Bought this case, it´s the most versitile mini itx case I ever had (I had Cooler Master NR200, Lian Li TU150, Silverstone SG13B, Corsair 250D). You can mount PSU multiple ways, top can be bottom, power cable can be reposition, power button can be reposition, fan mounts on top, bottom, front and back, water cool up to 240mm, IO can be moved to top or bottom, I can deshorud my GPU to let 2x140mm cool it, etc
You're killing it with the intros!, thanks for sharing thoughts and comparison with things like big graphic cards, pros and cons , and what you used to control cooling with the NZXT AIO.
Awesome review! would be great to see a visualization of different cooling options (temps CPU & GPU vs noise)!
Great videos. To the point, clean and clear.
I went to the main site after looking at your review of the case. What caught my eye in the explanations was the capability to install 3 x 3.5" Drives. Which most cases otherwise, would be the most difficult thing to do.
I did this build, the Corsair adapter allows a 4090fe to fit without issues. Running a 7800x3d, d12l cooler, 1x140mm exhaust fan on the side, Corsair adapter on the 4090 FE, 80mm rear exhaust fan. It all fits. Even with an SFXL power supply
the corsair adapter? like their 12vhpwr cable that they sell or are you talking about something else, cuz honestly that's the only thing stopping me from getting this case
@akdiddy666 what are your CPU temps?
Is D12 set as exhaust as well?
There are usually 180 degree power adapters available. I had to get one for my build. They’re not expensive and really opens up mounting options.
I have a small suggestion that could come in handy to some group of people. When you show CPU temps or even GPU temps, show also a fan RPM's, that way we will have some idea about potential noise floor that specific build will have in this case (not ideal but better then without this info).
this looks great, for those who wanted a Dan C4 SFX but couldnt get one, this might be a suitable replacement
production quality top tier as always, great video
Again...Beautiful build!
There is some slim U-shape pci-e connectors that can move the connector to the top of the gpu, but can hit the aio / aircooler depends to its position.
Awesome build👍
This is what I actually like, even your black hoodie that catch my attention most
Great stuff. Thanks.
bruh why your clips always are so clean. got a sub from me.
Awesome video bro!
Your videos are so clean and to the point. Subbed and I will def be getting this case!
🤦
Nice review. Thanks. I hope shortly Corsair will work out some miniTX chase. 😊
10 mins before I was searching for Meshroom D in CZcams 😂🤩♥️ Your video is out now 👍
Love from India 🇮🇳
nice vid as always
Nice vid, this case is like a proper side up C4 SFX 😂
Perhaps the new Corsairs 12VHPWR-adapter will fit with the FE cards from nVidia. I see that the case also does fit an mini-DTX like my Asus Impact X570 board. I'm interested.
Can you also do some cooler/fan configuration on the regular CM NR200
A great thing for sane money! Just created for iron with a total consumption of no more than 300 watts. 12400 + 4070 will fit perfectly, but for something hot you need a bigger case.
Worth mentioning the nr200p has relatively large feet compared to the meshroom, you can get smaller, even print your own to get the height you want, just thought id put this out there as they are very similar in dimension
You mean print a case or print the feet? How would I go about that? Is it worth it?
print feet. there are free ones online
@@veralium29
could motherboard standoffs be lowered a little so that a nh-d12l could fit perfectly?
What do you think would be the best case for lan parties. My main pc is way to large and heavy to be bringing it with me to play games at my friends house.
SSUPD has never missed ever since their debut
if it could fit a 4 slot graphics card it would be close to itx perfection if the build quality is on point. wish they would get rid of the support for ATX mobo and psu and just commit to SFX with their ITX cases.
really liked how you laid the other itx cases together though. great vid as always.
Meshroom S can
I have a meshlicious myself, but love this (sandwich?) design. was considering the Form T1...but...
hey do you think its possible to mount a fan controller in the system with 2 2.5 ssds? And also how do you think the noctua Nh C-14s would fit with the 140 mm fans mounted on the bottom with the 140 mm side fans?
Could you make an update video showing the new accessories and the vertical setup
it's an excellent case.
Which direction did you have the NH-L12S fan blowing in your config? I would think it would be away from the motherboard with the 2x140mm in exhaust modes. I really like that config as it seems better than blocking all the airflow with a huge heatsink - and your results seem to bear it out.
Very good video. 🙏
What flexible cables do you recommend?
Might be my next build
Does this case have passthrough holes near the rear for watercooling?
Would this be a good case to use until the next version of the Dancase C4 actually releases? It seems like this case is the most transferable to that.
When u set your side fans to exhaust with your low profile CPU cooler, did you flip over the fan for the CPU cooler as well to achieve 5 degrees difference in temp?
Would like to see how a mATX fits in there. For an sfx pro pc, more ram and m.2s, are very welcome.
I'm interested in this case but I love the ASUS PRIME 201 (mesh) too. Still don't know what to choose.
