Kind of funny. I have only been playing for about two weeks, and this is how I always fly my four ship formations. So far it has worked well for me. Also I love your vids. very helpful.
I can't wait to use this formation. I use tight box formations with A-Wings when my opponent has a large ship and they just can't cope with me as it is. turn it into a diamond and I think they will just go lay down in the street haha
Check out a fabric store for black felt. It's cheap, the surface holds models in place well, and often if you have them cut a yard of it it will be 3x6 feet, which means you can cut it in half to get 2 playing surfaces, or you can measure off and mark one side as a 3x4 or 5 ft section for bigger games or scenarios and mark the other side with a standard 3x3 for regular games and you'll have a nice neat black area sectioned off for counters, cards, etc. I picked mine up from joanns for $3 with a 40% coupon found on their website.
Nice video - I'm wondering if there's any maneuvers that will put them back in formation once they have done one of the banking maneuvers you've shown here?
It is a pity you have such a few "watches". You do an excellent job in teaching how to play.

could you do a video about maintaining formation through an asteroid field please? That's the biggest problem I'm dealing with right now.
