Yeah the reason being he wanted to kill off guy and his team earlier but they were so well liked that the editors told him not to but the Manga was already written and he was too far ahead to edit it so he just wrote them away from the village.

Kakashi having to catch up to Guy's power throughout the series makes sense. Kakashi was a prodigy but he didn't really train hard between Rin's death and the time skip. He got better because of experience but he never really developed himself. Guy on the other hand is training hard almost all the time and even if he does not have the natural gifts Kakashi has, he completely outworks Kakashi.
Doesn't ALWAYS matter. Sasuke and Naruto are both prodigies. Sakura actually is naturally gifted at Chakra control or couldn't learn Tsunade's techniques well enough to be relevant. (like how her assistant is pretty much completely forgotten) However, Lee is definitely the prime example of hard work in Naruto SOMETIMES being enough. But I'd argue almost everyone else has a good bloodline or whatever. I'd argue Kakashi actually did train pretty hard, because he was rivals with Guy. He just PRETENDS to be lazy, mainly when training literal GENIN. Now, he's not pushing himself like Lee does... but it's not like he does nothing, either. I honestly believe that without multiple Gates, Kakashi could beat Guy, but he does have way more techniques and stuff. (Kakashi "the copy ninja" for copying "over 1,000 Jutsu") Although, Guy probably only needs around 2-4, I'd think... he would absolutely need them, imo.
@@Paradox-es3bl Ofcourse Kakashi beats Guy if Guy doesn't have multiple Gates because multiple Gates is part of the Jutsus Guy uses, similar to Kakashi with his Jutsus. Guy needs gates just as much as Kakashi needs Jutsus, its what they train for. We learned during the Gaara and Lee fight that opening Gates requires training and skill, thats why Kakashi was wondering if Lee was a "genius" after all. He releases as many Gates as he needs to when the time calls for it as show in his fight with Kisame. Hiradora one shot Kisame who is one of the better Akatsuki members. That feat is better than anything Kakashi did pre war and there is no indication that Guy couldn't do that in the past.
They're more likely rivals in power with Guy being a taijutsu user and Kakashi being at his strongest and fasted with his lightning blade at least if we're not including MS. So that should explain the databook spread. Also even if Guy is physically superior the databooks also state Kakashi is Konoha's strongest ninja or Jonin, which definitely includes Guy as a Konoha Shinobi. Also Kakashi has a Sharingan so he's copying any of Guy's taijutsu except stuff specific to the gates probably. Also it's not implied Guy surpasses Kakashi until opening the 8th Gate. Also for the other people in the comments you can't give Guy his war arc feats pre war arc because he and Kakashi are clearly superior to the Sannin from their feats in the war arc whereas pre war arc they are stated weaker than Pain Arc, Sage Mode Naruto who just freshly surpassed the Sannin and definitely doesn't scale to a MS Kakashi or 6th Gate Guy from the War.
The point of superiority that Pain had was that the rinnegan made using ninjutsu on him obsolete if he's looking at the attack, and the state of Six paths sage mode applies that immunity naturally to the whole body. Guy's attacks still did damage to Six paths Madara because what he does not classify ninjutsu, (even Kisame said he couldn't absorb the Hirudora because IT WAS NOT CHAKRA), which is why he was the only one at that point in the war who COULD fight Madara. The reason Guy (and Lee) was away was because his existence was the natural counter to that "immune to all ninjutsu" hack, and they needed the tension for the sake of the plot. So guy would basically mid-diff to no-diff Pain in a fight.
@@schemar17 it's not something u can break out of (I think ur thinking about Chibaku Tensei). It's just a push move. And with Chibaku he will be crushed before he can break out if he gets trapped. By that time it's too late even tho I do believe 8 gates can break out. Assuming he somehow didn't get crushed to death if he uses 8 gates he will definitely die. Pain is a Sensory ninja so he can sense the build up of chakra and hide. Guy however can't sense where Pain is so it's an L that way too. He still would have to find Nagato if it was a 6v1 but using the 8 gates doesn't allow that so that's another L. Remember also it's a Kakashi swap situation so he will only be fighting 2: Deva and Asura who I do believe he can kill if he uses the 8 gates but he will die and Naraka will revive them. That's another L. Guy has too many Losing Conditions to win that overall fight. A straight brawl vs the 6 Paths of Pain is another situation.

Idk. Kakashi in a Kisame fight might push him to actually use some of those 1000 jutsu the series bragged about. He made a lightning AOE in his Anbu days by allowing the enemy to bomb the water and he applied his Raikiri. He could probably do the same against those abundance of sharks. Maybe!

Many experts on this even suggest that immersing yourself within the water is a safer option than being above it during a lightning strike. Regarding Guy vs Pain, I actually think he'd have an easier time in a 6v1 rather than the 2v1 in this video. If he only fought the 2 paths that kakashi did I agree that he would beat them, BUT by having to open at least the 6th gate and likely the 7th, he would have to recover after that fight and be unable to fight again when pain is revived.

