might sound, that most art has the potential to transform us and challenge our ways of thinking and what we *think* we know. After all that's exactly what Star Wars is about, delivered to us in a sci-fi storybook package.
Think about it. The works of art be they music, visual and graphic arts or written works that are most likely to leave an impression on us are the ones that challenge us in some way while resounding at some universal level amongst people seeking to survive as individuals and as various a groups striving for a balance between harmony and struggle.
One of his most memorable roles, as Rick Deckard from Bladerunner is certainly poised as that kind of tale from Philip K. Dick's classic Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep when you consider the ending in all of it's many forms of release over the years. Directed by Ridley Scott as well with design work by futurist Syd Mead.
Likewise with George Lucas if you're a fan of his work, you should definitely see American Graffiti to glimpse some of his brilliant early work both as a Writer and Director. Keep in mind that its not set in a sci-fi setting at all but in pre-Vietnam War America on graduation night. Highly recommended.
What my point is in regard to Harrison's comment is that the most profoundly impacting artists will do whatever it is that they do despite the feedback. I mean look at the comic book burnings that occurred in the 1950s and 1960s. The burnings of Rock n' Roll records too. Even some early classical music in the dark ages and just thereafter received the same treatment as well when it defied the rules of Gregorian counterpoint, sometimes condemning the composers and any performers to imprisonment or worse, death.
There's always an easier way out for the audience than there is for the artist. If you don't like it, don't look at it, listen to it, read it or stop doing whatever it is that gives that art audience. An artist can hardly do as such for it would be akin to euthanizing a child long after raising them for years. An unspeakable act. It was that perseverance that gave us Star Wars despite obstacles and hurdles in the first place and it changed the way that we do things forever, especially the way we make movies. Star Wars wasn't a success because it coddled us or gave us what people thought we wanted. It was a success because it challenged the ideas of what people thought audiences wanted and struck a chord with that notion of the struggle. It's great to see movies such as Rogue One picking up that torch, certainly not just a great Star Wars movie but a great movie in and of itself that found that chord as well. Oh and good interview as well with concise to the heart of the matter questions. What I'm saying is that isn't that the audience isn't needed rather that the audience will respect what you do and pay attention a lot more if you challenge them, their notions and their point of view enough to really think about it and grow from it. I mean we might as well just ride a train if we want a rollercoaster without peaks and troughs. ;-)
All the best to our heroes, Disney and what's to come.
Brian Joseph Johns
God you can hear Lucas choking up saying "feels great" (dying inside)
I hope there's a Harrison Ford cameo in the Han Solo movie
Star Wars Father George Lucas and Harrison Ford are very cool and are the best at the Star Wars Celebration 2017
#IAdoreYou George, Harrison, and the creative genus of Stars Wars
Harrison was right " I'm not dead I'm just resting" proved to be true due to the fact that he was back in Rise of Skywalker as a memory....or..
love Harrison..that monthy python quote got me xD
2:59-3:01 was awkward. The way the interviewer laughs and George and Harrison looked annoyed.
2:53 Harrison's expression is priceless. 😅
Haha been a fan of Carboni since Rev3games this was funny to watch
The look on Harrison’s face! Damn bruh im dead
that was good the monty python quote lol
dont let this guy ask anyone anymore questions. His nervouse laughter is anooying and he needs to not talk over the people he is interviewing. Make him stop
Mikkel Pilgaard I’d be excited, not nervous lol
Isn't this guy from last year E3 2016 Playstation panel?
Moderator to Harrison Ford: Will you be looking forward to watching a Han Solo movie as a fan?
Harrison Ford. Not really....
We'll miss you, Harrison Ford. RIP Han Solo
When does it say what the hell is a mace windu
"It's the greatest tribute to George and his uh... his fabulous invention."
