    If you recall his interview with the detective after his arrest, he was begging to see a psychologist for “the demon voices”. Well, he got his wish and is seeing the man who will help keep him in prison for life and explain in very clear detail exactly how not crazy he really is. This forensic psychologist is great! I was so impressed with his testimony too.

      You are correct on that. On February 14, 2018 in the evening and February 15, 2018 in the early morning he was asking to see a psychologist and then on March 1, 2021 in the afternoon and March 2, 2021 in the afternoon he finally had the chance to see a psychologist. I can tell by watching the video above.

    Hearing him go into detail about his victims is just so disgusting. Saying one's head blew up like a water balloon. And saying "they gave me a nasty look, so I shot em"... uh, of course they're going to give you a "nasty" look. You're coming at them with a gun. That look was fear, though. Maybe he doesn't know how to recognize fear.

    The most common theme that seems to run through almost all psychopaths is torturing animals at a young age. This has to be potentially one of the biggest red flags that your child is on a very dangerous path. If I caught my child doing something like that they would be getting a full factory reset to their way of thinking.

      Asking him to read the bit about a cheetah was a bit too on the nose. The psychiatrist's intent with that part was absolutely to push the jury towards the death penalty. With these people, everything they do is done with intent.

    Watching this after watching his first interrogation is completely different! He acted like he was crazy and started hyperventilating.. said he couldn’t even remember what his roommates name was after living with him for four months.. all the sudden he knows psychology..

    i've never heard this guy speak before, and before clicking on this vid i fully expected he would sound at the very least a bit sheepish or timid or coy, a bit of regret or remorse in his voice from thinking about the crime he committed

    This psychologist is amazing.. he definitely knew going into this nikolas was self inflated about jrotc being one of the best ones. he knew given the opportunity, nikolas would keep talking and he got to so many good topics. Leadership question was fkn gold. I mean he got him to say he fully understands that you dont pick a fight with someone and that you help someone who is in need…brilliant.

      They did that because at the time he was suffering from major anxiety and depression. You can tell he was sickly skinny and was freaking out in court. Reality had settled in for him on what he did and the consequences I'm sure.

    You know the most sickening part about watching this is knowing what I know now about this poor kid’s home life and how his parents treated him after months if not years of begging for help. I’m not by any means excusing what he did but watching this it’s almost like he feels, “Finally I’m getting attention.”

    So deeply unsettling to hear this young man talk about the murders he committed, the way he sinks his head in his arm while reliving the moment almost with some sort of guilty pride if that makes sense, the way he describes the chat he had with the other boy at McDonal’s who’s sister was laying dead back at Douglas, it’s just heart breaking, I remember that day I was driving down I-95 towards downtown Miami when the breaking news started and I said to my self, my heart goes out to all of the victims families who are about to start a journey of pain and sorrow just because a disturbed kid could buy a gun and use it against innocent children, will this ever stop, will we find a way to prevent this from ever happening again? I don’t know.

      his FREAKING family knew from the age of 3 that something was wrong he freaking killed animals multiple times they just turned away and ignored it instead of getting him help from a young age on! the sad thing is since his family is that way there was NO way to get him help or any chance to prevent this from happening which just makes my Blood boil and just breaks my heart because his family didnt give a SH.. alot of innocent people had their lives taken away by him

    I haven't heard him talk at length before. His mind is very sharp; quick thinking, good understanding, articulate, can compute info well, can retain it/good memory. It's just his emotional intelligence that is completely lacking. He doesn't get at all that the psych. is not on his side, that all the detail he's giving will prove his premeditation, capacity and intention. Such a huge discrepancy. Such a waste of lives - his victims and his own.

      I believe in rehabilitation. It works for other countries when they actually try and provide a healthier environment while incarcerated. But like you said, there's no coming back from this. Even if he could* be rehabilitated I feel that he's lost the right to that. You don't get to murder all those people without dire consequences
      Locking him away forever would be pointless. The death penalty would be the most appropriate punishment for what he's done.

      What on earth? And why are you thanking the psychiatrist for doing his job? It's his job. And exactly what kind of "self care" should he be doing? Since this is his job, he is used to dealing in a forensic environment. I used to work with arrested adolescents. I worked with Eric Smith for a year. He violently sodemized and murdered a 4yr old at age 13. My son was also 4 at the time . He tried to test me by telling me in detail what he did to see what my reaction would be. You just have to distance yourself and try not to bring it home or you will have nightmares. Listening to him calmly discuss how lizards would react when he skinned them alive and set them on fire at age 4. He appears to be anxious to talk about it, enjoying the memory of it, and quite proud of himself. Believe me, he is reveling in this whole process with the psychiatrist .

    He's a very thoughtful and orderly planning. Packed his bags night before, plenty of preparation, sited the rifle, deliberate actions. Cold calculating killer. Heartless - cruel - evil - gripped by crazy evil intentions. He has very very accurate recall of what he did. Permanent Jail - isn't really the solution.     He talked about doing this for years, planned it, dressed to fit in, shot kids multiple times as he maser multiple passes and pretended not to know who or where he was during arrest. How anyone disagreed with the death penalty is beyond me. Florida should reconsider all other cases now since this one didn’t apply

    The test questions the little creep wrote out from that military test are basic high school knowledge questions. Basic chemistry, history, and math which he didn't know. However he knew every single aspect of that military class and how to handle a weapon, which shows just where his interests have always been. This psychologist did a fantastic job! More than once he was able to bring out the killer in this kid, without the creep even fully being aware of it.

    It's even more disturbing when you realize he only wanted to be in the military to kill, couldn't pass the knowledge test to do so, so instead he shot up a school.

Soldiers fight for their country, or at least for their fellow man in arms, but this kid would have fought to kill and had enjoyed killing anyone he could have, enemy/comrade/civilian.       No, he is focused. You missed when he failed every one of his own proposed ASVAB questions minus the Napoleon one. He couldn't give the atoms of a molecule of water, he couldn't give the sqrt of 256. He can read, he can do basic math, he couldn't give the name of the Stanford prison experiment. He knows trivia on his focus mass shooting.

    At the end of the day all this kid need was attention, love, and a good role model..what he was did was a nightmare!! He had a wide range of mental issues such as ADHD and depression that the school and the state should have handled better. It's also unfathomable how someone with so many red flags was allowed to legally buy a gun. I am not excusing his actions in any shape or form. At the end of the day, he did something unspeakably horrible out of his own choice and deserves to spend the rest of his days in a prison cell.