Guy is called the blue beast in part 1.... Which means he could open up to 7 gates. He witnessed his dad go into 8 gates which means he already knows how to access the 8th
Guy is my favorite jonin. He is just an amazing amped character and so easy to underestimate. And then you see he is actually the strongest. Not just edgy cool like half other characters, but a bit goofy funny guy.
I think people sleep on how intelligent and resourceful Guy is. Kakashi is always praised for how tactical he is when it comes to planning and analyzing situations. But Guy doesn't need to overthink or analyze because he can come up with tactics on the fly in mid combat with split second timing. In his fight with Obito he counter attacked him multiple times, while in mid air and even blocked an attack from a blindspot. He was fighting a man with hashirama cells, a sharingan, a rinnegan, the uchiha fan, and the one touch kamui hacks in his base form and was schooling him. Not to mention when he was fighting tailed beasts with kakashi, the whole time kakashi was trying to remember each tailed beast separately, Guy just battled them not being able to differentiate them even though all of them had extremely different abilities Guy still stood in the middle of them ready to counter attacks on the fly.
Thanks for bringing up the power arc very underrated filler arc in my opinion. That clone of four tails naruto is really strong especially that form it gains after absorbing that energy where it literally blows a hole through the real naruto chest
Kakashi definitely can stall long enough against Kisame or straight up beat him high diff. I say this because Itachi knows what the people around him are capable of (especially Kakashi having worked with him as an Anbu and knowing Kisame well since that's his Akatsuki partner) and when Kisame tells Kakashi he'd cut him up real good, Itachi stops him and warns/scolds Kisame by telling him if he takes Kakashi on-it wont be without cost. Implying it'll cost him his life or at the very least leave Kisame severely injured (so they'd be relative in power) but Kakashi has more experience and skill and the statement gives off "dont underestimate a foe who's actually stronger than you or more capable" vibes

that statement from itachi was in part 1, Kisame got way stronger by shippuden. For example: Kisame was getting beaten by base guy in their encounter in part 1, then in shippuden he forces guy to use the 6th gate with a 30% chakra clone
I'd say Kakashi's sharingan and kamui can give him the win against kisame as far as preventing the Intel leak goes. He only has to follow one shark's movement and kamui that one to the other dimension. And I believe this is Kakashi's go to move being the smart analytical type he is. Maybe not use kamui right off the bat but he'll keep a close eye on the shark. Overall, Kakashi is not going to fight the same way guy did. He'll be aware of his disadvantages and he'll try to stall till reinforcements arrive. Naruto would make his way over the quickest. Only reason why the didn't do so for guy was cause well, he really didn't need 'em. At least that's what I think. Same time tho, the supershark bomb or the water prison could fuck Kakashi up if he gets hit with either before securing the Intel. Personally, I doubt Kakashi will fall for it that easily and he makes the right judgement calls more often than not
I'd really laugh if Kakashi did Kamui Kisame, considering he had no idea there was an actual Kamui dimension that could be entered, and Obito happened to see him there and brought him out along with the Intel, lol. Kakashi would have successfully delivered the Intel himself.
About Guy vs Pain, I believe what would happen would be an interesting parallel to Rock Lee vs Sasuke in part 1. Even if the Rinnegan gives shared field of vision, it doesn't matter if each Pain can't physically follow Guy's movements. If Guy opens even the 5th gate, he soloes the 6 paths of Pain. None of them would be able to touch him, they only have a chance in a combo with Tendou like how he did to impale Kakashi's Lightning clone, but mind you that he might be able to resist Shinra Tensei and Banshou Ten'in as 6 tailed Naruto did. Even then, Tendou is not that hard to beat, since even 1st gate Guy could do a lot in 5 seconds. In Naruto's place Guy would do much better assuming he opens the gates from the get go. Now, I don't know how he would deal with Chibaku Tensei, but to do that Tendou has to get the opportunity to flee and get closer to Nagato and not be intercepted by Guy.
Thank you for interpreting the use of the gates REALISTICALLY. People act like any fight Guy is in he'll just do SEVENTH GATE OPEN and boom boom. Well one, why didn't he do this, I don't know, WHEN THE LEAF WAS INVADED THE FIRST TIME? Likely because it would've hurt others and the situation just didn't call for that!!!! In lots of Guy hypothetical fights, people just literally say "8 Gates Bruh" and stop the discussion there
Only thing special about him is his Ice style but thats just elemental ninjutsu, wont take you too far in the naruto verse where you only matter if you are an Uchiha/Senju
2 small points: 1) the Rasenshuriken absolutely destroyed the 3th Raikage. But since he was an Edo Tensei, he regenerated. 2) It's Gai's entire kit that he trains every day to get stronger. That's his entire goal to always get stronger the next day. So Gai definitely gets stronger and stronger as time goes on. But this was a very entertaining video, good job! 👍
Actually not true, he tank the because his jutsu, they try to throw a Rasenshuriken at edo madara and would have killed madara but he awakened it to absorbed the attack

For those saying kakashi would win against kisame, you really need to assess the situation. If he find the shark with the scroll and kamui’s it then it’s just gonna go to Obito (unbeknownst to kakashi). He can’t summon his ninja hounds, they’ll just get eaten alive by the sharks. He can’t raikiri the water without KO’ing both he and Kisame unless kakashi knows a way to discharge the lightning around himself which I don’t think has been shown (at that point in the series at least). Kakashi will be able to copy kisame’s jutsus at best all while trying to avoid sharks AND trying to stop the one with the scroll from getting away. Kakashi doesn’t have big jutsu to deal with all of that except by copying. Kisame would probably figure that out and water prison him: gg.
Would love a hypothetical about a confrontation between Itachi and Kisame and Asuma, Kurenai, Kakashi and Guy when they run into each other in part 1. I think its a potential fight that would've been pretty cool, especially with Kakashi being heavily fatigued from just being in tsukuyomi. Guy is obviously strong but idk if he would have gone all out with the gates in that circumstance, or if he even had the 7th gate mastered at that point. But I imagine there'd be some cool tactics and teamwork in this fight. If Guy takes point with his anti-sharingan technique, Asuma and Kurenai might be able to provide some support or run interference while giving Kakashi some time to recover a bit. The goal probably wouldn't be to defeat Itachi and Kisame, just to escape. But in this circumstance, Itachi and Kisame would choose to engage instead of retreating. I really wish we would've seen more akatsuki pairs fighting together, especially Itachi and Kidame since they compliment each other so well
Guy definitely had the 7th gate mastered at that point. When Lee and Gara are fighting Kakashi tells team 7 that guy is stronger than the kage. Throughout the series guy barely used 7th gate and the few times he did he was extremely fatigued or he was holding back like against kisame. He wasn't trying to kill kisame he was just trying to cripple him and even while only trying to cripple him kisame didn't come close to actually hurting 7th gate guy

