    Great great video thanks man!Would you beleive what brought me to this pedal is the simple fact that many pedals have a loud footswitch and since i play in small rooms you can hear me clicking my pedals on and off!!!So Boss has a really nice quiet footswitch AND now i can turn on 3 pedals at once!!!

    This must be the best demo of the LS-2 and I just bought one! It can power multiple units too with a daisy chain.

    Can you technically blend the clean tone of your amp and your effect pedals in one amp with the a/b mix?

  • @pvampman
    @pvampman Před 7 lety +1

    How would this work out when you need to run gain pedals (eq, overdrive, comps, ect...) in front of the amp input, and run your effects( delays,reverbs,chorus, flanger, phase,) through the loop in the back?

    • @Crypticmaskguitar
      @Crypticmaskguitar  Před 7 lety

      If You Are Using An Effects Loop You Will Be Selecting The Effects Loop On Your Amp Selector Which Will Be Completely Independent... If Your Using Your Rig Like What Is Stated Above You Don't Need This Pedal Unless You Use The EQ And Compressor For Separate Tones in which The Overdrive Would Be After The Line Selector Between The LS-2 and Amp Input And EQ And Comp In Seperate Modes (A/B). There Is Also A A/B/Mix Function In This Pedal As Well...

    • @pvampman
      @pvampman Před 7 lety

      TriCrow Studios yeah your right. the pedal only has one output, so running two separate setting for the front input, and back fx loop won't work. if it had two outs it would have worked perfect for me. one for the amp input, and one for the fx loop in the back.

      Depending on what you want, the ES and MS Switching Series may be what most benefits you as your rig all independently plugs into the system which allows you to create banks that are isolating which effects are being used as well as what order you want to use those effects , this is a great way to keep your favourite but noisiest pedals out of your loop when not using it. Also the MS-3 contains built in effects as well, Hope this helps- Kevin

    So, it is possible to run your guitar/bass into two different amps simultaneously, that is to have your input-signal going into both amps at the same time (so, not the output select-thing), by using this pedal (instead of using an aby pedal or whatever)?

    • @Crypticmaskguitar
      @Crypticmaskguitar  Před 6 lety +2

      Hey rjohnm1
      Yes It Is Possible If You Use The A B Mode Which Means You Click It Once And It Will Switch Between The Guitars. (Your Inputs Are Labeled Return A + Return B (NOT INPUT))
      A B Is The Option If You Wanna Select Just One Or The Other. (Note You Still Need To Connect A Chord To The Input Jack.
      Put Some Electrical Tape On The End Of The Patch Cord To Eliminate Any Interference Or Noise The Exposed Jack Could Make...
      (You Need Something In The Input Jack In Order For The Pedal To Turn On)...
      Best Part Of This Setup Is You Can Adjust Individually How Loud Each Guitar Is To Really Balance Your Volumes Perfectly
      Sorry For The Long Message,
      So Here Is A Breakdown For What You Want:
      Guitar 1 = Return A
      Guitar 2 = Return B
      Patch Chord = Input with Other End Having Wrapped In Electrical Tape To Eliminate Any Interference Or RF You Do Not Want To Have In Your Signal
      Output = Amplifier
      Mode = A B
      Levels Adjusted To Your Liking
      I Hope This Was Explained Well Enough And That I Was Able To Help You With What You Needed. Let Us Know How You Made Out And If You Came Across Any Issues

      Hey Mārtiņš Zālīte,
      Yes It Is Possible If You Use The A+B Mix Bypass Mode Which Means You Click It Once Both Inputs Are ON (Your Inputs Are Labeled Return A + Return B (NOT INPUT)) Or Click It Again Then It Will Bypass Or Mutes The Signal Which Is Great If It Is Noisy....
      A B Is The Option If You Wanna Select Just One Or The Other. (Note You Still Need To Connect A Chord To The Input Jack. You Can Use A Small Patch Cord Or Just The Headphone Attachment converter You Get With Good Headphones.
      Put Some Electrical Tape On The End Of The Patch Cord To Eliminate Any Interference Or Noise The Exposed Jack Could Make...
      (You Need Something In The Input Jack In Order For The Pedal To Turn On)...
      Best Part Of This Setup Is You Can Adjust Individually How Loud Each Pickup Is To Really Balance Your Signal Perfectly
      Sorry For Long Message,
      So Here Is A Breakdown For What You Want:
      Magnetic Pickups = Return A
      Piezo = Return B
      Patch Chord or Headphone Converter = Input
      Output = Amplification
      Mode = A + B Mix Bypass

