Meditation Lesson Two: Flowing in the Cosmic Flow

  • Dada explains the method and technique involved in Lesson 2 of spiritual meditation practice.
It is known both as “Brahmacarya” and “Madhuvidya”. Brahmacarya means to imbibe Brahma (The Supreme Consciousness) while performing every action. And Madhuvidya (Sweet Knowledge) is to feel that sweet, invisible presence of the One Being in every action.
When one is established in the second lesson one frees oneself from creating new future reactions from actions performed in the world. One remains in a blissful state even while dealing with the numerous events of external life.

Feels as you though you are speaking my heart since I had those experiences but also as a Guru explaining it since I did not understand what it was at that time. I thought I was going crazy and imagining all these things.

Every person has probably had a peaceful moment in their life when they have observed a beautiful landscape or sat on a park bench in a sunny weather. It feels good but they haven't realized that they have just tasted the piece of supreme consciousness. It feels so weird that we do it unconsciously yet it is universally a good feeling everyone can relate. Just looking at a tea mug and feeling the surface of it can be as blissful as vacation trip in distant country.

Another incredible video Dada and thank you.. though I learned about Brahmacarya mainly from Yogananda's writings (though he seldomly gave the actual name for it) it has happened to me spontaneously some times after deep ecstatic meditation. Most incredibly I remember taking the tube to go to central London and the train was full of luminous divine men and women. So much beauty in a packed London tube and so much sweetness, as you said! It was like I could only see the most beautiful characteristics and emanations of each person around. There was really nothing else to observe and feel apart from that. Though it lasts (for me) only for a small period of time, when it happens, its effects and realisation somehow stays with me and I can tune into it easier afterwards consciously. Seeing each other and all creation as a manifestation of God should be part of our daily practice, during mediation and in our every day activities. Bless you beautiful divine being, Namaskar

So I watched this video 3 times
    1. time i literally couldnt understand anything, kinda sounded like a crazy man talking
    2. Kinda got only 1 concept of the whole video
    3. Time, understood it, find it relatable and resonated well with my beliefs, logical mind.
I was following another guru on youtube, he helped me a lot, but then he become famous so tons of his videos had clickbaits title made by his followers , and most of his youtube fans were treating him like a hollywood star, like badmouthing and critisizing back anybody who disrepected the guru.
And i felt let down and decreased my yoga performances 🥲, bc i felt in love with his shape, i guess
And i should fall in love with the divinity entity inside him.

Dear Dada! Thank you for your elaboration on brahmacarya - what you describe as "move while eating" brings a new viewpoint to this matter. In deep practises of Pranayama when Kundalini rises, the taste of the nectar could maybe referred to as "food". So the yogi might be considered as "eating". The more you practise, the more consistent the flow becomes. Maybe this is also a way to see it ;)

    Greatings friend,
I will start off by talking about I, well me. And say I am not to fond of lesson's or teachings, of any kind. Kind of wierd since I have devoted my life to education/teaching. But never the less, I am a church goer and kristian at haert, allsow reconize the importance of self sacrafice may it be said. And most importantly, since the year 2015, I have grown A great respect for "may i call it, Hinduisme", and how this religieon weaves both fysical and mental, study, practice and training. Like A tapesty or quilt. Something that personly I miss in my religeon, but have found by grace A substitute. Meditation, basic yoga and A close friend with personal ties to his own, guru.
I have truly found my own path, that I wish too stay walking, apon. No more side roads, shortcuts or dead ends. Great feeling, free feeling. Centerd feeling. Unshackable infact!
I have no true purpose of saying this, but did feel it important to give back. Something, however small. Hope this finds you in the right light and may god be with you. Or god speed, if you wish. Take care and thank you to yourself, and the people behind creating great content as this and alike, for hungery minds in walks of life.
    Best regards, Thomas.
Ps, all comments are welcome, thanks.

I had to stop meditating. I’m very intuitive but I felt so open. It was to much. I can feel the energy of walking into a park. I have said prayers under a full moon and felt myself levitate. I have looked through a red colour and see an old man’s face which I presume is my guide. I’ve even seen the future before it happened. Does it settle down? I can sit next to people and feel what they feel, empathic. I would like to meditate again but unsure if I want to feel everything stronger than I can feel at times. Can it settle down? I wish to serve God. I pray each night and ask God to use my light for where it needs to go

    • @MeditationSteps
      @MeditationSteps  Před 3 lety

The best thing you can do in this situation is to serve God. How do you serve God? To serve his creation: to feed hungry people, to heal the sick ones, to calm the troubled, to water the flowers, to take care of animals, to teach the illiterate, to create a refuge for those who have none. Share love to all creations of God. This is service to God. In service there must be no self-interest, otherwise it isn't service. Besides, you have a good empathy.
If the subtle practices are painful, it is better to do them gradually. Pay more attention to Kirtan. Also, it is not clear which practices you perform. Not all practices are equally safe and trustworthy. We can only recommend practices on our channel that are safe.
