SSUPD have rapidly become known for their mesh panel Mini ITX towers, the Meshroom D should come across as very familiar to those who know, except with a few changes and quirks!
First of all I want to address my hardware choices for this build. Whenever a new small form factor chassis hits the market I see SO many builds which essentially cram the hardware you'd typically find in a mid-tower, into a tiny case. This IMO is counterintuitive. If you want to maximise airflow, temps and ease of maintenance, smaller hardware makes total sense for a harmonious eco system. Just because the Meshroom D has space for a 4 slot GPU, full size ATX PSU and larger coolers, doesn't always mean you should.
Speaking of which, the Meshroom D has the capacity to mount fans or even a radiator to the bottom of the chassis. Given the tiny amount of space available to draw air, this wouldn't be ideal as demonstrated in the airflow visualization. The GPU fans were running at 100% speed and were still mostly incapable of creating any kind of static pressure to pull air through such a small space.
With those niggles out of the way, I actually really like the Meshroom D. It's a challenging build, but provided you understand the limitations then there's a lot to desire from a hardware support perspective.

There's always going to be some hardware limitations when it comes to building a small form factor PC. The Meshroom D has ample space with plenty of room to work with during the build process. Due to the mesh design, airflow is excellent and heat can be easily removed from inside the chassis. I'd like to see SSUPD refine the mesh panel retaining clips, as these are extremely tight which makes removing the panels difficult and sometimes causes them to bend.
Overall, I really like this case. A clean, minimalist design with plenty of airflow. What's not to like?
Huge thanks to Yunly, Klevv & FSP for supporting this project. It's been a real pleasure!

Must appreciate the minimalism - no forms of distraction, minimal background with nice color symetry. The camera angles are well positioned and focused. Very professional work to be seen here :). Also the part with bloopers is a fine touch
Thanks my dude! 😁 always enjoy reading comments like this, it’s a pleasure to share my work with you! Hope you have an awesome week 👌
@@Mr_Matt_Leewhat camera are you using? A+!
Your production quality is mad good, mate! Nice build
Thanks Jeff! Lots of time and care goes into these videos, so pleased you can appreciate it! 🖤
One nitpick. I would remove all music from the fan loudness part, at least between increases so there is no distraction, just the sound of the system fans.
@Mr_Matt_Lee Can u build air cooler at Fractal Design Define Nano S? 🥰
I found this channel 2 days ago and I can't stop watching your videos. Absolutely amazing.
Every part that you select for your builds compliment each other and look amazing! Digging the outtakes at the end of the recent videos as well.
The Visualization part where I was impressed the most. Great way for new builders to understand air flow.
I love these post credits scenes! Especially this one with the guitar, which shows that you're a man of many talents! 😁
Video editing and camera shots are just *chefs kiss*. You've become my favorite PC building/enthusiast channel because of it. That's tough to do given the competition. Also very much enjoyed the outtakes at the end :P
Thank you so much for the noise test. Noise is the biggest factor for me and very few channels even consider that a factor. Beautiful build
You’re welcome indeed! The noise and sound test is pretty new for the channel, but it’s something I’ll be consistently adding to all of my videos going forwards 😁🤜🤛
Impeccable presentation as always. Love the humor in this one. SMOL. (and the guitar)
Dude your editing and music are phenomenal! I love your videos man, too tier!
Loved the Blooper reel :D, also great build as usual.
I enjoy your humor and your presentation of precise execution. Keep up the good energy.
I love the build & the out takes👏👏😅
love the simplicity of this case very beautiful
Wow this dark build is awesome. Great work!
The perfect fit for me. Thanks for the video mate.

Sweet build once again Mr Matt Lee, and as usual your video is of the best quality. Keep going and much love to these videos you make.

