I feel that if RSlash got back in to the work force, he'd leave a trail of cold, petty revenge, from where ever the hell he is now all the way to the other side of the states lol. If only because of all the malicious idea's he's had since starting this channel.
I actually had a conversation with my husband and father last night that was completely inspired by all the videos from rslash. We just bought a house, and the street outside of the house holds water when we get a heavy rain. As a result, some of the assholes who live in the neighborhood drive up onto our yard to avoid the water, and destroy the lawn because of how soft the ground is. My dad went and bought PVC pipe and reflective paint to deter the people. I said to him, "well, if they decide to take out the PVC, I am buying some rebar and cement and sticking it in the PVC." I have seen it work on so many r/revenge stories.
Right! Better he break the chain and not let Karen who is in such a rush break it! It is nice when people do things like that but I would have done the same thing... I guess it was her daily A**hole Tax! lol Could have gotten a free drink!
I'll never understand the bosses need to complain about wasted time especially when 95% of the time that they do that they waste more time than what was actually wasted by the employees either being late a couple of minutes or just taking a few minutes break to refresh.
When the girl said to OP that she (the girl) "hated rude ugly c-word" (if I remember right), because OP said no when they asked/demanded OP to drive then somewhere. OP could of replied with... "Oh... so you must hate yourself then"
Still so confused why they expected OP to gladly drive them somewhere. Like, how would OP look like some sort of taxi driver or bus driver? They put stuff on the road, so I assume they were wearing some sort of high-vis vest or something.
I never understand the control freaks who get nuts about timekeeping in this way. I hope the employer learned a lesson. Giving a few minutes grace would have saved him a hassle and allowed him to keep a productive employee.
i will confirm this is true. if i am late even a min my boss is ok with it cause he knows i will make it up no mater how long it is. infact last month i made up 2 hours 30 min in 5 days by staying 30 min more for my work day [i had to leave that much earlier.] he was more than happy to make a deal to get a few more min of work from me. Honestly since he is cool with me, im cool continuing working for him cause he isnt a jerk about it.
@@bob0s062 I think that's true for sensible employers...particularly if employees aren't abusing it. One of my coworkers had a supervisor who would clock watch her daily. If she arrived 4 or 5 minutes late, the supervisor would deduct it from her PTO. Like...WTAF? No other department works this way. In fact, no other team in that department worked that way. It was just some bullshit the manager came up with. Mind you the worker was perfectly willing to shave time off lunch. AND this is an office job with no pressing need for this person to be at her desk on the dot. People are just nuts. My coworker changed departments as soon as she could. 🤣🤣
I always considered myself to be a fair boss, life happens and things can escalate quickly making it hard to get to work on time sometimes, hell I even went to the one person I reported to in my organisation and demanded we renegotiate a workers in office time so that they didn't have to stress about being late, however I draw the line where your tardiness effects others, a minute in the morning might not seem like much but if I have 6 meetings in a day and they are tightly packed (thanks meeting schedule you dick), and you are a minute late that means we are probably 5 minutes late minimum starting the meeting we had, that means my time between this meeting and the next is reduced so I need to scurry to the next one, often forcing that one to start late, which throws out everyone else by however much, and it dominoes down the chain. Being late on occasion is one thing, but have some respect for you co-workers and remember it affects them as well.
Was my own boss for a couple years, and then because of car trouble I took a third shift security job. I only had to deal with people from 7pm till about 10pm, as I was only watching over a gated community and they were mostly all in by 10pm. I wasn’t needed anymore when the pandemic rolled around, so they let me go. I’m back working for myself again after buying a new car, and am making 5X as much money now that everyone orders food to their house! I’m happy enough with what I do to make it a career. I will ALWAYS be my own boss!!
I loved that last story, management with that type of ego should learn to mind their positions. They treat alot of their workers horribly, hardest workers especially. They realize hard work when they see it, but its not good enough and make their subordinates work harder. After all their BS acts, they get quite a surprise at the end. As the saying goes, "The butts they kick today, will be the ones they kiss tomorrow", good on you to stand your ground OP~
Honestly the foreman is right like your shift starts at a specific time, if you can’t follow instructions on showing up at the start of your shift then how can you be expected to follow other instructions, omg he knew he was habitually late and left 5 minutes earlier maybe try 15-20 then you’d give yourself more of a grace period sounds like the OP had shit time management and blamed others
@@BarfusWOW For the time management part of you're comment at the end of the story he said that in total he was 8 minutes late throughout his entire time working there. But I think traffic is a perfectly reasonable excuse depending upon where he lives. I mean would you fire someone for being late if an accident or something on the road slowed down traffic by a lot.