I would love to see this compared to the Formd T1
DAMNIT and i just built a Meshroom S. THIS IS SICK!!!!!
how wide exactly is the gpu able to be without the power cable stopping the panel to close, thinking of upgrading to a mini itx 12600k 3080 from a 4000d 11600ks 3060 ti
Maybe i suggest visual airflow diagram in future videos like Mr. Matt Lee on youtube. I surely would appreciate it as it provides a nice visualization of how good or bad airflow is in systems.
Can you do a review for Dan C4 SFX, nice quality though.
can you fit 2 140mm slims on the bottom of the case and one on top of the mobo side?
i'm curious what would happen if you used1 push and 1 pull for the 2 fans, probably not most efficient but just curious
Is it possible to have a build with a 7950x or upcoming 9950x ?
I've got this case with a 7800x3D and an Asus rog b650e and a 7900 XT. I purchased the D12L but after watching this I'm not sure now if I should go with a C14s + 2 exhaust fans, so I've ordered one today. Still have to start the build. Any advice?
Just curious what do you do for a living?
The width issue is a dealbreaker. I bought a narrow case once and won't make that mistake again, especially since I prefer big air coolers for my CPU.
Im lost. Im using a 240mm ek cr240 dark on a ryzen 7 7700 (non x) so you would think tempe would be cold but my idle temps are around 40°c and load temps jump to 75-80°c not sure if i got a dud with the silicone in my chip or the aio or if i should go with the dual tower air cooler and add a 140mm exhaust
I build one too, with 11900K and MSI RTX 3080 and an AIO CPU Cooler by cooler master. First at all, other than in this video, the manual says that the AIO Fans have to intake the airflow in the case. So they are mounted between the radiator and the case panel. Not IN the case. Like in the video. Than u get better temps. I matched it with a 11900K @ 5 GHz at 1.235V for mostly max 65 degrees and an undervolted 3080 1830 MHz at 850mV for around max 72 degrees. It depends on the game. Especially „The Finals“. Than the whole case in on fire.
I don’t recommend to use an ATX PSU because you haven’t enough space to build. If u want to use an AIO by arctic, maybe th liquid freezer 240, it doesn’t fit, because the tubes at the pump aren’t bendable. So they push in the radiator and you can’t mount the radiator.
I would recommend to use a smaller GPU without an extreme overclocking setup. My 3080 had before the undervolting always an heat limitation because the card takes so much power, standard config by msi, that it gets hotter and hotter (max. Locked Temperatur is 83 degree) . After the undervolting everything is still and cool.
I play in 2k and i want alle the fps i can get.
I would recommend to use this case and its setup for 1080p or for a fixed fps like 60 so you don’t have to optimize the whole system.
I hope that i could help u with my experience. :)
I recently upgraded my pc with the same motherboard and cpu combo but I'm running into some issues, like no output and not posting at all. I was wondering if you had any of these issues.
I have this case with and air setup. Basically the exact same as he had it with the 140mm fans set to exhaust but my thermals are way higher. My gpu gets to 85C :(
Hi , i have Atx psu and 240 mm Aio withe Itx motherboard. Is it gonna fit inside this case. 😅
with atx psu and aio it's can?
im doing the exact same build , we need a performance video FPS and Stats for MW2 and other games pls
dream mini workstation machine (can fit matx mobo = more ram)
Does the power supply come with 12vhpwr cable?
can i use 240 rad with atx psu at the same time?
nice case. 😁😁😁
Just started watching your channel Devyn and it is great for smaller builds. Do you think the meshroom D is ok to use the Asus SFX-L PSU you used in a different build? Would it be too long to fit in this case? Thanks and keep up the great work! 🙌
any mini case would fit in a 360 cpu cooler and 3080ti?
Will this fit an ASUS 4090? Know any itx cases that will?
In their promotional images they use an NHD12L which is odd considering it's above their maximum height.
Hello guys, can anyone confirm if this case can support the Liquid Freezer 3 240 AIO ? I want to upgrade my mini itx case to this one and also upgrade form 120 aio to the aforementioned one but i worry about hte height of the pump and the width of the freezer 3 240
One issue...horizontally mounting a GPU that uses a vapor chamber for cooling (most of the current generation of GPUs) causes them to be less effective.
Big noctua cooler with back fan pulling air in and one side fan set to exhaust??
Would a 280mm liquid CPU cooler radiator fit?
When's the release? I want one
The case is just 1.5-2,5cm too narrow. That would make the 4090FE fit and also a better CPU air cooler.
A power button on the back is also strange for me...and no reset button.
reminds me of the c4SFX
With your L12S setup, did you have the CPU fan pushing air up through the heat sink when the fans on the case where set to intake and/or exhaust. Im trying to track down the reason why mine runs much hotter than yours with more fans shoved in my case. I have the C14S with a dual fan set up both in exhaust and my temps are always around 75-80 in games so far. I would think with my bigger heat sink i should see lower temps that. Might just be my fan curves are set wrong as well
pretty sure he had the L12s set to push the air through the heat sink.
