The definitions of certain terms on the bottom were great. Tying actions to past & currents iterations of teams (GSW, this years Kings) was dope too. As a huge NBA fan who doesn’t necessarily understand the X’s & O’s, I’m really enjoying this content

Ngl I'm not the biggest fan of lebron and love to debate his most diehard fans for fun, but this podcast so far has been actually VERY informative and useful if you want to learn more about the game and how to play it properly.

The other media doesnt cover this part at all, its all about who is "the man" and shit like this. Blown away that this content is free. Adding the relevant clips brings it to life and is such a nice touch. The segment where JJ starts drawing out a play (6:16), I think it could have been useful to have some on screen Xs and Os to help visualise the action better.

This might be the best podcast ever. Not basketball podcast. Any podcast. It is worth watching even not a basketball fan to observe the level of understanding and intelligence it is required to be in the highest level of any profession.

man lebron even bringing up the time he slipped just made him humble for me, I just felt like he admired the fact and the technicality and the unfairness that kd is in that team and he summarized the confusion and the struggle on who to guard on the kd warriors just based on that clip that it doesnt really matter if he slipped in that play.
I never noticed in that play how the ball bounces right in front of him on the way to KD. He was definitely preoccupied with other things.
And then the warriors told Wiggins to sit in the corner the last two years so Klay could try to reclaim greatness.
Watching this interaction, makes me realize LbJ is less of an X & O IQ kinda of guy. He's more of a feel kinda guy. He instinctually knows what do vs JJ geeks out about the X's and O's.
LBJ has both. It's awesome to listen to these thinkers of the game.
