Teams are opting to play midfielders upfront. The #9 is dead. So its easy to say Harry is the best whem the competition is low.
Henry wasn't just a goal-scorer, he was a scorer or great goals; and he was also has some of the most assists in premiership history! He struck fear into defenders, the way he used to glide past them. I once saw him score a crazy back heel goas while being held in a gear hug by Quinton fortune!

Henry is faster, better technique, better big game mentality and more of a creator and more of a leader than Kane is. Physical strength is hard, they are pretty much equal. Like I said, Henry is more all round than Kane is.

To be fair, the question was 'All-round Striker'. Henry, undoubtedly, scored many many many goals. But Henry was more than just a Striker, he was a force of nature and still holds the records for the most assists in a season (a season he also scored 20+ goals). You might just be able to edge that Harry Kane might be the better 'Striker' in terms of % of shots and goals, but (up until Kane proves otherwise with his career) Henry is the much better player. (I'm an Arsenal fan).

Sol Campbell was going to leave Spurs about 3 years before he did leave. Teddy sheringham as the Spurs captain convinced him to stay saying the club was going places etc. Less than a week after sol signing teddy left for Man Utd. Sol and teddy have never spoken since. teddy returned to Spurs the same season sol campbell contract was up. So as a massive fuck off to teddy he joined arsenal over Man Utd.
Sheringham seemed to fall out with several of his team mates. he even fell out with Keane from their days at Forest.

People don't remember that the Invincibles went 49 games unbeaten, not just a season, and the 50th game was lost due to blatant corrupt refereeing. Who knows how far they could have gone, an incredible feat playing every match against 12 men.
I'll never forget being at Uni in Australia, a United supporter watching it over at mine, sleeping in my bed overnight, and not understanding why I just couldn't touch her that night after Rooney bought that penalty. Was absolutely gutted.

How can we even compare the two players?
To be able to understand just how good Henry was, you had to watch him in a full game. I don't care about goals, assists, stats or highlight reels. He was not merely a CF - as excellent as he was. He controlled games from the back. His football brain was mindblowing: he dictated the midfield and could see 4-5 passes ahead, and had a first touch and ball control that was second to nobody in the modern game.
He was consistently phenominal.
If his finishing was not so proficient he could have been one of the greatest CDM, CM, LW, RW or number 10 of all time. Henry was not merely a CF, like Kane.
Henry was a pure footballer.

Forwards have the luxury of playing against novice defenders these days. They're given the freedom of open back-lines and the protection of barely being touched ( 'contact' is seen as justification for Pen's, free kicks and super soft yellow cards).

Kane has done that plenty of times. He got 3 assists doing it last season in one single game. Creating is part of his toolset. Not the case with Henry. However Henry is the best Number 9 that’s ever been in the premier league. If there’s an opportunity to score it’s in the back of the net, the guy doesn’t miss. The other point is Kane is still half way through his career. Half way through Henry’s career, if someone said oh he’s miles ahead of George Best. At that moment in time, you’d think they were crazy. However after the legacy Henry left… I’d agree with that statement now. Kane has got a lot of years left to create a legacy.
