    This is, by a long distance, the best demo of this pedal I've seen (and I've seen a few). Thank you. (I am now 100% sure I need the LS-2)

      Thankyou! I have been using them for years in different ways in different set ups. They are great utility devices.

      @@Isurusofficial Cool. I need something like this to compare different pedal chains to one another - still trying to finalise my board and it's really hard to compare one chain to another when you have to keep unplugging and re-routing.

    THANK YOU! for a no-BS, non-ego-driven simple demonstration of the pedal. Wish everyone did it like this. Rock on.

      I'm happy it helped! Yeah, there is quite a lot this pedal can do, it's a bit of a Swiss army knife!

    Good explanation! I have some buffers that don’t sound good in some old DOD pedals. I’m running more current pedals into a Tone King. So I want that main channel as best as can be! My options are lose their DOD pedals and buy new replacements with better buffers or true bypass. Or use what I have and get this to use my newer pedals, without the old DOD buffers dulling my amp.
    In reason this can save me from buying a $180 distortion pedal and another $150 chorus pedal. But also give me a second option to use my other Roland JC amp and put my other pedals on that and run two amps with volume control. Very compact and affordable way to do it!
    My DOD pedals are fine when engaged and sound great! Bud bypassed they have buffers that full the sound of my amp. So it’s a great way to fix that. But also experiment with two amps doing a wet and dry thigh. All for just around $100! Thing is my DOD pedals are better than some newer ones, and are up to $250 used on the market! So why ditch those? This solves that issue!

    Surprised you find the A - B - Bypass mode to be least useful - that's the one that gives you three states with one footswitch. Good demo anyway - thanks.

    • @Isurusofficial
      @Isurusofficial  Před 4 lety +1

      I guess it depends how you want to use it and how you set up your rig. It would be useful to switch between 3 effects or chains, but for me having to cycle through would be an issue. You cant go direct from bypass to B for example.

      @@Isurusofficial honesly, any thing i buy without that would be kinda usless. I want to record my self but recording with the efeccts in its not that practical.
      I see this as a center for the pedalboard, having to rewire everything each time is anti flow. I dont realy understand why people dont use this more.
      The only thing that i would like its to get the efects lines apart from the dry signal, this way you can always get the dry signal recorded, u never know what u will need to change later. U could always get it back to the effect lines anyway.

    Nice video. Could you connect two amp heads to the A & B signals and connect the output to a cabinet with one speaker?
    This way switching between amp A and amp B or mix both but using one single cabinet?

    • @Isurusofficial
      @Isurusofficial  Před 2 měsíci

      No, you wouldn't use this for speaker connections, very likely to damage the amps power section doing that.

    • @javiermelladomusica
      @javiermelladomusica Před 2 měsíci

      What gear would I need in order to get that?
      I imagine I need two switches, one to connect the guitar to each amp and then another one to connect the signal from each amp into the cabinet.
      Is this even possible?
      Thanks for your quick response!

    • @Isurusofficial
      @Isurusofficial  Před 2 měsíci

      Hi, you could use the LS2 to go from the guitar to two amps to switch and blend them, but you would need each amp to have its own speaker. You also may get ground loop hum, so one amp may need a transformer isolated unit like a Hum Eliminator between the LS2 and that amp so that both amps are isolated electrically from each other.
      The issue with your first idea, using the LS2 to switch amps to the same speaker is that you could have major issues with the amps not seeing the correct load (speaker resistance) which can cause serious damage to the amp. Switching speaker cabs can be done, but there are specific devices to do it and I'm afraid they are generally very expensive studio grade stuff.
      You are better off having a cab for each amp and switching the signal from the guitar to the amp inputs.

    • @Isurusofficial
      @Isurusofficial  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Yeah, or as many as you put in the loop. Think of it as switching between lines or chains of effects.

    Hello Brother. When using the Royal blood bass guitar, it sounds like using it on an electric guitar. It's like making 2 separate sounds with an instrument. It's correct .. Google translate sory

    Is the A+B-bypass mode in parallel?

  • @TheBlackHelicopterRevue
    @TheBlackHelicopterRevue Před 6 měsíci

    Are there any alternative pedals that have these features?

    • @Isurusofficial
      @Isurusofficial  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Yeah, a few. The Lehle D-Loop is an even more sophisticated design, but more expensive. You can get true bypass loopers from many small builders if you search, which will allow you to bring in different loops/chains and they are not buffered. There are plenty of options, but the LS2 has a lot of features and modes, and is reasonably cheap... It's best to know what you need your looper/bypass to do in your rig, and have a look at options. The Boss PSM5 is an older, more basic version of the LS2, I also have a video on that.

      The Joyo Orthros Line Selecter is a clone of this Boss pedal, available for a fraction of the price, with all the same features sans the extra power output.

    I loved your video!! I was wondering if you can run two inputs at once in A + B MIX -> bypass mode. I’m looking for a stereo boost pedal. And I just remembered this pedal from boss, I was wondering if I could do that with it. Use input and Return A and go out of output and Send A. And just raise the level of both A and B so it acts as a boost. I hope that makes sense haha thanks!!!!

    • @Isurusofficial
      @Isurusofficial  Před 4 lety

      To be honest, I don't know... but I think that probably would work as you have a separate level for A and B... just not sure how much boost you would get.

    How does it compare to the Swiss Things with a buffered loop for low impedence signals like a wah and a buffered loop for digital effaects.It also has an input for a volume pedal so as not to "suck" your tone!!Plus the Swiss seems easier to plug into!!Thanks!

    • @Isurusofficial
      @Isurusofficial  Před 5 lety +2

      I guess it depends what you need for your setup. So many tools these days, you just need to compare products and figure out what is the best solution.

  • @gpang788

    Hi if your connect it to 2 amps does it cut output to each amp by half?

    • @Isurusofficial
      @Isurusofficial  Před 2 lety +1

      No, the outputs are buffered. But it's probably not the best thing to use for dual amps as you might get ground loop and phase issues using both amps together. An ab or aby box with transformer isolated outputs designed for dual amp use would be better.

  • @Lucas-su5ng
    @Lucas-su5ng Před 2 lety

    Is it possible to use only two outputs in the output select mode for switching between only two chains? Or will the pedal always cycle between all three outputs?
