eggs: 1 pc

Disagree. Some people might be writing down notes (e.g. do they leave a gap at the edge of the pastry when spreading out the cream cheese? How much of a gap?). Not everyone cooks with a tablet in front of them.

I would say it’s just what we call Tasty cheese not Parmesan because there is too much of it and it would be over powering.

I might want to use spinach instead of parsley. I also would substitute prepared mayonnaise for the egg and oil in the dipping sauce just to avoid raw eggs.
I make these. I do not use feta...not a family favorite. Your spinach suggestion is what I use. A spinach dip wrap. Yummm

I use parsley and green onions. Then, add French feta. It is creamier than the regular feta turns to a delicious snack

I'd use Pepper Jack cheese and instead of parsley use green onion to provide some POP taste wise to the creation. 😮😊❤
Great idea, but some lengths of video were watching all the fets being crumbles and and all the pastry rolls being brushed with ragg, was unnecessary so just had to fast forward the video.
Or change the playback speed to x2 😉
Very delicious. This is European & Morocco style pastry. The raw egg is to seal the rolls & will cook anyway after she bake them. Relax ladies, try & enjoy it 😋

I use feta cheese, ricotta, goat cheese, garlic, chopped green onion tails and add spinach. I use CASCAVAL. European style. But you can add any kind of cheese, it turns out just as delicious.
For such a straight forward recipe, this video could have been one fifth of it's length. Also, the pastry looks to be uncooked at the end.

Cream cheese for the spread (use a herbed one and save time by not cutting up the herbs yourself), crumbled feta (or any other hard cheese) on top, and then grated whatever-you-like cheeses for the rest. Use your favourite cheeses, and make the recipe your own. Whatever you use is going to be delicious...good luck!
Personally I'd pop the roll in the freezer for 10 minutes before slicing it, but that's because I'm a clumsy clod :)
Too many cheeses, plus I'd hBe done egg wash before cutting the roll, and hot fed up watching everything everything being prepared and cut and mixed. Otherwise gives you ideas for a Christmas nibbles.
This cook spends far too much timef finishing each step. We get what she is doing and she just keeps doing it... too, too long

Nice recipe!👍🏼the second cheese looks fresh cheese very popular in some countries of Latinoamérica. We call it Queso Costeño in north Colombia, delicious with arepas(corn cakes) or other recipes👍🏼

I'm guessing tasty cheese because it looks a bit drier than cheddar. I don't think it would make that much of a difference anyway, they are similar in taste and melting wise. 🤔🙆♀️Any cheese could be used in this recipe really.

@@trkstatrksta8410 I’m not guessing dear. If you are familiar with cheeses you can recognise them. I added parmesan as my preferred option instead of the mozzarella she used on top and it was cheddar inside for sure. Well now at least you have some knowledge of choices you can make. Enjoy. 😊

@@carmelita7348 Not the egg wash. The dip at the end had a raw egg. Someone suggested a pasteurized egg which I looked up and is okay to be eaten raw.

I'd omit the feta (makes my tongue itch). Add spinach or finely chopped broccoli, rotisserie chicken, mozz/provolone/cheddar

I would use thin slices of prosciutto the toppings of more cheese is overkill on the cheese. I would top it with seeds or za atar. I would also use chopped basil or pesto instead of parsley. The pesto could be mixed with the cream cheese.
the cheese used twice looks like cheddar and i guess you pick strength mild, sharp . i’m guessing, but ill try with it. not sure about dipping sauce AWH?
