My wife and I went to a private training class before we purchased our first handgun. Prior to attending the training we were very afraid of guns. The instructor was amazing and emphasized safety throughout our lesson which provided us with gave us confidence that gun ownership can and should be done safely.
Thank you for addressing this in a humorous way. I thought I was alone and actually embarrassed. It's something that's hard to explain without sounding a little mentally off. As soon as I watched your video the fear went away. I think when we know we're not alone it's a relief.
My story is similar. When I purchased my first handgun, I was dreadfully afraid that I would somehow do something wrong and injure someone. Fortunately, I shared these feelings with a coworker who put me in touch with a local shooting range. The very next weekend. I took a class and, today, many, many years later, I am a competitive shooter and an instructor. Great video series! Thank you for the helpful information!!

Yes sir. I know I was nervous after not shooting for 6 years when I decided to purchase my pistol. I made the decision to go the whole 9 yards getting membership with USCCA, NRA, two other separate insurances. So far since I've owned my Smith&Wesson M&P9 M2.0 metal. 👌LOVE this pistol. Looking forward to buying the Competitor. I'm waiting for my local gun store I purchased the one I got now, to get in a Competitor model with black slide and Gary frame.
