Eric's set not only demonstrated why he's considered on of the top electric guitarists today (of any genre), it also showed how talented and insightful he can be on the acoustic guitar. The show allowed Eric to share his story of overcoming addiction and to provide a positive message for those dealing with similar demons.

The legend... remember seeing a small guitar article in a magazine.. side note about this dude. Then he came to my small town blues fest... been a huge influence on me since. He’s just the most raw blues talent around today! His bag of tricks is worth borrowing from... that’s if you can actually follow his gospel blues roots.

In these days of boutique overdrives and distortions, I love how clean his solos are. You can hear all the nuances of the notes being played against the fretboard and not being obscured by a bucketload of drive