Pretty spot on only thing id add is that kakashi has a jutsu for almost every scenario but he just spams shadow clones and raikiri like naruto with his shadow clones and rasengan. Also guys battle intelligence is actually pretty high and 7th gate guy is easy high kage level and could surprise the paths I dont believe hirudora can be absorbed
Swapping these is a great idea! And I was with you for most but I don’t think kisame escapes Kakashi. Kakashi has his Sharingan to be able to pinpoint which shark is real, something guy doesn’t which is why guy has to unleash wide scale techniques because he dissent have the skills to let him be precise in that scenario.
I mean, due to Guy having the 8th gate, he can technically do better than Kakashi with every opponent. Besides DMS Kakashi, Kakashi can’t perform to the level of the eight gates (most characters in Shippuden can’t lol). Not even a knock to Kakashi, Guy just has a crazy ass trump card.

If Guy had been in the village, him and Kakashi would have handled pain until naruto arrived. The two of them would have been to much to handle. The only problems they faced were the summons and deva path.
i remember watchin power in my high school physics class. out teacher let ppl use laptops for note and my friend was like u gotta see the new naruto arc. i was like nah i only read the manga and watch some fights, but it was awesome filler arc.
On the Kakashi vs Kisame fight, Kisame's possession of samehada is why his fighting style goes on absorbing chakra from his opponent's ninjutsu as they fight while simultaneously inflicting damage to them, which leads them to making their chakra reserves too low to perform any ninjutsu against him as the fight drags on while making himself stronger.(explaining how he soloed the 4 tails jinchuriki, who seemed to be in harmony with his tailed beast). This of course did not work on might Guy because there was no ninjutsu to feed on, so he just got jumped by raw punches that we're burning air and launching nuke level tiger shaped cannons if wind at him. Kakashi on the other hand falls into that "ninjutsu snack" category that Kisame is used to fighting, and even though he CAN use taijutsu too, he's not on the level Guy was at to even match Kisame.(did you see how the water was waving along when Guy was simply flexing his nunchucks, on top of that shockwave from the side-force of the actual attack. Plus that one time BASE Guy punched the side of a cliff and THE WHOLE DAMN THING SHOOK. I KNOW Kakashi isn't on that level even on his good days).
If guy wasn’t on said mission, the second the lead was attacked he would be by kakashi’s side. They would both understand that pain was a powerful opponent & there you have it, 6th gate guy & headband up, sharingan out Kakashi. Between both of them I doubt that sage mode naruto would have been required for pain. And they would arguably obtain the rinnegan and probably gift them to naruto, (uzumaki - therefore only one with chakra pool great enough to use them) thus making naruto even more broken.
10:00 Pretty sure that Kakashi cut through the V2 tailbeast cloak with his chain raikiri during the war. So it would be not big problem for him to slice through four tails. And I don't think it's a good idea to compare Guy's gate punches with Kakashi's lighting blade, since it's completely different types of damage, like hummer and knife.
kakashi doesn't need to cancel out the whole shark wave, he just needs to cut through a few using his lightning to clear a path and reach Kisame. Not to mention, Kakashi is more cold blooded than guy and would blitz kisame like he did with kakuzu (unless if plot doesn't require him to).
Guy did most likeley grow stronger in shippuden as we can imagine that he does all the daily rutines and chalanges in the same way as lee but more extreme

Idk, they are always portrayed to be at the same level. Remember that Itachi and Kisame retreated as soon as guy showed up, but when Kakashi showed up they were happy to fight him. I am pretty sure 7th gate guy can beat any kakashi that isnt dms kakashi.
Also for the diva and asura path, Kakashi was still able to throw a chain while being pulled. So I think personally, that guy can pull some anime bs and "catch" the blade with his feet, then work from there. Don't think that pull into knife combo would be as effective as you think. Esp. if he uses the gates.
Maybe instead of guy vs obito, would it have been better as 8th gates guy taking on kaguya? Win condition is to just help sasuke and Naruto for as long as he can?
Kakashi is being so slept on in this video. He’s copied over 1000 jutsu so you saying he doesn’t have counters is asinine. He has hundreds of Jutsu we never seen. But Guy does stomp probably everyone.
The problem with saying "Kakashi has copied 1000 thousand justu, he sures has something that can help him in this situation" is that there are a lot of factors that we don't know about this hypotethical: ¿How much chakra it costs? ¿It requires prep time? ¿It causes self-damage? ¿Would it kill the oponent? If You want to use that argument You have to made up so many things that it just becomes unfair for Kakashi's oponent.
My opinions: 1. Zabuza may kill Gai faster. Yes Gai can open upto 5th gate, Gai have the upperhand in fist fight but Zabuza's signature is Silent Killing. Kakashi were able to react on it cause he has Sharingan. In real fight, Gai don't use inner gates right away. Zabuza may kill him before Gai knows his tricks. 2. Kakashi doesn't have to always copy Kisame's attacks. Raiton were Suiton's weakness. Kisame's actually in disadvantage. 3. Gai may use inner gates to destroy Kakuzu's masks but the problem is when inner gates worn out, Hidan has the chance to kill Gai. If Kakuzu uses the combination of Fuuton: Atsugai and Katon: Zukkoku, Gai may use Hirudora but he's pretty vulnerable after that. Hidan and Kakuzu maybe able to tank Hirudora. 4. Kakashi will absolutely get destroyed by the 4 tails. In early shippuden Kakashi's Kamui is slow. 5. Gai will be killed. Gai may use Inner Gate but Gai has no idea about Pain's abilities. And like you said he don't use any bunshins. If Pain uses Bansho Tenin, Its over cause they can't do anything unless you're a jinchuuriki that can create limb in your stomach. 6. Kakashi will be destroyed tbh or Kakashi will copy Kisame's jutsu so actually 50/50 and the fight will take longer. Kisame's jutsu aren't kekkei genkai so Kakashi could copy it and he may he creative in using Raiton there.
I would say we know Kakashi is fatigued against the Asura and Deva paths and is still able to perform well using his intelligence and smart ninjutsu. Guy can definitely blitz the Asura and Deva paths before Deva's push/pull come off cooldown.