What a work of art brother, I want to congratulate you for sharing these incredible videos with us. They helped me a lot in assembling my dream setup, I had the pleasure of assembling it piece by piece, what a quality filming, big hug from Brazil att Junior.
HELL YEAH!!! All black zero rgb mesh build looks sooooo perfect...
I´ve aprecciated a lot this build! Cheers from Brazil Mr. Matt Lee! 😜
I honestly think your the best tech CZcamsr because your videos are like amsr for multiple senses. My eyes are happy, and my ears. Constantly it’s so satisfying, and then you include stuff others don’t like showing the airflow of the case which is honestly super cool I really wanna know how you do that
Mr matt lee,
back again with another sleek and enjoyable build
Stoked! Hope you’re having an awesome Monday so far! 😁
The new format at the end of the video is so cool and funny xD, you are very creative Matt.
It is soooooo satisfying to watch your builds 💪💪
Videos and editing are top notch holy
I love the build, so clean and easy. Thanks.
love the production element really impressed and great build
Crazy Build!! I have been following various itx build over the internet since its my desire to have a sleek ITX build. But sadly ITX components are very rare to find in my country and also they are uber costly. Keep up ur good work. U r an inspiration for many.
The case measurements and the ending was gold 🤣
the airflow visualization part went crazy!!
Nice build and awesome outtakes :D 👋
Such amazing work honestly would love to see like a budget build type of these ❤ keep up the great work
only word for this production level is EPIC.
Another One! Thnx brotha for this Awesome Video! Blessed New Week! ☕️💪🏻👊🏻
wow, _super clean_
Best episode yet, love the motage!
I just love the title. The "No nonsense" build, heck yeah!!
Awesome! build and edit Matt. Always enjoy watching your content my friend. Stay safe and well, catcha on the next one! Cheers - Jass & Jacqui E.
Yeay, an ITX build. Love those small form factors. Recently built myself one in or rather on an XTIA case. And yes, I totally get your comment on so many stuffed builds out there. Your approach to components selection is refreshing. Cheers!
And…how you bring in the guitar like it‘s always been there and totally belongs to this video is just awesome.
The outtakes 💀 Another 🔥 build 🤌🏾✨
Customer builds?
Love the idea, great build.
I couldn't imagine having a sick video of my build on CZcams😆
It wasn’t a customer build so to speak, more a subscriber request for inspiration. That being said, I’d definitely like to do an actual customer build for the channel haha 😅
You gained a subscriber mate!! Great content keep it coming
I like this style of video, and sweet build too.
One of the best Content Creator out there right now. Music is on point, editing is smooth and every shot looks like one out of a Movie.
One day i wanna do great content like this too.
Outtakes were really awesome 😂
Nice work, Keanu.
Wow i love the Look of that case!
Probably one of the best ways to configure this pc case!
Would love to see cooling benchmarks to see how effective before buying
I could watch your Pc build videos all day long
Amazing video, thank you so much
Everything in your videos works perfectly. Satisfying! Keep up your good work. Greetings from Germany!
Mr, at every video, the level is higher and higher than the previous one, everytime 💪✌
I never miss a video every Monday. I work from home and while I'm work I watch your videos 😉😅.
This! Love this. You’re allowed to procrastinate, I’ll allow it haha 😅
Very good job !!! :)
Thats the way to build in a small form factor. Good parts selection. Anyone would be lucky to have such a computer.
Hello, thanks for sharing. I've been using.this case.for a few months now. Even installed a dual 240mm rad custom loop. The build quality is only acceptable. Now Im convinced that they had budet oriented builds in mind. Because you dont need any intake or exhaust fans to keep it cool, because of so much natural airflow. 😊
Even his out-takes look good!
just nailed it❤
Always amazed at the final result. Good job!!!
I was wondering where do you find these fantastic wallpapers?
Awesome ♥
You take "pc building" to a new level.. great
I can't wait for SSUPD to sell this case. I love it.
i am addicted to your videos
such an honor we can see u full smile in ending of this content sir
we used to see u as a cool black metal emo gothic (?) guy before ahahaha
the accoustic session too, its cracked ayooo!!!
thousands love for this contents
waiting for this case
Considering the recent YT tech climate [read: drama], for the mature tech community, this delivers. Again. Production is amazing. Again.
outtakes was a great idea for video, you should do it every vid. Good point to content divercity
Wish I could give an extra thumbs up for those outtakes at the end.
Clean & simple
Thanks!
Thank you so much! 😁🤜🤛 Your support is most appreciated Qatare!
Another banger of a video mate! Loving the Monday uploads a great start to the new week. To think you can get a RTX 4070 in this tiny little case is amazing, I just wish the case was a little cheaper but you have to pay up for ITX these days unfortunately.
cool dude!!
Just how I like. Simple and effective.
It's a small, stylish and beautiful build!
As beautiful as the flow of your videos!
My English is poor, sorry.
I like the last part hehehe
W for the guitar!
new subscriber u video popped up on recommendation nice set up
clean and cool
epic beauty good case good review thx
Brother, your builds are great but your videos are the true art here. You could build things from match sticks or just play with goo. Im going to watch Your videos are world class.
8:56 that was smooth af
The Ending Was The Best Part 😂
😅 I must admit, I’m totally loving sharing some of the outtakes with you!
nice,, great to show the little hiccups that most people go through, plus nice guitar.
Amazing
Matt, youre the coolest person to ever touch pc parts
Awesome video quality. And awesome build. It looks so minimalistic and esthetically pleasing. If I could find some decently priced mITX boards for my spare R5 2600, I would love to make a build similar to this one.
Your videos make me want to rebuild my whole pc 😅
love this build
Simple, sylish & elegant 🙂
@@Mr_Matt_Lee yes, pure style!
Please show a full setup with peripherals! I'm an oldie hardcore tech dude and would like to see it maxed out running Linux. However, the videography and setups are superb. Well done chaps!
Exceletne Videos, si podes hace mas Setup Minimalistas !!! Saludos desde ARGENTINA
Спасибо за ваши ролики!
Smexy in Black! ♥
The Best is Back
🥰 feeling the love!
Best itx build I've seen. Very simple and intuitive. One question, you listed a fan splitter in the parts list, I think I missed where this was installed. I'm going to attempt to build this as my first itx build...so if this is something regular builders already know I apologize in advance 🙏🏿
No stupid intro, no nonsense talking just chilling music and a person building an awesome PC. Thank you again Matt more power!
Thanks so much my friend 😁 Glad you enjoyed the video!
dude asked how small. Mr Lee said yes and build him a toaster. love it :D