@@erikmckoul2478 sure, but he was starting to show signs of habitually being late and using that as an excuse, the reasonable fix to that is to leave earlier, and frankly as someone who deals with traffic on the way to work, is to well leave earlier and 5 minutes is really not going to do it, I can be 5 minutes late just waiting for the elevator in my building or the drive-thru at the coffee store..
@@erikmckoul2478 Yes they would fire someone for being late because of an accident. I mean listen to them, someone who's been late 8 minutes over the entire history of their employment should leave 20 minutes early according to them... That's Absurd! Most companies I've worked at, you're not even considered late until it's 5 minutes post scheduled clock in time. And this guy wants him to leave 20 minutes early? Yeah, they'd 100% fire someone because of an accident that slowed traffic. I can hear it now "Roads aren't safe! You know accidents can happen that cause delays! You should be leaving 90 minutes early so you can still be on time if there's a pileup on your way to work."
Hilarious!! As soon as he said to pay for the car behind the Karen I had to laugh as I was thinking the EXACT same thing. Only difference was I would also ask her to tell Karen who I paid for and let her know what a noisy horn gets you. NOTHING!! 😎
I had two girls show up at my house one summer evening. They wanted a ride somewhere because they were apparently running away from a boyfriend. He was abusive and flipping out about something. While I wanted to help, I’m not about to get into a car with two young scantily clad girls, that I don’t know. Also they had alcohol in one of the purses. They were not even 18. I was busy cleaning my house and didn’t have time to help them. They stood there and argued with me for 10 mins. I was planning on having my wife take them where they wanted to go when she got home; maybe 20 mins. Then one of them says, “if u don’t take us, we’ll tell your wife that u f$&@ed us.” Lol. I said, “you’re trespassing now!” Slammed the door and called the cops.
"I could never go back to the workforce. I'd probably get fired." Dude I've been self-employed for 13 years, and I FEEL YOU. I would absolutely get fired. My filter is GONE, and I've gotten way too used to the flexibility that comes with working at home, by myself and for myself. I mean, I work more now than I ever did, and there's a lot of pressure, but I have so much more autonomy and I'm not constantly worried about getting yelled at by a manager or a Karen. I love my job, and I don't have to do customer service anymore. Talk about motivation to keep this job going!
The employee won't say anything, so Karen won't know what went down. Bet she wouldn't have paid it forward anyway. But OP could have done it for the person after Karen just to be nice.
I wouldn't tell Grandma where her underduds ended up. Someone nasty like she is might do harm to those innocent piggies. Best to shrug and say you have no idea.
that's even worse when you know that without a petticoat, you can war the sari but it is only a matter of time before it falls off . petticoat are basically skirts
And that's the sad part. He said in his story when the other guy found out she was OP girlfriend he stopped talking to her, and showed OP all the texts/confirmed nothing came out of it.
Girls usually do it too; getting upset at the other girl. But it's unlikely that she was told that they had a SO and was unaware. I guess they assume that you know and just don't care
I've never understood why it is that people, Male or female, decide to direct all their anger at the other person rather than their cheating partner. I mean, I understand being angry at the other person under specific circumstances - like when it's a close friend/family member, basically any time where the other person is _absolutely_ aware that the cheater is in a committed relationship & goes along with it anyway.
Depending on the way they do the time clock, those three minutes don't really matter. Several softwares, famously Kronos, just round to the nearest 15. This is how I get 45 minute lunches but it counts for 30.
Kronos gets set up according to how the company wants it to. My honey and I both use Kronos at our different companies. My company has more of a culture of trust, and Kronos rounds to the nearest 15 for us. His company has a culture of pettiness, and he has been reprimanded for having overtime in the amount of 0.1 minutes.
@@andiwindsparrow Where I work, we also use Kronos and we just put in how much we've worked that day and under what billing contract the hours are. We have, by policy, a 7 minute window either way (so it rounds to the 15's) but there is no punching in. Nobody cares about times as long as your work is getting done in a timely manner. It's nice to be treated like an adult at work.