Kakashi vs Kisame would be in the water and Kakashi has lightning and can clone himself if need be. This is basically war-arc Kakashi, so he has the Chakra. Similar to how Shikimaru used lightning on a pool of water Kakashi could perhaps use the water to make lightning AOE attacks to stop all the sharks.

I have a good one for you. What if Naruto came back from his two year training as Menma. Like how different woul the story change? Like it's still Naruto he still wants to be Hokage. He still wants to save Sasuke. But lets say after almost killing Jiraya in his 4 tails cloak instead of rejecting that power he decided to try and learn how to control it. And he somehow got all of Menmas abilities, Taijutsu skills analysis, Hax. Just think about how different that would change up the story. If he was THAT strong to begin with. Like how he stomps Kakashi in the bell test, his Confrontation in Shippuden with Orochimaru and Kabuto not even needing the 4 tails cloak, HIS First confrontation with Hebi Sasuke and how different that be. Like remember the scene where Sasuke Blitzed Naruto and Sakura as they couldn't even react to his base movement speed. Or where Sasuke tries to Suppress Menmas 9 tails and it simply doesn't work. Because Menma/Naruto in this situation have like a perfect Jinchuriki type of Bond. But Menma after absorbing back his 9 Mask Beast is stronger and faster than 9 tails chakra Mode Naruto which is faster than the Raikage! So it would be funny where Sasuke thinks he blitz Menma/Naruto, but Menma just Blitz him instead. Like Naruto with Menmas abilities changes the entire show up! Like it would be crazy how different the show would be. If Menma took Naruto's place at the beginning of Shippuden.

I guess he could copy it but remember that kisame has levels of chakra comparable to a tailed beast (thats why he is able go cast such large scale techniques such as spawning a lake out of thin air) so he might be able to replicate the jutsu but definetly not on the same scale

@@descendantofartorias2067 my guess is anybody can drain chakra, since that very same fodder genin you mentioned was able to do it, jirobo from the sound 4 also drains chakra, as well as shino's bugs. But it is something like the clone jutsu or the transformation jutsu, which everybody can do but has almost no applications in combat. Honestly kisame is just a very underexplained character, he has as much chakra as a tailed beast, but why? He doesnt even LOOK human to begin with, but why? So kishimoto wrote him like that without caring about a backstory or anything. There are loads of things in the verse we still dont know: how did orochimaru become a snake-human hybrid? How did hidan become 100% immortal?

I think kisame counters kakashi in a lot of ways. Kakashi is also kinda known for his low chakras supply he tends to run out in a lot of fights. Kakashi could likely clear the Intel round as well, since the Sharingan is so good at following movements, so Kakashi would most likely be able to keep track of that shark and snipe it with a smaller jutsu. He wouldn't be able to stop it in the same way Guy did, but he could stop it.

