Thank you for the video, I am having issues with my alcohol density monitoring system. Been back to dealer and had the tsb on my 14’ tundra done where it says to replace fuel pump, however it’s been few years and it’s climbing back up again, would this tool let you reset the alcohol density value?
I just programmed a couple of oem H chip keys I got off ebay with this Launch Creader ODB2 tool. For a 2014 Corolla. So easy! The hardest part was getting keys cut as I had to check and go back and forth before the key cutter finally cut the keys down enough. Going to a locksmith might be quicker than the convenience store 😂

Will this tool work for 4runner 2020 and it have zero point calibration function too? Some people say for any function it must need 100% internet dependency.. is this correct.. can u guide

It connects to wifi, they do live updates all the time. Haven’t tried newer than 2020, but it should work fine.

Thanks. I prefer the Topdon for most things because I like the bigger screen and faster tablet. My favorite things about this launch tool are the coding ability and the fact that the updates are free for life.

Hi Larry, I wish I could answer for sure, but they don’t have a list of specific cars. Only way I could know is try it in a Camry.

Great review. Looks like a promising tool for Toyota owners. I looked on Amazon at the long list of Toyota models this Launch is compatible with, but I didn't see Tacoma listed. I would assume that's an oversight, but I want to make sure it will work with my 2016 Tacoma before I order one. So, will it work with the Tacoma?

Thanks for the tip about turning off the seat belt warning buzzer. There is one other ECU code I'd like to turn OFF.
How about Navigation/Map information (GPS)? Can I turn that OFF too? I don't want the map screen turning on at any time. Can this Launch tool do that?
There is a nav system customize option, but I don’t know what it does.
I work for Toyota and it's very very annoying to check out tech stream from the parts room, this tool is super handy if u have a newer Toyota with a epb and want to change rear pads this tool puts the car in maintenance mode this is a life saver
I can imagine it takes 15 minutes to do a 1 minute job.

No, that’s not in this tool.

Purchased this tool and I was told that it had the ability to check the TPMS sensors and to register the battery in the future when it is needed. Well, it does do those features and more. BUT, you are required to purchase those functions and they only last a year. Still going to keep it though.

Will it work to turn off or deprogram the “limp mode “ function on a 2010 Tundra with 4.6 V8? Very annoying to lose power when you lose traction or have secondary air pump issues. Great videos BTW!
No, this tool won’t do that. The only way I know of to get it out of limp mode is either A: repair the issue or B: run the engine with a different ECU.
Just hit the traction button once to engage the lsd(limited slip dif). This will essentially calm down the loss of power due to tire spin. For air flow it's either a dirty mass air flow sensor or a going out one. I have a 07 tundra 5.7 and always drive with lsd on or traction completely control off(hold down traction control button for 5ish second to turn off)

No, they go away when it’s done.
I have a Sequoia with only one key, no fob. Can I use this to register another key and fob to work with m6 original key?
You can register your key with this tool so that it will work in the ignition. As far as keyless entry goes, there is a procedure you can do without a scan tool. Just search CZcams, there are probably a dozen videos on how to do it.

Would this work with a 2016 5th Gen 4Runner Key Fob. I have 3 new Key Fobs already cut, but the dealership wont program them because I did not buy them from Toyota and they want $395 per key with programming if I go through them. That's just ridiculous.
Wow! That’s a ton of money. Unfortunately, there’s no list of applications I can reference, but every car I’ve tried it on, it could access the immobilizer.

Can you turn off that annoying low tire pressure light? I have a 2007 Lexus and I'm not replacing a $185 a piece tire pressure monitors .
Not an option that I’ve seen on this tool, but I’ve got an idea in the works. Look for a video on that in a few weeks.

I just looked at the menu. It gives a listing for 2019 and up, but not sure if that includes 2023.

For the transmission fluid temperature reading ability it is a must have for Toyota owners, but do you know if temperature being displayed is "live stream" data, or just a snapshot?

I just ordered one, used the $40 off coupon to get the price down to $139 before taxes. I have a 2020 Tundra and my wife has a 2020 Corolla. I know my wife’s Corolla has the highly annoying seat belt buzzer that does NOT shut off after so many seconds like my Tundra will do so I’m hoping this tool will turn that blasted thing off. Another feature on her car that I hate is the automatic locking doors. Nothing more aggravating than my wife asking me to grab groceries out the car, but by the time I get out to the carport, the dang car has automatically locked all the doors so I have to go back into the house to retrieve her keys!!! 😡 If I can adjust the timer or turn that feature off, it will be worth the cost.

Will this perform ZERO POINT CALIBRATION? If so that’s impressive
I just had a look at my Tundra (2018). The tool does have the ability to reset the skid control ECU, that measures yaw and GForce. This truck doesn’t have crawl control so I wasn’t able to see anything about zero point. Hope this helps.
@@ToolDemos In theory that should zero calibrate it. I know Launch has a step by step for this, just was unsure if this inexpensive tool could accomplish this. Thanks for the feedback!!