Please make sure, if your are going to narrate the story, you read the story correctly. In the first story you read it as "I was angry with him but livid with her" No he wasn't. It actually read "I Wasn't angry with him but livid with her." It changes the story and his character.
Like. What even is prom? You waste way too much money on an outfit you'll never wear again and probably regret anyway to spend an evening with people you won't care about in a few years- a lot of whom probably hated your ass for no reason, because teenagers are awful- and do nothing but stand around and talk. And you're chaperoned on top of it, so it's not like you're actually enjoying the independence a young adult is supposed to have.
I use to work at a diner and some of the kitchen staff were part time mangers so they would manage like 1 or 2 days a week. One day I walked in 1 minute late and my female manager ripped into me because I should have called to let them know. A week later she showed up as a cook not manager she was about 10 minutes late. I looked at her and was like "you made sure to call in right". She absolutely hated me
Man I worked like that at a job where I was one minute late coming back from lunch because I was in the restroom and had my supervisor literally stand behind me for the rest of my shift watching me.. That's the 1 reason I will never ever work at another factory. That's mentioned they took away our water privileges and got sued.
The last guy was actually savage!!😂😂I've seen like dozens of these revenge stories, but this one was really satisfying to watch. And the last line about teaching the ex army personnel about picking battles wisely, was the cherry on top.
Not gonna lie, prom is a waste of time. It's like every other school dance just with fancy clothes and food. I honestly wish I could rewind time and just stayed home watching movies with my mom for the night with takeout and junk food lol
Yea, I thought about going to Prom my senior year but then our year was the year they messed up and didn't book/deposit the usual place. So yea, I wasn't about to go to prom that was just in our high school gym like any other school dance.
I never went to my prom. And I don't regret it. Yeah, it would have been nice to have a date, but I was happy just staying home. Since I'm not really a "dressy" person. X'D
Well unlike Daily Dose of Reddit at least rslash isnt reposting the same exact episodes for literal WEEKS and ignoring his fans, looks like rslash is now a fave.
Never heard of Daily Dose of Reddit before but that is because don't venture to other Reddit channels for fear of that annoying robot voice the money farms use to pump out content fast... Sounds like they are really dropping the ball here.
I left retail after 14 years. When people ask why I don't go back I say because I'd go to prison for murder. That field zapped my tolerance/patience. I've tried misc. other career attempts and eventually also want to be my own boss, but I've done my time in customer service.
Just so everyone knows, most drive through workers absolutely hate it when people do the Pay it Forward thing. It totally messes up everything in their system.... At least that's what I've been told by like six different drive-through workers at different drive-thru restaurants... Heartwarming as it seems, it really complicates things for the workers in the restaurant.
That's bs... I have seen it countless times personally, on all sides of the situation. Typically, what you'll see is, the 1st person will provide x amount based either on change from larger bills or using a separate bill all together from their own purchase... Then, the next will either pay their own bill, effectively not using it or subtracting from the initial sum. Whatever remains is then offered to the next patron. This continues until the total is fully used up. Everybody still orders exactly as normal, while the payment amount is substituted with the pay it forward amount & the change is put towards the next person. Literally almost nothing changes for the staff, aside from doing basic addition /subtraction as needed. I have literally never heard a single staff person complain about this. Frankly, it's not uncommon for any left over monies like this to be turned over to the staff as tips. Given that typically this occurs in drive thrus, this will often amount to some of their only tips, since tipping is rather uncommon in drive thrus. If anything, it breaks up the boredom & monotony. Be careful white knighting, especially when you have not been asked to represent & /or aren't even personally informed on/effected by the subject. If you want to be helpful to a cause, your best bet is to actually ask the affected involved parties what help they would like. All too often our efforts are at best useless & at worst, dangerous /destructive, when we don't coordinate before acting. I doubt that most staff want people to stop this practice, especially given what it means to their potential tips. Besides, generally people are more generous with any tipping, if they experience such situations. It's the same reason most staff smile, even if they are not happy. They know that they are more likely to get any tip & whatever tip they get will likely be larger, if they smile throughout service. While some staff will still insist that the boss/job, can't force them to smile if they are not happy & they are kind of right; but customers will reduce their tips & the bosses can usually fire you for no reason at all. So it really is a futile debate, whether or not some may not like it, currently if you want to make money in the service sector, there's stuff that might add a bit of work but it pays the bills at the end of the day & that's what they care about.