While, Minato was able to face 1,000 shinobi forces all by himself and lived through it. The third raikage faced 10 times the amount minato faced alone. With the third raikage dying of running out of chakra from fighting non stop instead of in battle. Minato faced 10% of what the third raikage faced. Or 9,000 more shinobis then Minato. While third raikage faced 9,980 more shinobi. Then the 20 that faced tobirama. That is 0.2 percent of the amount the third raikage faced. Also, the third raikage was so durable that he was able to fight against the full 8 tails all by himself and defeat the full 8 tails. In order for him to be used as a jinchuriki. The 8 tails did not even damage him the only thing that was able to damage him was himself on accident during that fight. Not only did he live from fighting alone against the full power bijjuu but he also defeated it. He did even die from that battle. The way be died was his fight against 10,000 shinobi. I feel like he would definitely be a match for madara with the third raikage alive. The only way he was defeated when reanmiated was himself. With naruto having help/intel from the person who knew of how he got that scar in the first place. With madara having no knowledge of that. I feel he would not be able to take the third raikage down. Kakashi having to catch up to Guy's power throughout the series makes sense. Kakashi was a prodigy but he didn't really train hard between Rin's death and the time skip. He got better because of experience but he never really developed himself. Guy on the other hand is training hard almost all the time and even if he does not have the natural gifts Kakashi has, he completely outworks Kakashi.
Doesn't ALWAYS matter. Sasuke and Naruto are both prodigies. Sakura actually is naturally gifted at Chakra control or couldn't learn Tsunade's techniques well enough to be relevant. (like how her assistant is pretty much completely forgotten) However, Lee is definitely the prime example of hard work in Naruto SOMETIMES being enough. But I'd argue almost everyone else has a good bloodline or whatever.
I'd argue Kakashi actually did train pretty hard, because he was rivals with Guy. He just PRETENDS to be lazy, mainly when training literal GENIN. Now, he's not pushing himself like Lee does... but it's not like he does nothing, either. I honestly believe that without multiple Gates, Kakashi could beat Guy, but he does have way more techniques and stuff. (Kakashi "the copy ninja" for copying "over 1,000 Jutsu") Although, Guy probably only needs around 2-4, I'd think... he would absolutely need them, imo.
@@Paradox-es3bl Ofcourse Kakashi beats Guy if Guy doesn't have multiple Gates because multiple Gates is part of the Jutsus Guy uses, similar to Kakashi with his Jutsus. Guy needs gates just as much as Kakashi needs Jutsus, its what they train for. We learned during the Gaara and Lee fight that opening Gates requires training and skill, thats why Kakashi was wondering if Lee was a "genius" after all.
Part of the reason I say Kakashi didn't train hard between Rin's death and the time skip is cause he doesn't really grow too much during that time. He was a Jounin at the age of 13 and had already mastered the Rasengan and created the Chidori. 13 years later he is still paralyzed by Orochimaru's pressence. He just turned Jounin at 13 and at the start of Naruto he is an elite Jounin/low Kage level so he definitely still grew stronger but was he really working on bettering himself or was that a byproduct of the life of a Ninja coupled with the fact that he has natural gifts. Whereas after the timeskip he had grown considerably stronger, closer to the power of the Sanin which paralyzed him years prior.
Guy on the other hand never really changed much throughout Shippuden. He releases as many Gates as he needs to when the time calls for it as show in his fight with Kisame. Hiradora one shot Kisame who is one of the better Akatsuki members. That feat is better than anything Kakashi did pre war and there is no indication that Guy couldn't do that in the past.

They're more likely rivals in power with Guy being a taijutsu user and Kakashi being at his strongest and fasted with his lightning blade at least if we're not including MS. So that should explain the databook spread. Also even if Guy is physically superior the databooks also state Kakashi is Konoha's strongest ninja or Jonin, which definitely includes Guy as a Konoha Shinobi. Also Kakashi has a Sharingan so he's copying any of Guy's taijutsu except stuff specific to the gates probably. Also it's not implied Guy surpasses Kakashi until opening the 8th Gate. Also for the other people in the comments you can't give Guy his war arc feats pre war arc because he and Kakashi are clearly superior to the Sannin from their feats in the war arc whereas pre war arc they are stated weaker than Pain Arc, Sage Mode Naruto who just freshly surpassed the Sannin and definitely doesn't scale to a MS Kakashi or 6th Gate Guy from the War.

The point of superiority that Pain had was that the rinnegan made using ninjutsu on him obsolete if he's looking at the attack, and the state of Six paths sage mode applies that immunity naturally to the whole body.
Guy's attacks still did damage to Six paths Madara because what he does not classify ninjutsu, (even Kisame said he couldn't absorb the Hirudora because IT WAS NOT CHAKRA), which is why he was the only one at that point in the war who COULD fight Madara.
The reason Guy (and Lee) was away was because his existence was the natural counter to that "immune to all ninjutsu" hack, and they needed the tension for the sake of the plot.
So guy would basically mid-diff to no-diff Pain in a fight.
Shenra tensei would still do its job, would it not? Only preta pain absorbed ninjutsu so the other paths are still a threat

@@schemar17 it's not something u can break out of (I think ur thinking about Chibaku Tensei). It's just a push move. And with Chibaku he will be crushed before he can break out if he gets trapped. By that time it's too late even tho I do believe 8 gates can break out. Assuming he somehow didn't get crushed to death if he uses 8 gates he will definitely die. Pain is a Sensory ninja so he can sense the build up of chakra and hide. Guy however can't sense where Pain is so it's an L that way too. He still would have to find Nagato if it was a 6v1 but using the 8 gates doesn't allow that so that's another L.
Remember also it's a Kakashi swap situation so he will only be fighting 2: Deva and Asura who I do believe he can kill if he uses the 8 gates but he will die and Naraka will revive them. That's another L.
Guy has too many Losing Conditions to win that overall fight.
A straight brawl vs the 6 Paths of Pain is another situation.

Regarding Guy vs Pain, I actually think he'd have an easier time in a 6v1 rather than the 2v1 in this video. If he only fought the 2 paths that kakashi did I agree that he would beat them, BUT by having to open at least the 6th gate and likely the 7th, he would have to recover after that fight and be unable to fight again when pain is revived.

Guy is my favorite jonin. He is just an amazing amped character and so easy to underestimate. And then you see he is actually the strongest. Not just edgy cool like half other characters, but a bit goofy funny guy.
I think people sleep on how intelligent and resourceful Guy is. Kakashi is always praised for how tactical he is when it comes to planning and analyzing situations. But Guy doesn't need to overthink or analyze because he can come up with tactics on the fly in mid combat with split second timing. In his fight with Obito he counter attacked him multiple times, while in mid air and even blocked an attack from a blindspot. He was fighting a man with hashirama cells, a sharingan, a rinnegan, the uchiha fan, and the one touch kamui hacks in his base form and was schooling him. Not to mention when he was fighting tailed beasts with kakashi, the whole time kakashi was trying to remember each tailed beast separately, Guy just battled them not being able to differentiate them even though all of them had extremely different abilities Guy still stood in the middle of them ready to counter attacks on the fly.

