i love how the parts he skips can turn out to be the wildest part. "so me and my buddy was walkin down the street and uhhh " .."who was your buddy".. "it was george clooney but we aint in touch anymore"
Louisiana native here... I can confirm that his stories are legit. Growing up in Louisiana or Florida is like the tutorial to becoming an Australian 😂😂😂 it's all fun and games until you see a high speed chase involving a riding lawnmower and a stolen 12 pack of beer... and then after the chase... you see the cops and fireman drinking the stolen beer... 😂😂😂 fun times😂😂😂
It's so funny cause you never know wtf is coming after he says "dude where I grew up...." 😂😂 the fact he just has random stories ready to fire off 😂 I absolutely love him!
Tbh i dont care if its true, Theo's stories are funny and entertaining. The difference between rogan, bert, and brenda is that their fake stories make them seem like gods amongst the plebs while Theo's stories are wacky and random without making himself seem like he's better than everyone or flexing money
The story of the Mexican kid always fascinates me. Theo finds a way to make a poor mexican kid getting expelled instead of helped for his language barrier funny and its brilliant😭😭
@@stephena2390 alright then prove it lmao, no one that “grew” up von will just randomly watch and comment on a random compilation of his work. If u grew up with him you’ve got to have a single picture right? A yearbook on any of the years you grew up with him? Straight cap lol
I’ve been watching this man for years, and I still can’t tell where “character” Theo ends and “real” Theo begins. This man is a legend in my eyes, not just in comedy, but performance art in general. Good shit.
i did that too when i was a teenager. had just teepeed a house and the cops showed up so me and my friends alltook off in different directions and i ran to a mcdonalds, hoped the fence and hid in the balls and stayed there til the morning. had totally forgot about that until just now! theo is so good, i believe a lot of his stories, his delivery and everything is what makes him so fucking funny and his choice of words. wish i could remember everything from my youth, it was mental, but it would never touch theos, hes a genuis!
Dude, we had a bus driver, same guy, back is into a river, back us into a power line (not pole), and another bus driver, she had a break down in the middle of driving. She stops and vents to us, her daughter had died, fun stuff.
Theo is from my town. A bunch of my friends went to high school with him. My ex had drama class with him. I still live in the same town of Covington, Louisiana. Can’t believe how huge she has become on the comedy scene.
Re: Burn pit for household trash Check. Went to my dads one weekend and found my horses teeth in there. It was a Sattle Club weekend too. Never forgot that. Im 39. He never could tell me it died. RIP Termite
Sleeping in a room with 50 miles of snake and a sped up ceiling fan something akin to helicopter speed keeping those snakes ready to pounce. Theos imagery is hilarious! 😂
my favourite part about Theo on other people's podcasts is how there's almost always a joke that hits so hard you hear a distant echo of an intense cackle comin from way over on the other side of the room, probably breakin its way out of some audio egineer or producer that is almost always good at staying quiet but not this time cuz Theo is just too fuckin funny that it breaks them
97% of this stuff was common in my home town, but I just didn’t live in the city. 297 people in my home town. Arkansas ain’t that much different. We become story tellers by accident, cuz we see some wild stuff
Im on theos ball pit theory that ive done sm fucking crazy weird shit that i never thought howd i get here but just enjoying the ride. I dont know what im doing here at all so just ride the wave brah.

I caught that too I was like wait when did Milfred come back into the story the funny thing is after witnessing a senior citizen get murdered by a dude theo ends up having the same dude become his bus driver and still just gets onto the bus and let’s him kidnap for the day and then just gets off the bus like it was just a normal thing 😂 fukin theo gotta love him
I mean as someone from Tennessee I can confirm that ditch fires are extremely common. So common in fact that in some counties it’s the only way trash is dealt with. Idk why you’d consider that story hard to believe… I guess your privilege is showing
Theo reminds me of Ryan Hailey from Funhaus, in that I wouldn’t believe him unless there was so much filmed evidence backing up every one of his insane stories. I genuinely believe Theo, he just seems like that kind of guy.
When I was a homeless teen I would sleep behing vending machines in motel vending machine/ice machine areas. It was so odd coming out from behind the machine it someone was there but I would just pretend I was looking for something and found it.
Fun Trivia: The Street Fight by the Ditch Fire (4:06), It's one event but told in two perspectives. On one hand, he's telling the story highlighting one guy (with Duncan Trussell) and on another time, he's highlighting the other person of the story (with Bert Kreischer). Definitely one of the most memorable experiences for me editing this because it was such a joy realizing how great a storyteller Theo Von is. Great editing. I've seen all of those interviews/ podcasts before, but it was seamless. Really cool to pick the subtle differences each time he tells the same story, just on a different platform. You, my friend, are out here doing the Lord's work and spreading the good word😂
The ball pit one makes sense because there are still McDonalds locations to this day with outside jungle gyms that are uncovered at the top. Many have fences now on top of them but its not to say they dont exist without.
I have alot of really crazy stories. Sometimes i forget how many insane thihs i have seen or loved through. Especially compared to people today. And im only 36. But shit like in 3-4 grade i had a teacher that used to put us in a triangular wooden box he made when we did something bad. Which even included farting in class. He was an old vietnam vet. Now i realize he was a bit off from that likely. But he would put us on this box only big enough to set cross legged in. And between boards in had little cracks. He would sneak up if he saw us trying to peak out and smck the wide with a yard stick! Also some sadistic whit was he mounted the pencil sharpener to the side and woulf have all the other kids constantly get up and sharpen their pencils. Just as a form of torture to the kid stuck inside the box. Cause it would echoe and grind super loud snd vibrate in the box! Thid was in the 1990's!... Can you imagine kids today dealing with that?! Haha.
Plot twist: what if in Theo’s early comedy days he made up hundreds of different stories to test out which ones made people laugh, and then later repeated the best ones over and over because he knew they were reliably funny, coincidentally also bolstering their credibility? (Jk I know my dude Theo would never do us like that)
Yal. Me and Theo I swear to GOD. Has had almost the same childhood 😂. Yal don’t know bout little small towns in Southern Indiana 🫨. Austin Indiana yooo. AKA “Pistol city”!
what I like about Theo's storytelling is that he bypass certain details like its obvious to everybody and its the most bizarre thing ever hahah

Yeah it's the matter of fact way he says shit like you grew up down the street and should remember the shit.
“They had real black bears out there, and I’m not saying they’re black, I’m just sayin they happen to be black when people see em” 😂😂
That one and the nonverbal belt had me struggling to breathe 😂😂😂😂
This editing is INCREDIBLE. So much better than hearing the clips with some dude chat about the clips before or after.
oh my god yes. too many channels are narrating and describing the video like we cant comprehend whats going on... purely content
Theo is the pure definition of "never let them know your next move".
As a person who is from Louisiana a lot of this sounds totally plausible to me we r like floridas special Ed little brother
Also from Louisiana and can confirm these are realistic stories from here. 😂

In one bit he made fun of spelling, but in a different story it became obvious why spelling is important! Great editing
Cool how you edited all those stories together. Fun stuff haha. Love Theo
