This as well as other tips from you MB is why I hit my 8 iron as far as you hit your 6. 180-190 is where my 8 is. Absolutely loving how far my ball striking has come this last year. Wish me luck on making it to my goals of playing professional golf by 2025. I will be 50 in July, and trying to get in position to Monday qualify for a Champions event. Thanks for all the help MB!

Michael, (assuming a good backswing) this is the best explanation and ‘feel’ for amateurs for the downswing. I have recently started doing the ‘push down’ like you demonstrate - from there I can swing as hard as I want and it all falls into place - amazing! The downswing can happen naturally if that initial move is understood 😃

Michael I may have missed it on your putter videos but could you address if there any benefit to a long counter balanced putter. Great channel and love your show on xm.

Three things tend to happen (not necessarily all at once) when I do this with my left hip and left leg:
    1. I pull the ball
    2. I top my fairway woods and hybrids
    3. I hurt my self
BTW, I'd sure like to know what kind if pants Michael is wearing. I'm trying to find pants that fit on the looser side around the legs. Golf pants are so slim fitting these days.
    Enjoying your videos😁

Do you do this with pitching wedge, just not as extreme?

I would say this is the same for every club. For driver though - same moves but upper body stays behind the ball and tilted slightly away from target for as long as possible. Irons - upper body more “covering” the ball.
