I've had this drone for over a week now, brilliant bit of kit. Amazing sound when you open up the throttle. Upgraded to the M10 GPS chip module and fitted a buzzer.

Wow amazing flying, production value and editing! One note of caution - when landing on gravel actually try to avoid this bc the small bits of gravel fly up and get sucked into your motors and essentially destroy them in short order

Be careful that's a nile crocodile!!lol It's a man eater but what a way to go! Steve you have to do a heavy lifters episode. Those are some of the burliest engines I've seen on a drone and what a top speed. We are getting into guided missile territory. The kinetic energy that thing would pack at top speed with a big battery is devastating. But talk about being able to film any RC plane or car for that matter is truly epic. I hoped you were going to circle Jedi Steve's plane while filming his flight. They could be helicopter motors!! Thanks for another great review. PS are we going to get an RC car and or boat week this summer too?

She's a thing of beauty, the red washers are a nice touch, it's a little sad they copied the iflight protector sides and XT60 connector despite it's inconvenient plug angle. Would have preferred a diversity nano RX. The thing really lacking with these biguns is foldable arms for travel. What's extra in the guts? LED controller board? Spark inhibitor? Gpsmate? Finder beeper?
Beeper yes. LEDs no.
Flight times in the 5 min for a 7-inch drone sounds terrible to me (just a personal preference). I’d like to see how it does with a huge Li Ion !! Thanks for the review.

I've said it before Steve, this is another item which you have convinced me "I really need". We used to call a forward, or negative loop, a "Bunt", in the diesel powered control line days. Now that big battery is going to put some g forces on those Velcro, straps. Although it probably alters the C of G and moves it closer the roll centre, but what do I know. Have a great day.

Always love your videos!! I wonder if you could one day make a video about why someone would get a long-range FPV drone. In other words, what is a long-range FPV drone good for and who is it for? I haven’t been able to find a video about this anywhere.
The FPV hobby started with Racing through gates at high speed. The Freestyle was added and many pilots flew through and around buildings close by. Then when technology in transmission improved, a new segment opened for long range FPV drones. Those are used for exploration, usually up and down mountains, or along rivers.

I see that GepRC have changed the FC per their page. Changelog May 6, 2024: GEPRC Crocodile75 V3 FC changed from SPAN F722-BT-HD V2 to GEP-F722-BT-HD V3. Are you aware of any issues that they were having with the original FC? Thank you
Usually a change is due to the company saving money by using different components, or previous components are no longer available at a good price.

I have a problem with the propellers which in flight traction came loose and stopped spinning (motors work)
The drone fell down but it works.
How to install the propellers correctly?
Put on the propeller from the engine this side where there is a bigger hole, indentation?
Do you have the inscriptions on the top or bottom?
Fully tighten the propeller?
Fully up to the engine tighten the propellers?

Between the croc75 v3 and moz7, if you were to choose, which one would you prefer? I'm torn between the two
When people ask me "which would i prefer" I always have to say that, what I prefer (considering my experience and usage) is 100% not what someone else would prefer. You can't go wrong with either.
I was looking at getting this drone and currently torn between crossfire and elrs for my tx16s. What made you choose crossfire over ELRS?

Yes…. But using the DJI FPV controller is not optimal as it is not designed for the RC hobby.
Hi, just wondering if you have any info on the insta 360 go2? They don’t offer it on their website anymore nor any of its accessories. Do you know if they are going to come out with a new model. I have one and really like it. It’s really is my go two camera. I wanted to get a couple more of those hat clips and was thinking of getting a second camera with the 64 gb. Hi Captain Drone, I saw your review on the the C-fly faith mini drone and decided to try my hand flying a drone. As this is my first one I wanted a biginners drone as when it comes to the DJI mini pro, just to expensive at this stage of learning how to handle a drone that has a bit of distance.
I will be using the drone in very secluded areas up north of Vancouver island and neer water and wondering what I can use for a floating kit for this drone. I am a little concerned while flying over water and it lands by accident in the water so I want err on the side of caution.
hope you can direct me to a kit as I do know they are not that heavy and the drone is only 239g itself.

Was the footage from 7:57 to 8:17 stabilized or RAW ?
All footage is direct out of the camera (DJI and GoPro unless otherwise indicated on the screen). Footage from FPV goggles would be what you would consider to be non-stabilized.

@@nazahelbrum3318 Yes, the FPV drone hobby is mostly always manual mode. Only DJI makes the beginner modes so that an FPV drone (like the Avata) flies like a beginner DJI Mini or DJI MAVIC.

Great video! In it you did something that I have always wanted. How did you have the OSD elements in your flight video? I can't find anything online on how to do it. I have the original DJI FPV system in my GEPRC drone and use the DJI goggles V2.
Just connect your cell phone to your goggles and record your cell phone screen.

Electronic Image stabilization has come a long way & gimbals are no longer necessary in drones with small cameras.

I think it’s absolutely absurd that fpv drones still have to have 2 cameras. No one has attempted to streamline the concept? Hero>HDMI out>TX?
FPV drones do not require two cameras??? In this video I added a GoPro in order to show how good the DJI camera is in comparison. FPV drones come with a camera mount just in case the owner wishes to attach a special camera for a special purpose.

Different stokes for different folks. These FPV drones have very limited capabilities. They just do one thing well, not enough for me to buy one.
These are the drones hollywood movie action scenes are made with or TV car commercials, or TV shows, etc.
This is a super ugly drone, looks like a 5yr drew it. Wish they would make cooler looking frome, its been the same ol same ol x carbon for a very long time.
Do you need to balance the drone? With such a big battery?
Not really, but it would help.