I got a feeling Harrison has not seen the original movies since the premieres, and has never even once seen the prequels :P
2:32 - 2:41 - How do I answer this question sensibly...
the guy's laugh is just pure gay
To be fair though,, ALL laughing is gay. By definition. "gay: having or showing a merry, lively mood:"
^ gay
If you watch old videos with Carboni he didn't used to laugh this way. This is his Hollywood laugh that he's adopted as of late to get in good with all those types.
DruMeister like your daddy ?
DruMeister I think he is gay
Harrison Ford is the coolest man in the business. I think Return of The Jedi gave Han Solo a bad wrap and I understand his distain for the part because of it. Han Solo had a lot to do in 4-5 and in 6 he was just kind of there, turning his interesting character into a means to sell toys just rubbed him the wrong way.
A Han Solo/Mace Windu funny cop movie would actually be really good!
Carboni is usually pretty chill but here he's having a full on seizure being sandwiched between two legends.
When Harrison Ford was still alive
2:26 Does anyone know what Harrison meant? He didn't seem to like Han's ending at all.
I have the same question. How does that quote from Monty Python apply?
I'm wondering the same...
The world needs more people like Harrison Ford.
But the fact that he's the only one makes his existence so special.
Loads of love to George too. God knows he's had enough of this bullshit.
George is such a likeable guy
Why are they faced away from the audience?
Please never let that dude interview anyone ever again.
haha the buddy cop joke bombed
I Just realized that there first and last names George Lucas and Harrison Ford make the name George Harrison, the Beatle💥💥
That first 11 seconds is a meme, it's so cring, so hilarious. "NOT REALLY!" As George looks on, "Yeah, it's gonna suck!"
Funny how no one in the crowd is holding up their Mobile devices. Almost unheard of nowadays
how does Ford feel about his death in force awakens? he asked for it in Return of the Jedi
His weird laugh at his own "Buddy Cop" joke at the end....... made me cringe so hard 😂
harrison ford was probably like, who the fuck is mace windo?
The host was a nightmare
George I wrote Star Wars 7 A Advent Rising... and 8 could be Rise Of The Alliance... and 9 Corruption Through The Force... and 10 A Lost Jedi... 11 Reign Of The Mandalorian and 12 Balance Of The Force and Then 13 The Force Expansion...
4th comment and 7th like, *I'M FREAKING EARLY*
And here is the proof that Harrison Ford is proud to have been associated with the Star Wars Universe.
1. He said watching another actor play Han Solo is going to be weird for him. If he didn't care it wouldn't feel weird to him.
2. The reason why Harrison Ford wanted Han Solo to be killed off was because since Han Solo has nothing to do with the theme of the force because his character is not a Jedi he wanted to try to make his character more important to the story by adding some emotional weight if Han Solo sacrificed himself for the others. And there would be a perfect mark on the franchise by his character.
3. Also if Harrison didn't care about Star Wars he wouldn't have came back for episode 7. Think about it, the guy is the most successful established actor in the whole Star Wars franchise. If he would have said no to episode 7 despite whether Han Solo died or not there would be another proposal for him for another movie that would have been a hit.
4. The reason why we don't see Harrison Ford go too far into detail about Star Wars is because all he's trying to do is work. And he doesn't like going too much into detail or expressing himself because he is a very private man and because he doesn't like interviews. the only reason he does interviews is because he's trying to help promote the film he is in.
And that's why Harrison Ford is proud to be a part of Star Wars. He does not hate the franchise.
Harrison is pretty humble. I suspect that when he goes to Hollywood crap like this he really just wants to sit and talk to George, have a glass of wine, talk about story ideas maybe and about their families and not get bothered by assholes worshipping them instead of building something themselves.
did you see that as Hans ending? my word
We don't need a Han Solo movie... WE NEED A STARKILLER MOVIE!!!
Here for Lucas and Ford.
Not here for Abrams-wars.
I respect Ford for not pretending he ever gave a shit about Star Wars… But I’m sure he enjoyed cashing the check for this appearance.