Singular minutes literally DONT count. I remember being accused of time theft for signing in 1 minute early, but our system rounds to 15 every time. Its kinda funny how much of a power complex bosses have when they can
OP should have paid for the coffee for the car BEHIND Karen. Then told the employee, "Make sure to tell her about it." Then watch Karen blow up and likely say "I am NEVER coming back here!" I guarantee you, Karen would have gotten gleeful for getting free coffee and gone "Ugh! Why would I pay for someone else's order!?"
I too am self-employed. The ability to fire customers (usually Karens) who aren't worth the bother has ruined me for ever going back to work for someone else, and my own schedule is the cherry on top
Ive been telling all my friends for weeks how much better the world would be if we got 1 free pepper spraying a year in retail. Imagine the queen of karens super-imposing her way on you, and then you break out the spray. Every karen would be on their best behavior, in fear of being sprayed.
10:03 the hell- 15 pounds is NOTHING!! I gained 45pounds when I started dating my bf (he also gained weight, no surprise there when you are so happy and in love that ya got to eat good stuff too xd) We have worked together to get to the point we want, being honest with one another along the way
Second story: I haven't listened so this comment may be totally unrelated or fall on deaf ears, but: I had a brother who was three years older than me, too. He was extremely disrespectful, unironically told me that I ruined his life, constantly told me that I was a mistake and an unintentional baby, threw tantrums and physically assaulted me (Never too seriously, though, and I was always nimble enough to avoid him) and seriously made me resent him in every single way. After years of therapy for him, he actually rather quickly became better, almost the moment he left high school. He turned into a real human, with empathy and consideration and I'm extremely proud to call him my brother; Not because of where he is now, but because of where he came from. He really was nearly rock bottom as a person, but I can genuinely say I respect him and can look up to him. I don't know if this means anything to anyone, but I just felt like sharing. Anyone, even the worst of the worst, can sometimes change for the better in incredible ways, if they're just supported enough. Sometimes it's more worth it to back out and cut ties with people, but that shouldn't be your first-response to bad people.
Nah....from someone who's addicted to eating and doesn't want to sleep out on the streets, you do what you have to do. Abusive bosses, petty bosses, people gunning for you....It absolutely sucks but some of us have little to no alternative. You'd cope. You'd hate it, but you'd cope. Especially as a father.
I'm so happy my workplace is flexible. Officially it's 7:30-16:00, but as long as the minutes add up at the end of the month, nobody cares if you're a bit late some days. There's also a time bank, you can do some extra for a few of days, and leave two hours earlier on another day, and it's no big deal. It's brilliant and I love it. (I have no idea how common this is, I don't have varied experience in different companies, just this one.)
Tip: ghost pepper extract does the same as OP did with the pepper spray. Put some on items you don't want other people touching or you don't know who was touching. They'll likely touch their face and eyes and oh boy, it's going to _burn._
that engineer one is the wrong sub. that was a nuclear power move. he LITERALY made them get the revenge on them self. also OP got some extra money out of it.
Re: What rSlash said at the end about failing to adapt back into regular jobs after CZcams: I totally disagree! Obviously I can't tell the future & he may be right (I say maybe because sometimes we don't see our true abilities) but I just don't see it. If I were to pick the CZcamsr I feel would best adapt back into working regular jobs, it would be rSlash! Seriously! He's just so level headed, logical, mature, experienced and has had the best training you can get; Reddit content. Am I saying he would jump back into it seamlessly? Hell no! I'm just thinking about all the CZcamsrs going back to a regular 9-5... The world _and_ each CZcamsr themself would crash and burn beyond recognition!! JayStation? The ACE Family? Jake/Logan Paul? Onision? That's just off the top of my head at 4:15am lol
I had my own business for 21 years and my employees kept their own time cards. I can't recall any problems with "lateness" ever being an issue. We managed to take care of customers and got our work done. Well, sometimes they would "remind" me to get certain jobs started or finished. Good times.
OH MY GAWD!!! I go away for vacation and come back to find my story in an R/slash video!! AHHHH!!! Hubby and I are doing well, and are now having fun exercising and cycling together on the weekends.
Jeez, that second story... OP, your brother sounds like a malignant narcissist. I'm honestly kind of worried about the future. Not just for you, but for anyone this guy dates, or works with, etc.