Kakashi definitely can stall long enough against Kisame or straight up beat him high diff. I say this because Itachi knows what the people around him are capable of (especially Kakashi having worked with him as an Anbu and knowing Kisame well since that's his Akatsuki partner) and when Kisame tells Kakashi he'd cut him up real good, Itachi stops him and warns/scolds Kisame by telling him if he takes Kakashi on-it wont be without cost. Implying it'll cost him his life or at the very least leave Kisame severely injured (so they'd be relative in power) but Kakashi has more experience and skill and the statement gives off "dont underestimate a foe who's actually stronger than you or more capable" vibes

I'd say Kakashi's sharingan and kamui can give him the win against kisame as far as preventing the Intel leak goes. He only has to follow one shark's movement and kamui that one to the other dimension. And I believe this is Kakashi's go to move being the smart analytical type he is. Maybe not use kamui right off the bat but he'll keep a close eye on the shark.
Overall, Kakashi is not going to fight the same way guy did. He'll be aware of his disadvantages and he'll try to stall till reinforcements arrive. Naruto would make his way over the quickest. Only reason why the didn't do so for guy was cause well, he really didn't need 'em.
At least that's what I think. Same time tho, the supershark bomb or the water prison could fuck Kakashi up if he gets hit with either before securing the Intel.
Personally, I doubt Kakashi will fall for it that easily and he makes the right judgement calls more often than not

About Guy vs Pain, I believe what would happen would be an interesting parallel to Rock Lee vs Sasuke in part 1. Even if the Rinnegan gives shared field of vision, it doesn't matter if each Pain can't physically follow Guy's movements. If Guy opens even the 5th gate, he soloes the 6 paths of Pain. None of them would be able to touch him, they only have a chance in a combo with Tendou like how he did to impale Kakashi's Lightning clone, but mind you that he might be able to resist Shinra Tensei and Banshou Ten'in as 6 tailed Naruto did. Even then, Tendou is not that hard to beat, since even 1st gate Guy could do a lot in 5 seconds. In Naruto's place Guy would do much better assuming he opens the gates from the get go.
Now, I don't know how he would deal with Chibaku Tensei, but to do that Tendou has to get the opportunity to flee and get closer to Nagato and not be intercepted by Guy.

2 small points: 1) the Rasenshuriken absolutely destroyed the 3th Raikage. But since he was an Edo Tensei, he regenerated.
2) It's Gai's entire kit that he trains every day to get stronger. That's his entire goal to always get stronger the next day. So Gai definitely gets stronger and stronger as time goes on.

For those saying kakashi would win against kisame, you really need to assess the situation. If he find the shark with the scroll and kamui’s it then it’s just gonna go to Obito (unbeknownst to kakashi). He can’t summon his ninja hounds, they’ll just get eaten alive by the sharks. He can’t raikiri the water without KO’ing both he and Kisame unless kakashi knows a way to discharge the lightning around himself which I don’t think has been shown (at that point in the series at least). Kakashi will be able to copy kisame’s jutsus at best all while trying to avoid sharks AND trying to stop the one with the scroll from getting away. Kakashi doesn’t have big jutsu to deal with all of that except by copying. Kisame would probably figure that out and water prison him: gg.
Would love a hypothetical about a confrontation between Itachi and Kisame and Asuma, Kurenai, Kakashi and Guy when they run into each other in part 1. I think its a potential fight that would've been pretty cool, especially with Kakashi being heavily fatigued from just being in tsukuyomi. Guy is obviously strong but idk if he would have gone all out with the gates in that circumstance, or if he even had the 7th gate mastered at that point. But I imagine there'd be some cool tactics and teamwork in this fight. If Guy takes point with his anti-sharingan technique, Asuma and Kurenai might be able to provide some support or run interference while giving Kakashi some time to recover a bit. The goal probably wouldn't be to defeat Itachi and Kisame, just to escape. But in this circumstance, Itachi and Kisame would choose to engage instead of retreating. I really wish we would've seen more akatsuki pairs fighting together, especially Itachi and Kidame since they compliment each other so well
Guy definitely had the 7th gate mastered at that point. When Lee and Gara are fighting Kakashi tells team 7 that guy is stronger than the kage. Throughout the series guy barely used 7th gate and the few times he did he was extremely fatigued or he was holding back like against kisame. He wasn't trying to kill kisame he was just trying to cripple him and even while only trying to cripple him kisame didn't come close to actually hurting 7th gate guy

Pretty spot on only thing id add is that kakashi has a jutsu for almost every scenario but he just spams shadow clones and raikiri like naruto with his shadow clones and rasengan. Also guys battle intelligence is actually pretty high and 7th gate guy is easy high kage level and could surprise the paths I dont believe hirudora can be absorbed

Swapping these is a great idea! And I was with you for most but I don’t think kisame escapes Kakashi. Kakashi has his Sharingan to be able to pinpoint which shark is real, something guy doesn’t which is why guy has to unleash wide scale techniques because he dissent have the skills to let him be precise in that scenario.

I mean, due to Guy having the 8th gate, he can technically do better than Kakashi with every opponent. Besides DMS Kakashi, Kakashi can’t perform to the level of the eight gates (most characters in Shippuden can’t lol). Not even a knock to Kakashi, Guy just has a crazy ass trump card.
This would be like saying "Itachi just Tsukuyomi's everyone". I mean yeah he could, but lots of his fights wouldn't make it that far as he wouldn't need to. It's also just a way of not talking about the fight

If Guy had been in the village, him and Kakashi would have handled pain until naruto arrived. The two of them would have been to much to handle. The only problems they faced were the summons and deva path.

