That Game 5 where LeBron and Kyrie both had 41 points might be the greatest duo performance I've ever seen in a live NBA Finals game. They were just automatic from the field and Kyrie truly couldn't miss and I'll never forget the pivot shot he made over Klay because of how elite the defense Klay was playing on him. The Knicks missed Steph by 1 pick in the 2009 draft (imagine if instead the warriors got Demar [who is still a beast in his own right] or someone else). The Knicks was also a potential landing spot for Lebron when he went into free agency before the start of the 2010-2011 season. And Amar’e went to the Knicks in 2010. So imagine Lebron, Steph, Amar’e Stoudemire, and later Tyson Chandler (and maybe Melo if he decided to go). I don’t know how the chemistry would’ve gone since that plays a factor, but on paper it’s understandable to conclude that this team would’ve been one of the most dangerous teams in NBA history in the long run.

That game 5 gave me chills Lebron and kyrie went off that was a hell of a series the last 3 games I remember watching game 7 and Lebron was not gonna let them lose he was a monster !!!! That will probably be his most memorable ring he has

Kyrie was in another dimension in those last 3 games of the 2016 Finals. Like he was makin INSANELY tough shots on a FANTASTIC defender like Klay. I did not think the Cavs could bring it back tbh. But game 4 changed the momentum of the whole series dramatically. LeBron and Kyrie combing for 82 at Oakland has gotta be the best duo performance I’ve seen in NBA history.

2016 was the peak of the 2010s period probably the best nba season ever , lebron and kyrie went god mode in the last 3 games of that 16 finals definitely the best game 7 in sports history

That 2016 LeBron and Kyrie duo was the coldest duo to come to fruition ever. Especially considering how insane the Splash Bros duo was and then it was like LeBron and Kyrie went super saiyan to beat them. They were just different. Unfortunate that other things got in the way, they would’ve continued to dominate today

I 100% agree that 2017 finals game 1 was the best basketball I’ve ever seen. Both teams were at their peak. But KD on the warriors was just too much.
