Barspin anywhere in Mac run is crazy 🤘
I can tell you were on a single speed because of how much more speed you were carrying through EVERYTHING on the chest cam. SS is the GOAT.
It was nice meeting you in the parking lot yesterday. Glad to see the Mr. Relatable can still rip around Macintosh Run even with all the changes you've made!
thanks for coming back to say hi!
Your smiling muscles must be exhausted, thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you for the support!!
I’m in class but will watch when I get home
It’s an okay one this one
@@Spindatt I’ll take your word for it
@@SpindattI say get a trickstuff trixer haha, just gotta sell a few more bikes
Just got to the point where you say not to suggest that haha
Another great video and I like the simplicity of this bike. I'm definately putting a giro on my next mountain bike build.
Those trails look like a ton of fun! If the Juin Tech brakes come with organics, you could try metallic pads. that might make the braking good enough.
The pull ratios between the lever and caliper aren’t right for the Juin techs!
@@Spindattoh, sorry, I thought you still had those on there. What brake are you running now? In any case, metallic pads are the way to go!
Took my newly built up Norton (I went with the frame only option) out for its inaugural ride this evening. What a great bike! So nimble and capable. Thanks for designing it!
amazing! such a fun bike
Which fork do you have on it? I'm thinking of getting a spare frame as I don't see this type of geometry getting stale on a hard tail anytime soon and eventually I will scratch it so bad
My brother gave me the stock fork from his Trek Roscoe 6 when he upgraded to another fork. It's an SR Suntour XCM 32, so very similar to what comes stock on the Norton, just with 120 mm of travel rather than 130.
@@kccauldron6411 free and durable is a great choice!
Excellent vlog and really impressive ride, man!
Thank you Tim!!
Next challenge, fire escape at that speed, no brakes 💥 lol
Would die hahaha
Wouldn’t be a cheap route but a thicker 2.0mm SRAM hs2 rotor and size up to a 180mm while you’re at it, that would help power and lever feel a bit. I’m assuming the brake pads are new? Also on the topic of brakes please take off the front rotor lol
lol I just need to put the front brake on, im just conflicted on which way I want to go: drilled star nut, or get an EDC top cap setup
Now you can really spin dat!
all in the name haha
I love this fuckin bike. That fast plant had some good tone to it.
its such a silly rig, I love it too haha
Try TRP spyke caliper with 180mm or 203mm rotor 👌
Yeah going to a 203 from the 180 is on the list for sure!
I think a seat actuated dropper would be cool on that bike if wireless model is out of the budget or no brand sends you one to try.
I actually kind of liked not having the post to ever think about!
@@SpindattI get it, I just can't live without it these days.
For some Frank’s red hot or whatever when the Heinz is done (Franks for your franks? lol)
thank you kindly!!
Yo! I've been looking forward to seeing Mr. Relatable's bars spinning on a trail 😁Why no front brake though? Should be possible to route it through the topcap and steerer, right? 🤔
Should be doable, honestly I kinda love the front disc with no brake though, like a fake out.
I just haven’t done it yet lol
@@Spindatt Haha! Okay - I get that. I love tinkering with bikes, but it's more important to get out and ride
My inner 3 year old lol'ed @ 6:16
a good fart will always make a laugh haha
Does the trail network in that area span that entire space? Looks like you could get lost out there.
You certainly can but they have a lot of new signage, and paint on the rocks! It’s pretty rad but the stuff is like a cheese grater if you go down!
yes! its a pretty dang big trail system, with more stuff being built regularly.
I just can't wait to ride dirt at Wentworth though lol
What gear are you running with that tensioner? 17tooth or were you able to fit a 18tooth?
I had an 18 on it before, but there is a 16t on there now
@@Spindatt thanks. Love your videos btw
Nice! Looks like you swapped the rear tire for the ride?
Had that maxxis on for a lil while now haha
More mass at the bar ends makes barspins easier on mtbs, in my experience anyway.
Nice ride.
Cool trail
They’re different for sure, I find it takes some getting used to when I jump from one to the other
bigger rotor?
Saving the pennies
Yeah buddy! Rippin’ the shit out of Fight trail. Out of curiosity what is said magic gear ratio you’re running on that bad boy. I know you mentioned it in a previous video but I’m too lazy to dig 😂
right now I have it at 28 x 16 with the reverse components tensioner!
definitely don't recommend going that quick down fire escape with one brake haha
@@Spindattyeah definitely will never try that on purpose! Sketchy enough with two brakes! Don’t think the video does justice to how fast that was
How come you run the back brake on the right? As I'm from the UK and we run the back brake on the left and front brake on the right
just sort of the way it is over this side of the pond haha
Personally I do it because it matches up with my shifters
@@Spindatt When you ride a motorbike does it feel weird having the front brake on the right?
What bike is that?
a red steel one
@@Spindatt Sweet but what's the brand?
Marino they are made to order from Peru.
