The tough thing about scaling Kimmimaro is that we never see him defeated by an attack. Against Gaara he was still able to fight to the last moment were it not for the plot sickness, and as an Edo he wasn't sealed away. We just don't have anything that's the certain threshold of what can take Kimmimaro down.

I mean both of these are top tier, but Haku doesn't stand a chance against Kimmirmaro. When I watched the show for the first time, and there was the scene where Zabuza and Haku meet kid Kimimaro - my first takeaway was "wow these two almost died right here". That's not to say Haku and Zabuza don't clown on half the roster - because they are amazing and very underrated by the community. Thing is - Kimmimaro is just that guy. He'd clown on most the akatsuki.

what makes you say kid sasuke's chidori is lightning speed?, kid kakashi cutting a lightning bolt in half was the milestone for making kakashi's chidori be considered raikiri which is a different jutsu (chidori is considered A rank, raikiri is S rank its not just a different name). being a lightning timer is more so the caliber peak jonin/low kage and akatsuki level characters are at rather than kid sasuke who i can't think of another reason you'd say he was lightning speed. I do think kimmimaro is a lightning timer as he was still relevent in the war arc as an edo and in general is compared to start of shippuden sasuke.

Based on war arc feats Haku clearly wins.
We don't actually see Kimimaro Dodge a rasenshuriken in the manga.
On the other hand, we actually do get to see Haku fight against Guy, Lee and Kakashi.
Imo it was pretty clear that Haku only lost to Naruto because he held back.
It was even stated that he's stronger than Zabuza.
Base on feats + statements i think Haku just speedblitzes him before he can activate the curse mark.

But on the other hand, Kimimaro was strong enough for Orochimaru to regard him as helpful in the fight against Hiruzen. So Haku is probably above sick Kimimaro, but I think he would lose to Kimimaro in his prime before the illness started to nerf him.

@@giannixx oh I can't comment on Prime Kimimaro at all.
If you think Prime Kimimaro beats Haku that's totally fair.
I was comparing Haku and Kimimaro right before their deaths if they fought.
I think that version of Haku has way better feats than Sick Kimimaro

I have a couple reservations here. Now you are 110% correct that the only reason why Haku vs Naruto and Sasuke was even a fight - was because Haku held back and dindn't want to kill them. It's outright stated in canon that Haku could have killed them at any point of that fight, but chose not to. That being said, when Naruto did unleash the fox mode, Haku was pretty clearly outmatched. Some of it may have been just the shock of the fact Naruto moves faster than Haku but the point remains that fox Naruto physically overpowered Haku at that moment.
On the other hand Kimimaro didn't even take a single hit from a whole army of Naruto fox mode clones. Maybe the amount of fox Chakra wasn't as great as it was in the fight with Haku, so we can't tell for sure that Kimimaro would easily beat fox naruto in the land of waves, but it is an important scaling point - and most importantly, Haku's attacks mostly rely on the senbon. It was not his only skill, but by far the one he was most proficient and dangerous with - Kimmimaro demostrated the ability to cover his entire body with bone and said bones are durable enough to survive sand burial without any issues. And I'm sorry, but as much as Haku is amazing, I do not see the senbon doing more damage than sand burial, Haku loses his most important power. If we assume that Haku uses the ice mirror technique and showers kimimaro with senbon - even with full intent to kill, Kimmimaro may not be fast enough to react, but he can just stand there until Haku runs out of Senbon taking no damage - eventually Haku would make a mistake and give Kimmimaro an oppening to land a deadly hit

@@RancorSnp I agree and disagree with some things you've said here.
You're right that Naruto seemed to outmatch Haku in Kyuubi mode, but I'm not sure why? Haku is stated to be above Zabuza, so would that version of Naruto beat Zabuza? Or was Haku just holding back? I think he was holding back.
I agree that Kimimaro's durability is insane and Haku's senbon attacks are ineffective against the armor. HOWEVER, Haku wouldn't give him time to enter CM2 and would most likely speed blitz him mid transformation due to his war arc speed.
Moreover, Haku has mastered all of Zabuza's jutsu and is stated to be better than him, so can't he use water dragon Jutsu? I think Zabuza/Kakashi's strongest water Jutsu is stronger than kids Gaara's sand, so Haku may hurt Kimimaro with it.
I just don't see Kimimaro's win condition here. How does he catch Haku with an attack? Kimimaro was slower than kid Gaara's sand while a weakened Haku kept up with Kakashi and Guy in the war. Best case scenario for Kimimaro is he enters the fight with CM2 and Haku runs away because he can't pierce the armor.