Just gonna say, OP couldn't have payed for the ticket of the person behind Karen at starbucks. The system doesn't let baristas pull tickets up to be paid out of sequence. lol I've tried before.
In the Starbucks one, OP should’ve payed for hers and got out of his car, walked to hers, and take the drink as it’s being handed. He paid for it so it’s technically his.

That's why some employers try to avoid hiring people who have been their own bosses before. They aren't sure how to handle someone who knows they don't NEED that job. Who could decide at any moment, "To hell with this," and leave. That's scary to some employers.

@@diannelavoie5385 What are you talking about? The couple in that story were obviously just messing with each other and being playful, OP wasn't actually mad at all.
Honestly, when it comes to getting to work on time, first of all, get a job that has a window for when you can get to work. I feel like most office jobs are pretty flexible, you need to get to work at 7, but you really just need to get there sometime between 7-8. I've had 2 office jobs, and my first one just said "be in the building by 8:30", and my current job doesn't even have defined hours. Second, if you have to clock in by a specific time, plan enough time in your commute for delays from weather and accidents. If you get to work early, see if you can leave early, or kill time some other way (listen to podcasts or books, get a coffee, take a short walk, have breakfast, etc). That's my experience as someone who is salaried though.
There’s something up with kids nowadays. The barricade story reminded me of one time at a bus stop, some high school kids kept moving wet floor signs and sandwich boards into the street and blocking traffic. I needed to catch the bus so I just marched out and grabbed the signs, putting them back on the sidewalk. The kids started cussing me out, one called me the n-word (I’m white??), and what’s even crazier is some of these idiots ALSO got on the bus. Like??? Y’all were blocking the bus lane. What were they gonna do if I hadn’t moved the signs and the bus ended up turning and skipping the stop??
Re your closing remarks: I find not having a commute makes a big difference. Where I live, it's not unusual to drive 20 to 30 miles to work. I think with "the new normal" more people have experienced the benefits of working from home, and I think it will remain more popular. Even before the current situation, in my line of work (software engineering) there has been a shift to remote workers in order to not be limited to people you can find locally.
normal people: "I can't go back to the military" after going through some tough stuff rSlash: "I can't go back to the work force" after being a youtuber.
Idk if you’ll see this @rSlash but I’ve always wondered, does reading all these stories as a job impact the way you go about things day to day now? You spend so much time reflecting upon other people’s decisions I imagine it must make you more prudent, like you’ll catch yourself before making a mistake or read people better. And I guess there’s the other side too, I wanna know if someone crosses you good you’d probably be filled with ideas for revenge haha.

I'd probably get fired."
Dude I've been self-employed for 13 years, and I FEEL YOU. Talk about motivation to keep this job going!

glad to finally have a story where the victim of cheating is mad at the partner and not the person they cheated with
Why do guys get mad at the other guy when the girl cheats? Its unlikely she told the guy she's dating. I would say most guys honor the bro code.
And that's the sad part. He said in his story when the other guy found out she was OP girlfriend he stopped talking to her, and showed OP all the texts/confirmed nothing came out of it.
rSlash misread OP's post. It reads that he wasn't mad at the guy.
But that does happen, and I totally get your point.
Girls usually do it too; getting upset at the other girl. But it's unlikely that she was told that they had a SO and was unaware. I guess they assume that you know and just don't care
works both ways round: the cheating partner never gets blamed as much as the other person who very likely never even knew anything about it.
In the first story you read it as "I was angry with him but livid with her"

Gotta admit, considering the first story takes place in high school, that felt WAY bigger than petty revenge!!!

For some managers, it's never about OP. It's about hearing their own voice echoing through their massive egos. OP is just an excuse.
Dang :( I’m sorry that he started out like that, but damn I’m happy he improved and you get along :)))))

I'm so happy my workplace is flexible. Officially it's 7:30-16:00, but as long as the minutes add up at the end of the month, nobody cares if you're a bit late some days.
Re your closing remarks:
I find not having a commute makes a big difference. Where I live, it's not unusual to drive 20 to 30 miles to work. I think with "the new normal" more people have experienced the benefits of working from home, and I think it will remain more popular. Even before the current situation, in my line of work (software engineering) there has been a shift to remote workers in order to not be limited to people you can find locally.
normal people: "I can't go back to the military" after going through some tough stuff
rSlash: "I can't go back to the work force" after being a youtuber.