What is an extender bracket?
i wish ssupd produce case like that but with lower volume (9to11l) :c
can additional fans be added on top of the case?
also this might sound weird but if I get this case, I’d probably flip the case upside down so that the gpu gets a little more airflow 😅
hmm give me updates if you do that, very curious
why not just get the meshlicious or the meshroom S then?
Hey Devyn and comment section. What is the FPS and Temp overlay you are using ingame?
MSI Afterburner
@@devyn.johnston Thanks! but how did you manage to make it look like that then? :D
As someone who built a 12700kf build in a NZXT H1 V2, this is definitely the one I should have waited for
I just bought a H1 V2 and while it's being shipped I'm having second thoughts, if you don't mind me asking what exactly bothered you with the H1?
@@NeoVesterit's great and a perfect choice for the itx size, I personally just have high end parts in it and it just gets a little warmer than I would like, and it's not that bad I Max out at ~85c but I want something with a fan or 2 more.
Hi can this fit a 4090 FE?
Ummm are you sure it fits an mATX motherboard? Meshroom's page does not say that at all. I allmost bought it because of what you said :p.
Ong this is exactly what I want
same bro but the dumbass problem with the graphics card power connecter is making me not want to get it
They could have added just a few mm
Literally is what im searching for, a ITX case that can fit 2 x 3.5 HDDs
OMG*
buy it then
FormD T1 V2, nothing else.
Even the 3-Slot 4090FE fits 👍
Hi guys im new to ssf. I Gott 1,5k to spend for my First itx Build. Playing Valorant and Diablo 4. Any recommendation which Parts to Choose? Thx for help
Another air cooler option: The Thermalright Silver Soul 135 at 135mm.
You're right and the SI-100 Low profile too -at only 100mm high is perfect because it also blows air to all the components on the mobo (PCH, VRM and SSDs)-
Do you have that top down Noctua Cooler set to exhaust out of the case or onto the mobo? I'm a little curious how VRM/chipset temps are. If you can set the CPU cooler to exhaust out of the case and not have it hinder chipset temps in any meaningul way, then that setup seem pretty ideal for airflow.
I also get the impression that this case would work great with any smaller GPU than these big boys on the high end. This setup also makes me really curious about using a card like the one you showed in this build with a deshroud. I assume you can get great temps and lower thermals with some noctuas, and you'd probably have the right amout of space to do it.
I assume the SSD bracket fits well even with the exhaust fans along the side, correct?
Seems like a great case overall. I honestly might consider it down the line.
The NH-L12S is set to exhaust, so the airflow direction is blowing away from the motherboard. And yes, with the case fans attached, there is still room to mount the ssd's.
The best case that will destroy this category is Dan case a3 matx , though it's taking forever to be released
Is there a micro ATX option
looking to swap my Lian Li A4 h20 into this case. running a 240mm rad, Ryzen 7 7700, and sapphire pulse 7900 xt. I plan to try and get a top exhaust fan as well as a front for sure an Arctic P14 slim fan intake and a 92mm Arctic exhaust fan with my AIO being an exhaust with the Arctic P12 PWM PST fans. (current CPU idle temps are at 49C don't ask me how I have it at a 1.125V UV and an 85w cap Why it's not cooler on idle after reseating CPU pump block with 3 different thermal pastes it has to be the chip itself)
Currently in the market for comparing this Meshroom D and the A4-H20. May I ask you personal reasons for looking to switch over? Thanks in advance!
@@arksnoah if you haven't gotten a case yet. i'm going to be switching from the meshroom s to a meshroom d mainly because of no pcie riser, a little cheaper, and i prefer a landscape orientation. i have also used an a4 h2o. i didn't stick with it because the meshroom cases just provide better thermals.
@@d00finthanks for the reply! I ended up buying the Meshroom D and put a 4090 and 7800x3d in it. It's amazing.
MATX testing on the case would be nice.
hola cabe una grafica con las medidas GPU : 316 x 121 x 56 mm ?? SALUDOS
Can you build in the KXRORS S500? It is normally a $200 case.
I have the case and am planning a build soon!
@@devyn.johnston Ok, cool and thanks. I’ve been considering buying the case but I’m still wandering the liter size of the case. The S400 is supposed to be slightly under 11L so I’ve been trying to figure it out.
SSUPD has unique cases
Can you please let me know what ambient temperature of the room was when you recorded your CPU and GPU temps?
23°C
Thanks
negative pressure when theres little room for cool air to travel in a SFF makes a lot of sense.
Wonder if the noctua NH-C14S would make the cpu even cooler

@@emiltoftgaard4044just checked and it fits with 2 140mm fans attached, but the side fan brackets need to be removed. So it would need a solution to mount the 3rd 140mm fan that goes on the right side. Those 3 140mm fans would cool this thing even further
Is itx case for the mini itx mobos?
Yes