      Thanks a lot! It works!!! My mistake was not activating the input jack. Actually the adapter plug for headphones alone didn't work. It activated the pedal only after plugging also the headphones into the adapter plug. (Patch cable works) So... this means, the pedal is great, can use in many different ways, also switching between two instruments on the stage. Nice. Thanks again Kevin!

    I really don’t understand how to use this pedal. If I use A and B send to send to two amps wtf do I put into the return? There is no seething on the pedal to have both the A, B, and output all on simultaneously. It’s either AB mix or bypass.

    • @Crypticmaskguitar
      @Crypticmaskguitar  Před 5 lety

      What Exactly Are You Trying To Achieve:
      A Stereo Rig?
      Or Have Up To 3 Selectable Amplifiers In 1 Pedal (Up To 3 Independent Or 2 Blended)?
      Also The Return Jacks Do Not Have To Be Used, They Are There To Complete Your Chain If Using 1 Amp (Output Jack To Amp) (Ex: 2 Different Effects Chains Would Need To Use The Return Jack In Order To Complete Thier Circuits)
      If This Doesn't Answer Your Question Send Me A List Of Your Rig And What You Want And I Will Write It Out For Ya< Just Need More Info And I Can Help You Out

      TriCrow Studios Thanks for the reply. My setup is I have four amps running into four cabinets. Two Marshall’s, two fenders. The Marshall’s I need to run off the stereo output on my chorus pedal. I also run all my delays and effects into these they are my wet amps. They need to be always on. The other two fender amps are for dry sound only to boost during solos. So I need to be able to switch off the fenders while I am playing rhythm and vocalist is singing and all that so I don’t drown him out and switch them back on during my solo parts. Here is a video of my basic setup czcams.com/video/QqHsizvgY7c/video.html

      Alright Exactly What I Needed To Know And A Super Easy Fix... Set Your LS-2 To A+B Mix Bypass Mode, Trust Me You'll Understand Why In A Second.
      Guitar To Wet Rig Setup
      >Guitar Plugs Into Input
      >Output Plugs Into Input Of Chorus Which You Stereo Outputted To Both Amps (That Goes To Your Marshall Wet Rig)
      Guitar To Dry Rig Setup
      >Send A Plugged Into Fender Amp 1
      >Send B Plugged Into Fender Amp 2
      Explanation
      1. Your Output Will Always Always Be On And Unaffected By Anything You Do With The Pedal In This Setting And As A Result Will Allow You To Keep Your Marshall Amps Always On Like You Wanted (Wet Rig)
      2. Where You Have Both Amps On Used In Wet Rig Via Stereo Chorus I Assume That Will Be Your First Pedal After Output And Into Your Marshalls Ensuring Both Amps Are On At All Times (Effects Going Into Effects Loops)
      3. A+B Mix Bypass Will Allow You To Select On And Off Your Fender Dry Rig (Both Amps) In One Click
      5. When You Click And See Red And Green Full Rig Is Engaged (All Four Amps Wet And Dry) And When Nothing Is Illuminated You Will Hear Only Your Wet Rig
      6. NOTE: Using The Pedal This Way Will Not Allow You To Use Your Level Knobs On The Pedal Which Should Not Be An Issue Because You Can Set The Levels Accordingly On Your Amplifiers
      I Hope This Solves And Answers Your Question"If Not Keep Writing, We Will Figure It Out" , (Very Nice, Serious Rig By The Way), Thank You Very Much For Checking Out Our Channel, Please Subscribe, And If There Is Anything Else I Can Help You With Let Us Know

      Yes you can, plug the guitars into the returns (guitar 1 in A, guitar 2 in B) dummy plug the input (Small Patch Cable and tape up the other end so u get no feedback bleed or weird sounds “this also allows the pedal to be engaged) plug your amp or rest of your pedals into output switch to A/B mode - Kevin