On the Kakashi vs Kisame fight, Kisame's possession of samehada is why his fighting style goes on absorbing chakra from his opponent's ninjutsu as they fight while simultaneously inflicting damage to them, which leads them to making their chakra reserves too low to perform any ninjutsu against him as the fight drags on while making himself stronger.(explaining how he soloed the 4 tails jinchuriki, who seemed to be in harmony with his tailed beast).
This of course did not work on might Guy because there was no ninjutsu to feed on, so he just got jumped by raw punches that we're burning air and launching nuke level tiger shaped cannons if wind at him.
Kakashi on the other hand falls into that "ninjutsu snack" category that Kisame is used to fighting, and even though he CAN use taijutsu too, he's not on the level Guy was at to even match Kisame.(did you see how the water was waving along when Guy was simply flexing his nunchucks, on top of that shockwave from the side-force of the actual attack. Plus that one time BASE Guy punched the side of a cliff and THE WHOLE DAMN THING SHOOK. I KNOW Kakashi isn't on that level even on his good days).
Kakashi also can use Genjutsu, and Kisame isn't IMMUNE to it.

If guy wasn’t on said mission, the second the lead was attacked he would be by kakashi’s side. They would both understand that pain was a powerful opponent & there you have it, 6th gate guy & headband up, sharingan out Kakashi. Between both of them I doubt that sage mode naruto would have been required for pain. And they would arguably obtain the rinnegan and probably gift them to naruto, (uzumaki - therefore only one with chakra pool great enough to use them) thus making naruto even more broken.
10:00 Pretty sure that Kakashi cut through the V2 tailbeast cloak with his chain raikiri during the war. So it would be not big problem for him to slice through four tails. And I don't think it's a good idea to compare Guy's gate punches with Kakashi's lighting blade, since it's completely different types of damage, like hummer and knife.

kakashi doesn't need to cancel out the whole shark wave, he just needs to cut through a few using his lightning to clear a path and reach Kisame. Not to mention, Kakashi is more cold blooded than guy and would blitz kisame like he did with kakuzu (unless if plot doesn't require him to).

Idk, they are always portrayed to be at the same level. Remember that Itachi and Kisame retreated as soon as guy showed up, but when Kakashi showed up they were happy to fight him.

Also for the diva and asura path, Kakashi was still able to throw a chain while being pulled. So I think personally, that guy can pull some anime bs and "catch" the blade with his feet, then work from there. Don't think that pull into knife combo would be as effective as you think. Esp. if he uses the gates.

Kakashi is being so slept on in this video. He’s copied over 1000 jutsu so you saying he doesn’t have counters is asinine. He has hundreds of Jutsu we never seen. But Guy does stomp probably everyone.
The problem with saying "Kakashi has copied 1000 thousand justu, he sures has something that can help him in this situation" is that there are a lot of factors that we don't know about this hypotethical: ¿How much chakra it costs? ¿It requires prep time? ¿It causes self-damage? ¿Would it kill the oponent? If You want to use that argument You have to made up so many things that it just becomes unfair for Kakashi's oponent.
How would they swap fights in the Invasion of Konoha if they both fought alongside together!?
My opinions:
1. Zabuza may kill Gai faster. Yes Gai can open upto 5th gate, Gai have the upperhand in fist fight but Zabuza's signature is Silent Killing. Kakashi were able to react on it cause he has Sharingan. In real fight, Gai don't use inner gates right away. Zabuza may kill him before Gai knows his tricks.
2. Kakashi doesn't have to always copy Kisame's attacks. Raiton were Suiton's weakness. Kisame's actually in disadvantage.
3. Gai may use inner gates to destroy Kakuzu's masks but the problem is when inner gates worn out, Hidan has the chance to kill Gai. If Kakuzu uses the combination of Fuuton: Atsugai and Katon: Zukkoku, Gai may use Hirudora but he's pretty vulnerable after that. Hidan and Kakuzu maybe able to tank Hirudora.
4. Kakashi will absolutely get destroyed by the 4 tails. In early shippuden Kakashi's Kamui is slow.
5. Gai will be killed. Gai may use Inner Gate but Gai has no idea about Pain's abilities. And like you said he don't use any bunshins. If Pain uses Bansho Tenin, Its over cause they can't do anything unless you're a jinchuuriki that can create limb in your stomach.
6. Kakashi will be destroyed tbh or Kakashi will copy Kisame's jutsu so actually 50/50 and the fight will take longer. Kisame's jutsu aren't kekkei genkai so Kakashi could copy it and he may he creative in using Raiton there.
I would say we know Kakashi is fatigued against the Asura and Deva paths and is still able to perform well using his intelligence and smart ninjutsu. Guy can definitely blitz the Asura and Deva paths before Deva's push/pull come off cooldown.

that's part 1 kisame though, he's way stronger it shippuden. For example: Kisame get's beaten by base guy in part1, then in shippuden he forces guy to use 6th gate with a 30% clone.

Kakashi vs Kisame would be in the water and Kakashi has lightning and can clone himself if need be. This is basically war-arc Kakashi, so he has the Chakra.
Similar to how Shikimaru used lightning on a pool of water Kakashi could perhaps use the water to make lightning AOE attacks to stop all the sharks.

