True. Our political system is rigged. Only country in the world that doesn’t allow poor people to leave work to vote. Only country in the world that has an electoral college system and not a democratic system. The Republicans haven’t won a democratic election in 44 years
Agree whole-heartedly. Don't see how that ever happens though with the ingrained mindset of 'a vote for a qualified brand x contender means one less vote the bad guy needs to win'. Then the concept of that person accomplishing anything even if they win. The problem of dealing with the largely 2 party congress. Only real solution as I see it is to make political parties illegal. You just have to run on what you stand for. Chaos for the special interests!
If you want many parties, you need to end the current system of financing elections. Stop allowing PAC's. Limit donors to a set number of dollars per election, say $2500 for all donations across the board. Once the money is gone, the parties will self destruct because they'll have nothing to sell rich people.
David Pecker didn't say that he had any conversations with Donald Trump about this so I don't understand what this lady from CNN is trying to say.

It doesn't matter how often National Enquirer did this for other people. The other people weren't running for President. The playing field changes when you are talking about a federal election campaign. Additional disclosures are required by law so the people have full information on who they are voting for.