Like it's still Naruto he still wants to be Hokage. He still wants to save Sasuke. But lets say after almost killing Jiraya in his 4 tails cloak instead of rejecting that power he decided to try and learn how to control it. And he somehow got all of Menmas abilities, Taijutsu skills analysis, Hax. Just think about how different that would change up the story. If he was THAT strong to begin with. Like how he stomps Kakashi in the bell test, his Confrontation in Shippuden with Orochimaru and Kabuto not even needing the 4 tails cloak, HIS First confrontation with Hebi Sasuke and how different that be. Like remember the scene where Sasuke Blitzed Naruto and Sakura as they couldn't even react to his base movement speed. Or where Sasuke tries to Suppress Menmas 9 tails and it simply doesn't work. Because Menma/Naruto in this situation have like a perfect Jinchuriki type of Bond. But Menma after absorbing back his 9 Mask Beast is stronger and faster than 9 tails chakra Mode Naruto which is faster than the Raikage! So it would be funny where Sasuke thinks he blitz Menma/Naruto, but Menma just Blitz him instead. Like Naruto with Menmas abilities changes the entire show up! Like it would be crazy how different the show would be. If Menma took Naruto's place at the beginning of Shippuden.

I guess he could copy it but remember that kisame has levels of chakra comparable to a tailed beast (thats why he is able go cast such large scale techniques such as spawning a lake out of thin air) so he might be able to replicate the jutsu but definetly not on the same scale

@@descendantofartorias2067 my guess is anybody can drain chakra, since that very same fodder genin you mentioned was able to do it, jirobo from the sound 4 also drains chakra, as well as shino's bugs. But it is something like the clone jutsu or the transformation jutsu, which everybody can do but has almost no applications in combat. Honestly kisame is just a very underexplained character, he has as much chakra as a tailed beast, but why? He doesnt even LOOK human to begin with, but why?
You COULD theorize he is that way because of some nature chakra thing similar to sage mode, which turns ppl into animals, but we will never know
Honestly the most likely explanation is that Kisame is just a very minor character that doesnt have a big impact on the story, but is nevertheless written to be very powerful since he is an akatsuki member and Itachi's partner. So kishimoto wrote him like that without caring about a backstory or anything. There are loads of things in the verse we still dont know: how did orochimaru become a snake-human hybrid? How did hidan become 100% immortal?

So I agree that kakashi may be stronger than kisame at that point but unless he is able to kamui kisames head off I really don’t think he has a win con even taking the intel out of it. I think kisame counters kakashi in a lot of ways. Kakashi is also kinda known for his low chakras supply he tends to run out in a lot of fights. (Literally died from this) Against someone who doesent really run out and drains I just think it’s a bad matchup for him.
I feel like, for part 1 kishimoto writing, kakashi would replicate the sharks jutsu and put in each of those a scroll with a fake location. Doesn't make much sense but wanted to share my thoughts after taking a dump.

Kakashi could likely clear the Intel round as well, since the Sharingan is so good at following movements, so Kakashi would most likely be able to keep track of that shark and snipe it with a smaller jutsu. He wouldn't be able to stop it in the same way Guy did, but he could stop it.

With the only thing killing him was running out of chakra due to him fighting 10,000 shinobi for so long. It is also supported by when he was reanimated the only signs of major inflected wounds/damage that can be seen on him was the scar from him accidently hurting himself during his battle with the 8 tails. The only one that was able to hurt him was himself. When naruto did the raisenshurikan on kakazu it broke him down on a cellular level as being stated in naruto shippuden. It tour apart his masks into tiny cellular pieces as shown in the fight scene. As well as it broke him down internally on a cellular level. One shotting him, the same kakuzu that was stated to be immortal and fought hashirama and lived. It totally one shotted him on a cellular level. That same move that naruto used against the pains as well. He used rasenshurikan against the third raikage and it did not defeat him. The sealing team tried and seal him and he did not get sealed. The only thing that was able to defeat him was himself. By naruto precisely having him stab himself in the precise spot of his scar. That was inflicted upon himself in the past. Keep in mind as well. This was not alive third raikage and not the alive raikage. As we all know reanimations nerf the person from the original self. Especially people like hashirama. Anyways the third raikage was able to take on 10,000 elite shinobi whole alive. To put it in perspective Tobirama fought 20 elite kinkaku force shinobis. All by himself and died during that battle. While, Minato was able to face 1,000 shinobi forces all by himself and lived through it. The third raikage faced 10 times the amount minato faced alone. With the third raikage dying of running out of chakra from fighting non stop instead of in battle. Minato faced 10% of what the third raikage faced. Or 9,000 more shinobis then Minato. While third raikage faced 9,980 more shinobi. Then the 20 that faced tobirama. That is 0.2 percent of the amount the third raikage faced. Also, the third raikage was so durable that he was able to fight against the full 8 tails all by himself and defeat the full 8 tails. In order for him to be used as a jinchuriki. The 8 tails did not even damage him the only thing that was able to damage him was himself on accident during that fight. Not only did he live from fighting alone against the full power bijjuu but he also defeated it. He did even die from that battle. The way be died was his fight against 10,000 shinobi. I feel like he would definitely be a match for madara with the third raikage alive. The only way he was defeated when reanmiated was himself. With naruto having help/intel from the person who knew of how he got that scar in the first place. With madara having no knowledge of that. I feel he would not be able to take the third raikage down. Without by chance having him stab himself like naruto did. But that is a huge by chance. Not even close likely due to him having to have to be precise as well know his weakness. Like naruto did from the intel he got.

Pain would blow up the village, gai would go 8th gate and obliterate every path but be unable to find nagato. Nagato flees without reviving everyone. Unless Naruto shows up to find nagato, it would be cool to watch up until the 8th gate wears off, then it gets sad.
